Lately no delivery of parcels to home…
Lately no delivery of parcels to home address whereas this was previously always done. Even medical supplies not left. Not talking about medication! Is there any reason. Just got home and collected one item and found notification for another.
Any explanation?
18kg package arrived NSW excellent work…
18kg package arrived NSW excellent work / communication package was handled and processed speedily to Melbourne's processing again excellent communication speedily processed well done and onto Shitty Adelaide Package arrived Sunday morning a notice it arrived sat there Sunday Monday Tuesday and finally delivered Wednesday WTF is wring in Adelaide when interstate can get it done in 1 day absolutely crap
I guess I can’t travel with my vitamins and micro-nutrients now, thanks to the delay. got my diet all messed
My order never arrived within the expected timeframe. If you’re ordering an item and Australia Post is the courier, be aware that delivery could take 4 weeks or more.
While Australia Post was responsible for the shipping delays and even sent my parcel to multiple states, iHerb’s lack of customer support and communication made the experience even more frustrating. It was difficult to get any meaningful assistance or updates.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend choosing Australia Post delivery if you need your items by a specific date.
Weeks of Parcel Chaos, Poor Communication and No Accountability from Australia Post
Absolutely appalling experience with Australia Post. I understand that I chose to redirect my parcel, and I take responsibility for that decision, but the issues that followed were completely unacceptable and, in my opinion, were caused by a major failure in the sorting and tracking process.
I ordered a parcel in mid-June to be delivered to the Central Coast. Knowing I was going away for two weeks at the beginning of July, I didn’t want it sitting unattended at my house, potentially being stolen or making it obvious nobody was home, so I redirected it to where I would be staying in Taree.
From there, everything became a complete mess. The parcel started bouncing back and forth between the Sydney and Newcastle distribution centres. I’m not exaggerating when I say it appeared to go between the two centres around 10 times. Each time the expected delivery date wasn’t marked as delayed, it was simply extended again and again, leaving me with no idea what was actually happening.
I contacted Australia Post because I was concerned, and a case was lodged. I was told it had been manually sorted and that everything should be okay. I had since returned home, so I updated the redirection back to my Central Coast address through the app.
Despite this, the parcel continued bouncing between facilities a few more times. I checked the case details and it showed as resolved, but from my perspective nothing had actually been resolved. It was still going to Newcastle, even though parcels coming to my Central Coast address usually go through the Lisarow facility. I added a comment to the case explaining my concerns and was again told it had been manually sorted and would be fine.
Then I received a notification saying it was out for delivery, only to discover it was actually in Taree. This was extremely confusing and concerning considering the delivery address showing in the app was my Central Coast address.
I called Australia Post and, after finally getting through to someone, explained the situation. They said they would put a priority case through to the Taree mail centre, although there was no guarantee it would reach the driver in time. Shortly after that, I received a notification saying it had been delivered.
Thankfully, it ended up being delivered to a family member’s house, but this whole situation was completely stressful and unnecessary.
What concerns me most is the lack of accountability. A redirection shouldn’t result in a parcel being stuck in a loop between distribution centres for weeks. I can understand mistakes happening, but the repeated assurances that it had been fixed, while the tracking clearly showed otherwise, was incredibly frustrating.
This experience makes me wonder how often things like this happen without proper investigation or accountability. Australia Post really needs to look at their processes, because customers shouldn’t have to spend weeks chasing up a parcel and trying to explain what is happening when the tracking information already shows there is a problem.
Aussie Post is a SCAM! Do not use it!
If I only could give ZERO, I would. So, ordered stuff and awaiting delivery, sweet. I got the message the parcel is on board and will be delivered between 1:20 and 3:30, sweet. Said to my wife (who works from home) to unlock the gate and get it ready, sweet. I came back home around 12:20 and started getting my stuff ready as the delivery was a part of what I need to accomplish time sensitive project. Around 3:50 I got a message "Locked gate parcel will be ready for pick up at your nearest Post Office" had an option see image for locked gate but no image guess why, because the gate was unlocked and open. Anyway, paid 12.92 for delivery that didn't happened, had to drive in peak traffic to pick it up my self, had to wait in a long ass line and guess what the people in the line had the same issue LOL! I think that Aussie POST is running a SCAM! They are making money, we are loosing money, time and patience. Absolute ZERO for the service that didn't happened at all. Next time they will ask me to fly to Victoria and pick the the parcel my self, what an absolute puff! Complete lack of effort, complete lack of support and complete lack of competency in a simple business of delivering letters! SCAM DO NOT USE!
Quick Update. They AUS POST have asked for the feedback so I did and this his how they have responded to it "The Parcel Delivery Centre have advised they believe the driver had made an attempt but was unable to gain access to the gate." I will say this again this si why you would like to avoid this customer ripping off SCAM CENTRE.
Thank you.
What a nice day
I met this fantastic lady name Lily. She’s very friendly and help me with everything that I need to know.
Hopeless
Hopeless
Estimated delivery date completely wrong
Initially parcel was “ mis sorted “ and sent to the wrong place -?
THEN they kept advising that the “ delivery was ON TIME …….yet kept extending the DELIVERY DATE ?”
WHY are they so hopeless every single time
I wanted to rate LESS than 1 star but the system would not allow it
Finally - they construct their system so it does not allow you to leave a COMPLAINT …..
Australia post express is a joke.
