Customer support agent and manager unprofessional way to handle the customer concern
The delivery was late, when I called to the customer support they said they can not reschedule to deliver as I was already out of my house nor refund is possible. I insist to talk to the manager , where I was been put on hold and the agent got back to me saying we will do refund and they block the restaurant in careem from where I used to order. Just a pathetic experience. Earlier I was ordering through Talabat and its such a lovely and professional experience. Careem is just want to take money and does not care about the customer experience and customer support agents really require high training and just not repeating like a robot or scripted.

Extremely disappointed with Careem
Extremely disappointed with Careem. I was charged double for a ride because the captain went in the wrong direction. When I tried to cancel as instructed, I was unfairly charged again. Despite multiple complaints, Careem refused to refund me. Totally unacceptable service. Mistakes happen, but refusing to correct your own error is inexcusable. I will think twice before using Careem again.

I would like to report a serious issue with the driver from my recent Hala Taxi ride.
The driver, Aftab ur Rehman (Yellow Roof Toyota Camry Hybrid 80089), started yelling at me during the trip and then forced me out of the car before reaching the drop-off location.
He did not take me home and left me in the street, which was unsafe and unacceptable.

I had the worst experience with this delivery app in Dubai - never order here. I placed an order and it never arrived. I called, but they never refunded my money, never paid attention to me, and never did anything. The service was terrible, and it felt like they didn't care about their customers. If I hadn't posted a bad review on their app, they would have never responded; they only care about their good reputation, not their customers. They only care about the money. I want my money back - please process a refund for my order. Could you please send me a copy-paste link to facilitate this, as I'm unable to do so myself? I hope for a better customer service experience in the future. Thank you for being warned.

Don’t even think of using this service
Don’t even think of using this service. Terrible service. Charged me money, but never delivered the food. Contacted the service, showed them proof, but the only response I received was “sorry for irresponsible behaviour of our driver”. Didn’t even bother refund me. What a shame! My honest recommendation is not to use this terrible service.

If I could rate 0 I would. Worse customer service I’ve ever experienced. My driver stopped in the middle of the highway and screamed at me and talked badly and they proceeded to do NOTHING just compensated the overcharge the taxi driver did but still charged me for the rest. The ride was supposed to be 15 minutes and ended up being one hour because the taxi didn’t know how to use a GPS and wouldn’t listen to us. I’ve had so many bad experiences with careem and I’m done. They just lost a customer that used the app every single day. I will use another app from now one. CAREEM NEVER AGAIN!!

I have had a rather disappointing experience on several occasions.
Firstly, I purchased a school ride package, only to discover that I was being charged extra. While a refund was issued after I contacted them, this issue occurs frequently, approximately once every four rides. One might easily infer that this is an intentional practice designed to overcharge customers. A significant amount of time is spent resolving these discrepancies.
Secondly, there have been instances where a ride's cost fluctuated by over 20%. The application initially estimates a ride to be between 80-100 AED, yet I am consistently charged at least 10% more. Upon contacting customer service, they apologize for the "mistake" and refund the 10 AED difference. I am left to wonder why these "mistakes" consistently occur, and why the base of refund is the 100 but not the 80 AED. This pattern again suggests a potential scheme to overcharge. It is truly unfortunate, as I feel I have limited alternative options in the UAE.
While refunds are consistently provided, they always seem to be to the company's advantage, and these issues regrettably persist.i

Rude Driver & Worst Customer Service
I placed an order around 11–11:30 PM because I was hungry and feeling sick. Around midnight, the rider called asking for my location. I told him I was on the opposite side of Nesto and that my full address was already in the app. Instead of checking it on Google Maps, he refused to deliver, saying it was a “hassle,” and even blamed me for putting the wrong address, which was clearly correct.
It took me three different agents to resolve this issue. The first two refused to give me a full refund and kept insisting the rider would deliver. One agent finally said the rider was on the way, but he ended up delivering my order to the wrong house and just left it there.
This whole experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I’d never recommend using Careem in Dubai after this.

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience. I placed a food order on Careem and cancelled it immediately after realizing I made a mistake. Despite cancelling right away, I was still charged on my card. I never received the food, yet Careem informed me that I’m not eligible for a refund because the restaurant had “already started preparing” the order — which seems unlikely considering how fast I cancelled.
It doesn’t feel fair to be charged for something I didn’t receive, especially since the cancellation was done almost instantly. I understand policies exist, but there should be a more transparent system showing exactly when the restaurant starts preparing an order versus when a customer cancels.
I hope Careem reviews this case properly and processes my refund. As a loyal customer, I expect fair treatment and accountability for situations like this.

I booked a Karim Comfort ride from Dubai Airport to my house (150 AED). The driver offered to help with my luggage and personally loaded all my bags including my handbag and a small duty-free bag with a 500 AED perfume. While he was loading the first bag, he told me to get inside the car and get comfortable. When we reached my building , I discovered the duty free perfume bag was missing, the driver accused me that I had the bag in the airport and never brought it along with my bags. It was later confirmed to have been left behind in the airport trolley and the Careem loading bay clearly a result of the driver’s negligence.
The driver denied responsibility, refused to help, and told me to pay for two extra rides to go back to the airport and collect it myself. He even said, “You can complain to Careem, nothing will happen, I will only bring your item if they agree to all this ” When I contacted Careem Support, they said drivers are not supposed to touch passengers’ luggage, so the company is not responsible even though their driver voluntarily did so.This explanation is unfair and unreasonable if your driver chooses to handle a customer’s belongings, he should ensure nothing is left behind. As a Careem Plus subscriber, I expected professionalism and accountability, but received none. The reason why I booked for a comfort ride as opposed to getting a random taxi is I expected premium service and safety. My perfume is still at the airport and I’ve had zero real help from Careem to resolve this.
Very disappointing service no accountability, and a complete lack of customer care. Just let everyone know, because when dealing with taxis.

Careem delivery drivers are frequently riding their motorcycles on pedestrian sidewalks, especially around their warehouse in Al Barsha This behavior is extremely dangerous for people—particularly children—who are walking there, especially at night. These drivers often speed out of narrow, non-vehicle lanes where pedestrians wouldn’t expect any traffic. I recently witnessed a child almost being hit by one of them. Immediate action is needed to ensure pedestrian safety in this area.

Careem: Food Delivered 1h40 Late, Refusal to Refund, and Order Thrown Away – Unacceptable Service
My order which was a wrap, was delivered 1 hour and 40 minutes late. Despite my clear request to cancel and refund the order due to the unacceptable delay and the evident health risk of consuming food that has not been properly stored for nearly two hours, my request was refused.
Furthermore, upon returning home, I discovered that the order was not even delivered, and the driver stated that he “threw it in the bin.”
