I transferred 2k qar to another account.. its been 48 hours its still under process. I raised a concern . They asked me to pay 50 qar to raise a ticket so that they can investigate! Isn’t this their only job ? Why am i suppose to pay 50 qar for this ? Arent they suppose to do it for free ? I am changing my bank .. this is not the first time they gave me solutions that made me angry . They have no system . No accountability

If I can give less than one star . I will give.

Awful experience with CBQ. Money was taken from my credit card in a retail shop in Dubai while I was in Doha (a security breach). I immediately blocked my credit card and called customer service. While on the phone, the customer service representative confirmed several other attempts at taking money from my account had been made while we were speaking. Luckily, I had already blocked the card. He said the bank would have refunded the amount taken as it obviously was a security issue. I raised the request for refund and, after four weeks, the investigating team came back to me saying that the transaction had happened in a safe environment and an OTP had been sent to my phone. I was positive no OTP had ever been sent to me, so I asked the bank for proof and - three weeks later - I haven't received an answer yet. I have called them several times during these three weeks, and they have never been able to produce evidence for what they claimed. Unprofessional and dishonest behavior. Stay away from this bank.

I clearly mentioned collection department to close my credit card after settlement of all the due amount. No single response and card is not closed. Lack of communication to customers and awareness of their duty.Yet, they are waiting to incur annual fees on my credit card, no care to close it upon request.

It's extremely frustrating that I applied for a credit card limit increase on February 26, and despite being assured of approval within 3–5 days, my account has yet to be updated. I've called the bank, raised a complaint, and confirmed there are no issues with my request, yet nothing has changed. Nearly two weeks have passed, which is an unreasonable delay.

I also sent an email to the platform, and although they initially promised a response within two days, they continue to delay the process. Despite my follow-ups, there is still no resolution. This ongoing delay is unacceptable. Can someone address this matter urgently?

Their services are automated and convenient but their customer services is absolute garbage. I don't know if they're just lazy or just instructed to be inconsiderate. I have wasted a lot of money from overseas calls and even sent a priority letter to them which costs a lot only to find out that I have not "all the details" that they want. Now I'm stuck with a ginormous amount of overseas call bill and accomplished nothing. I would not recommend this bank at all.

Was with this bank for 25 years, I’m an executive with high salary transferred to this bank just to say. Few months ago, over a weekend when my phone was on silent, 64 transactions each of 100usd has happened on my CC without any OTP. I saw it Monday morning and reported to the bank. After months of waiting, they only refunded half claiming I didn’t raised the issue on time! They now refuse the refund the other half no matter what I do! Such scammers!!!

CBQ credit card is the worst credit card since August of 2024!
They have change the payment bill from 30th of the month to 19th of the month,, why?? So that they could easily steal money to every credit card user and who are receiving their salary every end of the month. Why is that?? Of course nobody would have even single penny to pay your full balance before 19th of the month as the salary is coming before wnd of the month. Worst credit card ever!!!
I have paid the full amount of my total balance before 19th of this month but still i got deducted remaining balance and a credit shield! Call centers explanation when i have called about that matter he explained from south then east and north then again it went to east then north and south! And i said i will not get and i didn’t like to talk to him anymore.
Anyhow CBQ credit card is the worst credit card ever that’s all i could say!!!!!

i am going cbq wakrah Branch today.i need only 3 month bank statement.i am waiting 3 hours.it,s bad experience for me today.

The worst banking experience ever I had..

If you want a slow service, your money stolen, on hold without any justification, worst bank ever. You can choose cbq.

They are refusing to give me the exact transaction and reference number for an order that I didn’t make. And refusing at the same time giving my money back? Worst thing by that time I wasn’t even in Qatar and I also have proof, but they know this already and want to take my money. Literally the worst bank I wish if I didn´t reactivate my account with them. I will close my account and transfer it to another bank.

I went to CBQ to investigate fraudulent activity on my account and needed a printout of past transactions to clarify what had occurred. They demanded 20QR for each months transaction history. They do not make this information available to you online, you have no option but to cave to their demands. They hold your data hostage then force you to pay to get it. They were uninterested in helping me deal with the fraud, only in taking the little I had left!
They are rude, dismissive, and outright hostile as well. They continued to justify their actions and glared at me the whole time when I informed them my brother had been able to get a printout FOR NO FEE twice!! I would not recommend dealing with CBQ unless you enjoy giving your hard earned money to the bank.

Best customer service through their call centers and very supportive, they will do everything they can to assist you and guide you, however at Hamad international airport cbq branch it is thé worst branch I have ever seen , staff are not professional, they give vague information without even asking questions to understand people’s case , as if they don’t know their product, and this is not my first time to encounter such treatment at the same branch,better to call the center instead of wasting your time going to this branch.
Please educate and remind your staff to respect every customer who approach with total attention and willingness to help.
Overall services are excellent .

CBQ IS Worst service for phone calls. I can’t reach the customer service representative. OTP receives always late after the time laps and call disconnects. There is no options. Worst customer service…..

Worst bank in qatar ! Worst experience i’ve ever see .. every day we can’t make any transactions bcz of this app maintenance since years never been changed .. after 6pm u cannot get any assistance from their costumer care !! Can’t wait to change my bank ASAP.

Very disappointing experience with Commercial Bank of Qatar. Submitted an online account opening request two months ago, but the process remains incomplete due to unresponsive agents. Poor service—would not recommend CBQ for banking in Qatar.
