Did not fit correctly

My bottom retainers did not fit correctly. I tried filing them down but they still dug into my back gums although I did not contact them.

I’ve tried multiple times to get a…

I’ve tried multiple times to get a retainer that actually fits and holds my current smile. Can’t get a good one. Finally I gave up because you have to wait so long for a replacement and it ends up being wrong too and you waste your money. Too expensive and yet inconvenient to not get it right. Do not recommend!

Happy with all the affordable services…

Happy with all the affordable services that are offered. The retainers and initial fine-tuning have been great. Shipping and order emails are a little confusing and should probably be better itemized and explained.

At SmileSet, we meticulously trim each retainer set to ensure optimal comfort. However, sometimes additional adjustments may be needed for the perfect fit. I recommend trimming and adjusting the problem area on your retainer slightly to improve its fit. You can use cuticle scissors to carefully trim the retainer and a clean, unused nail file to smooth any rough edges (remember to file in one direction only). Feel free to trim as much material as needed, but make sure the entire tooth surface remains covered.

Bad retainers

The set of retainers that were sent to me will let my front tooth go back to over lapping my other front tooth. I asked you to let me send you and old pair of the smile direct ones that I have but they said no. So I will not be buying any retainers from you anymore.

Order processed incredibly fast!

My order was processed incredibly fast considering it was placed in the wake of the holiday season. My retainers were nearly perfect, fitting just as the previous set from Smile Direct did. I only needed to trim and buff a little spot off the outside lower left. I will definitely order from SmileSet again!

I liked the quality of the retainer but...

I liked the quality of the retainer, and I was pleased with the prompt arrival. My problem with the retainer is that it is not comfortable. It's too big? The bottom edge is just too far down my gum, and it rubs where my gum line and bottom inner lip meet. I wish it fit better.

Dissatisfied

I received a message that no impressions would need to be done because you had my history information from Smile Direct. I then paid for the retainers and then after weeks, I was sent the impression kit. My retainers don’t fit my teeth and the top of them cut into my mouth. I am not happy with the product.

I still have not received my retainers

I still have not received my retainers. I sent in 2 impression kits and never was sent a set back.

My retainers don’t fit right. They are thick, too thick for my mouth. I’ve tried them several different times and always go back to my old ones.
