We recently had Darren Clemie from Croner deliver a Risk Assessment training session for our team, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Health and safety training isn’t always something people look forward to, but Darren managed to make what could have been a very dry subject genuinely engaging, informative and enjoyable. His relaxed, friendly approach, great sense of humour and ability to explain things in a straightforward, practical way made a real difference.

The session was interactive and encouraged everyone to get involved, ask questions and build their confidence in understanding risk assessments. Darren made sure the training was relevant to our business and gave the team practical knowledge they can take away and put into practice.

Feedback from the team was really positive, and it was great to see everyone engaged throughout the session.

Thank you, Darren, for making health and safety training such a positive experience. You made a potentially daunting subject accessible, enjoyable and worthwhile, and we look forward to working with you again!

Probably the worst company - there is better alternatives out there
They only care about money and will lie to you to make it seem like you are getting a good deal but in reality it will cost you £60 more a month

My company stopped trading in July 2026 and Croner were advised of our liquidation (set for 5th November) and given the details for our liquidators. At the time we asked to terminate the contract and they refused (despite us being with them for 6 years!) and for 6 years we were good paying customers who never missed a payment.

Instead we got over 30+ emails from them threatening us with court action, but at the end of September informed us that he had the information he needed and would contact our liquidators for any further updates, and to ignore any automated emails (so we did)
Then on 22nd October, he emailed us again, threatening that we never provided any information of the liquidaton (despite not being asked for files or documents - they only wanted the company and contact details in September) and that they were going to make both directors liable until 2031!

Honestly so unprofessional!
I could also comment about their unprofessionally in their dealing with redundancies (it took 2 1/2-3 weeks!) to start the redundancies process with them! Despite us stopping trading weeks beforehand leaving our staff confused and frustrated (along with othersdlves) and liable to further action as we couldn’t say anything to our staff until they approved everything (which took 3 weeks!!!)

I had a similar business come to me asking what HR company we used and I said to avoid Croner at all costs! I could pile up the 6 years of paperwork from them to back the unprofessional attitudes from them.

We had a visit from Steve Andrews, health & safety consultant from Croner, he was extremely helpful and his advice given was really appreciated. Good to know that we can contact him if we have any questions in the future.

Mark,is very knowledgeable on all things Health and Safety and guides us through all our legal obligations, and how to implement these for the well being of all our staff.
Help and advice on the many risks and how to avoid any unnecessary issues....and a very nice guy too ! Well done Mark.

Ian Wishart was excellent. Very knowledgeable and approachable throughout the Health & Safety review. He provided clear guidance, answered all questions thoroughly and highlighted useful resources. His support made the process straightforward. Ian was a pleasure to work with!

We have been with Croner for the last year. Have always found responses to be quick and you are able to reach some one any time which is brilliant. We had one issue with a member of staff over our terms but David quickly met us with excellent customer service and corrected the issue.

Mark was great on our 2nd visit yesterday. His knowledge and understanding are brilliant and he is also able to advise with reasonable and practical solutions. We now have a clear plan and workable structure to maintain 100% compliance.

Raj Pal has been excellent in guiding us through a recent employment tribunal. His professionalism, expertise and support throughout the process were invaluable, and he made what could have been a very stressful experience much easier to navigate. We’re extremely grateful for all his hard work and would highly recommend him.

We have had Darren since 2020 , he's always been great in his approach , supportive in any alterations or recommendations that are needed. He always makes it a relaxing visit.

Michael Williams came to my office to conduct a health and safety review. Michael was friendly with his approach and explained everything well and was clear. I was apprehensive as we did have improvements to make but Michael made the process simple and precise. I have full understanding of what I need to do going forward.
