Cash converters (Castleford) does not ask for ownership of goods before buying from customers. I work 12hrs days and sometimes when i get home mine and my daughter's things are gone. I spoke to the manager in person once, asking her not to accept goods from someone as they belong to me, she not just spoke down to me but also patronized me and at some point I felt like she was making fun of me. She could for example take my number to maybe ring me when the person comes in with more stuff but instead she made me feel like nothing..I hope her karma comes to her pretty soon. I now think cash converters is the place for addicts to take things in..and no one cares about other people misfortune. Took me a while to write this review but I definitely think it was needed. I hope that manager gets fired as I doubt she has any training whatsoever in how to be a manager or how to treat people.

Great staff quick turnover of my goods

I have been in the one in Bletchely and can definitely recommend them for all your needs. The staff are really friendly and have amazing customer service, from Karen, James, Michael, Tash and all the other staff they really go out of their way to help.

We used the shop in Whitehall crescent Dundee to sell 3 Nerf guns my son no longer plays with. Staff were incredibly helpful and polite. No waiting and the process very efficient.

Got an e mail quote from CC in Eastleigh to buy an item for £60. When I arrive at the shop they offer £5.
Scammers - don't trust them.

I will share my experience of cash converters Enfield, the buying process was a good experience, but when I received the e scooter that I had purchased online it came with 2 flat tyres no rear brakes and the head light bracket was broken, the cables to the rear motors are rusted and hanging on by a thread, the scooter is not safe even if it could be ridden, when I contacted the store I was told the manager had checked the scooter over and the only problem he could see was the tyres were flat , so clearly it had not been tested. I am struggling to understand how and why they would sell it to me with 2 punctured tyres and no brakes , yet they seem to think this is okay. Be very careful buying from this store especially online. I have now made a formal complaint to the company and will be taking court action against them . Buyers beware

I am really concerned and extremely cross with this company I ordered online an item.
It was delayed then we had a message saying it was delivered by DHL we contacted CC who said it was signed for by my partner who confirmed that was not the case and where was our purchase.
They could not be less helpful except by telling us to "go away" after they told me to contact DHL I reminded them that I had no contract with DHL so that was something they needed to do..... Like that was going to happen!
I will never use CC again as I lost my money and had dealings with a company sadly lacking in any interest in customer services.
Abysmal service buy from them at your own risk.

yesterday i went to cash converters in Castleford West Yorkshire, that i have used a few times with the same items i took yesterday. i was served by the store manager. i took in my Pandora charm bracelet, they was two charms on there that i didn't buy my self they was given as presents in Pandora gift box so far as i was aware these was the really deal, the rest i have the receipts for and was purchased was Pandora in Wakefield, she refused to take the bracelet saying it wasn't genuine due to the two charms even though it has been taken from the same store before now and been accepting, she could have asked me to take the two charms off and taken the rest but no, i also had two rings that was also gifts, she said wasn't sliver they was plated and then refused to take any jewelry from me at all, saying i was making out they was genuine when they wasn't but I'm not an expert i wouldn't be able to tell something was fake or not. I also had a gold dolphin necklace that she wouldn't even look at and two bracelets from warren James that she didn't even look at just made out i was trying to rip them off (bare in mind i was putting things on buy back and i always buy them back) she good have taken the genuine stuff and refused the none genuine stuff as i didn't know as they was gifts and I'm not an expert. she was very rude about it, made me feel like i was some sort of criminal even though. these isn't the first time she has been like that she was rude a 3 month back when i took an iPhone 7 plus in, the gentlemen was going to take it and she refused it said the touch button wasn't working but cash generators who did all the same checks took the phone, it is started to feel like it is where the face fits with these store manager. she said her staff needed training but I feel she needs training in customer service and not to be so rude and disrespectful and also understand that not everyone is Jeweler expert and if things are bought as gifts and they can't tell what is fake and what isn't she should be a little better at understanding, I can understand not taking fake but to refuse to take jewelry off me all together when i genuinely didn't know and they was genuine pieces there to, isn't a good service at all. people just need to be aware off these lady as like i said where the face fits with her. my charm bracelet has been taken my these exactly same store several times and so had my dolphin necklace and the two sliver bracelets but now they can't be taken. Don't know what business she is in charge off but not very professional that is for sure.

I bought a dewalt multi tool from the Bury store. The team there were very helpful and friendly, particularly Craig the assistant manager who was able to discount the item for me and then arrange payment and postage. It arrived within 24 hours, which I think is magic. And to top it all off I have 12 months warranty aswell. Thanks for everything Bury.👍👍

James sales advisor was very professional and polite. I bought a smartphone in liverpool smithdown rd store I was very happy with the deal.

I bought a phone from the Bury store, really helpful staff and the manage gave me some discount so I could get the phone I wanted

Be careful on returns, they don't refund the VAT, so you're out-of-pocket, they don't explain this to you when you buy something.

Purchased a Korg Wavestate from the Southport store this week. The price was right, delivery price cheap and it arrived much quicker than the stated 3-5 working days. Next day delivery in fact, which was a nice surprise.

Can sometimes find a good deal and given it's backed by a long warranty, it makes it a far safer bet than buying from most used goods outlets.
