Solid retainers

I was informed via text that my retainers were ready for shipping. I wasn’t ready for them yet as my previous retainers were not at 6 months yet. I did get other texts. I eventually did have them shipped. They came in a timely manner. I am going to need them fine tuned though. I would recommend your company. It was virtually hassle free.

This was super easy and my retainers have been a perfect fit. I’ve gotten three sets since Smile Direct closed and all three have been exactly what I needed. I didn’t have any issues ordering and they used my phone number or email to find my fittings. I was worried something would go wrong but it was smooth, smooth, smooth.

Very bad experience, they back to me as a smile direct customer, they supposed to send me the last retainers that I never received from smile direct, to finalize the alignment of my son teeth, on the end we received the retainers who does nothing ( I paid over $150) when I told them, they try to sell to me new retainers to move the teeth with the cost of almost $1,000. Be careful if they back to you. So now my son doesn’t his teeth aligned because smile direct never sent the last retainers. A waist of over $2,400. I don’t remember the right date but it’s end of 2024.

Title: Disappointing Experience with Retainers

I recently received a set of retainers and I have to say, my experience has been less than satisfactory. Right out of the box, the fit was not what I expected. Instead of the snug, comfortable fit I was hoping for, the retainers felt bulky and ill-fitting, which led to some serious discomfort.

One of the most frustrating issues was the sharp edges of the plastic. Instead of a smooth, seamless design, the retainers had rough spots that cut into the inside of my mouth, making it painful to wear them. I found myself constantly adjusting them, trying to alleviate the discomfort, but it was a losing battle. I ended up with sore spots and irritation that made it difficult to eat or even speak properly.

I believe that the manufacturers really need to address these design flaws. Softer edges would go a long way in preventing cuts and discomfort. Additionally, the fit should be more tailored to ensure that the plastic wraps around the teeth perfectly. Every mouth is different, and a bit more attention to detail in the fitting process could make a significant difference in comfort.

Overall, I was hoping for a positive experience with my retainers, but instead, I found myself dealing with pain and frustration. I would recommend that anyone considering these retainers look for options that prioritize comfort and fit, as this particular experience left much to be desired.

Did not fit and after back and forth emails was requested to send multiple pictures. I gave up. $100 down the drain. Tried to put in hot water to refit, melted the retainer.

I was very happy that they contacted me. My retainers were made very well and I’m very happy.

I ordered a clear replacement retainer and a night guard. The first package I received was an impression kit instead of my night guard and two empty retainer holders, after contacting them I then had my replacement retainers sent to me but not my night guards, finally I reached out again and I was told both sets of retainers had been delivered but they were not. I then reached out again to the company and they sent me clear retainers again and not my night guards. It’s been 3 months talking back and forth but they cannot send me the correct retainers. The customer service is very polite but I don’t understand how the orders can be messed up over and over, I don’t think I’ll ever end up getting my night guards at this point.

These retainers were ill fitting and they cut into my gums and bottom lip. They were also thinner than the ones from smile direct. They cracked and then a piece came out and left that area jagged and couldn’t be worn anymore. They didn’t last close to six months.

Supposedly they used a new laser technology to make my retainers and when it arrived it did not fit at all! It was hard. Not flexible at all. Now it’s going to delay care because it took Smile Set wayyyy longer than Dr Direct. I want my money back!

Honestly, these retainers are terrible... respectfully. They are no where near the quality and fit of retainers from Smile direct club... I dont even believe that their the correct fit or mold. I use my old retainers from smile direct club, because the Dr. Direct retainers dont hold me teeth as well. Unless fixed, im probably going to find a different vendor for my retainers moving forward

The retainers are fitting well! The only thing to change is the company taking the time to smooth out the sharp edges of the retainers.

Th Retainers are way overpriced and very cheap quality The molds that I have are even shaped differently Compared to one another. I am very, very upset and highly disappointed.

Terrible experience. 4-6 times of trying to print the retainers to fit me and they couldn’t get a set that fits so they gave up on me. Terrible customer service.