Australia post is a joke. You pay a premium price to have something delivered express, yet it takes nearly a week to get to you. Once upon a time, express meant EXPRESS. I had something arrive through FedEx, all the way from America, in less time. Pick up your game Aus post.
Overpromising, underdelivering
Consistently inconsistent delivery times, always disappointed when I find out orders of mine are being delivered by AusPost.
No point paying through the nose for express postage when shipping takes the same amount of time as normal shipping. 3 days circling the airport over and over is a joke. It’s really hard as a business owner to gauge when things will arrive with AusPost when I need things through express postage.
On a couple of occasions, parcels have also been delivered to a post office instead of at my personal address, despite “Will be left in a safe place if no one is home” being displayed when viewing the parcel’s tracking process. Massive inconvenience as the post office is closed the weekends and I cannot get there during the week.
0 stars if I could, use FedEx or others if you have the option.
Wth is going on with Aust post’s…
Wth is going on with Aust post’s delivery service, ordered a couple of items online. Received one item two days ago and got an update in the app saying it’s been delayed. And the other item has been incorrectly sent to another town an hour away and supposedly resent to correct address. Still haven’t received it, hope I get it, it has nearly $300 worth of goods in it. Not happy, c’mon Aust post get your sh*t together.
Australia Post - Poor letter delivery time for re-directed mail
A friend in Sandy Bay, Tasmania 7005 re-addressed and posted three (3) important letters to our temporary address in Coolangatta, Queensland 4225 on 26th June, 2026. One (1) only of those letters was received by us yesterday 17th July, 2026. The whereabouts of other two (2) is unknown.
In summary, it has taken Australia Post 21 days ( 15 working days ) to deliver one (1) redirected letter. In our opinion, not enough attention / priority is being given to letter delivery by Australia Post, to the point of being unreliable and a poor service. Parcel delivery is much more reliable.
Thumbs down for Adelaide hills parcel delivery service
Australia Post appears to treat Adelaide Hills customers as second-class customers. People in suburban areas can generally expect parcels to arrive at their doorstep, as I did at my previous address, while Hills residents face a lottery: your parcel might be delivered, it might be carded to the nearest Post Office, or it might be sent to a completely different Post Office that’s far more difficult to reach.
We pay exactly the same postage as everyone else, yet we’re expected to spend extra time and petrol collecting parcels because Australia Post’s delivery network can’t provide a consistent service. This isn’t an occasional inconvenience, it’s an inferior level of service for regional customers who are charged the same price.
I live on a regular hills street -bitumen road that is 50km/hr. I don’t see why I our street and others in this area can’t get the same service others Adelaide residents receive.
Much improved!
Had very poor delivery service from Australia Post in North Brisbane Brighton area for years. Several complaints to Aust Post on line that were treated with disdain.
Last few months have been excellent. I believe there is a new manager in who believes in customer service and has used the whip on the delivery/dispatch area. Congratulations!
Just goes to show, it can be done. Just bad attitudes and work standards letting Aust Post down everywhere.
No delivery attempt, instead I paid to collect my parcel.
I recently had a very disappointing experience with Australia Post. I was home all day waiting for my parcel, yet there was no knock on the door and no genuine attempt to deliver it. Instead, I received a notification telling me I now have to collect my parcel from a collection point.
The most frustrating part is that I paid for a delivery service that was never actually provided. The convenience of home delivery was the reason I paid for it in the first place, and now I’m expected to spend my own time and fuel travelling to collect it myself.
Mistakes happen, but failing to attempt delivery and then shifting the inconvenience onto the customer is unacceptable. I hope Australia Post does better to ensure drivers make a genuine effort to deliver parcels before leaving collection notices. Customers should receive the service they’ve paid for.
Ordered nearly $300 worth of goods to…
Ordered nearly $300 worth of goods to arrive express post. Tracking has shown item sitting at Australia Post Mail facility for over three weeks. Australia Post won’t investigate until item is two weeks late or more. I fill out several enquiry forms and get a response in email item list sorry we can no longer assist. No phone call no investigation just lost bad luck. Absolutely disgusting.
Australia Post have lost my parcel
Australia Post have lost my parcel. Their customer service email and telephone are not manned, answering or indeed operable.
I have been a great supporter in the past but I can now understand the negative reviews.
AusPost management and directors need…
AusPost management and directors need to go and look at how efficient and quick postal deliveries are in the UK.
We have a 3rd world postal system in Australia and we pay premium costs.
It has to stop!
Sent 2 parcels from Brisbane to Perth
Sent 2 parcels from Brisbane to Perth. Sent 12 June expected 22 June. Lodged a complaint when only 1 parcel arrived on 25 June. Asked to wait until 6 July. 13 July received an email saying sorry we lost your parcel. That is it! Unbelievably bad service. Lost contents of about $1000! This is what happens when companies employ thieving employees. Absolutely appalled!! No accountability. Not even an offer to refund the delivery costs Auspost were happy to take!!!
Australia Post is the absolute worst
Australia Post is the absolute worst! I had an express parcel due today. Today. Not today / tomorrow. Just due today. Then today I check it and it still says "On time" but its due tomorrow. Their website will not let me make a complaint because its "On Time" even though its not... So in conclusion Australia Post are lying liars who lie. And paying for EXPRESS post means absolutely nothing to them... They should run for parliament.
Worst service i've ever experienced
Worst service ive ever experienced, lodged a ticket over 4 weeks ago and still no reply to the missing parcel even as a business owner you'd think some type of business service was on offer but you get zero.
