Very professional installation

Very professional installation by Nigel & Dave who were both helpful & knowledgeable. We're a working garage but they didn't cause any issues & worked around us easily so we're very happy with the service provided

Have had a brilliant service so far from Firstcome. Callum did a great job during the installation and made things very clear. Carly and the back end did a great job and everything was explained in great details. Highly recommended.

Another great experience!

Carly, Jordan and Ellie at Firstcom Europe were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They are knowledgeable, responsive, and make the entire process of renewing the contract feel easy and stress-free. Everything is explained clearly, and followed through on every detail. They are professional and friendly and it made a big difference in the overall experience. I’d highly recommend working with them if you’re looking for reliable and genuinely helpful company.

Very happy with exceptional service…

Very happy with exceptional service from Charlie in support who has been very patiently sorting out our Sharepoint / Onedrive setup. Charlie was able to work around our business needs and arrive at a successful outcome. He was very good at listening to our needs and explaining what he was doing in a way that we could understand given our IT knowledge.

Works well until it doesn’t, then zero customer support.

As a small business employing 8 people our broadband service is absolutely vital. We have now been a week with no phone or broadband service. We are piggy backing tills, computers and workshop consoles off our personal mobile phones, exceeding data plans. We can’t print receipts from the tills and everything is taking twice as long as it should. The stress increase is phenomenal, it’s our January sale! Aside from transferring our 2 phone lines to 1 staff mobile phone and reporting the fault to Openreach we have been left in the lurch. Engineers appeared during the week and said they’d found the fault about 400m away and would fix it next day, next day turned into Friday, Friday turned into ‘over the weekend’. We’ve had no response to recent emails, no offer of a loan 5G router. We pay you thousands of pounds a year and the support in this case had been nothing short of abysmal. Openreach don’t communicate with the end user, you’re their customer and you’re supposed to liase between us. We are just sat here in limbo struggling. Do better.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We fully understand how disruptive and stressful this situation has been for your business, particularly during such a critical trading period, and we’re genuinely sorry for the impact the outage has had on your day-to-day operations.

This incident formed part of a Major Service Outage (MSO) caused by an Openreach network fault, which affected multiple businesses in your local area. While MSOs are usually resolved quickly due to the number of customers impacted, on this occasion the fault proved more complex and took longer than expected for Openreach to fully rectify.

Throughout the outage, we remained reliant on updates provided by Openreach and passed these on as they were received, in line with the service level agreement for this type of broadband product. Unfortunately, Openreach does not communicate directly with end users, and their update frequency can be limited during large-scale network incidents.

We did explore alternative options during the outage, including assessing mobile data coverage in your area. Once this assessment had taken place and we were advised that Openreach wouldn’t be attending site when they originally advised they would to rectify their issue, we did send you a 5G router at our cost for the SIM, kit and delivery charges.

It’s also important to note that standard broadband services are delivered without guaranteed restoration times.

We appreciate how frustrating this experience has been and are sorry that it did not meet your expectations. Your feedback has been noted, and we’re always happy to discuss more resilient connectivity options to help protect your business against similar issues in the future.

Shout out to Ellie M at the Leasing team and also Laura L our Senior Account Manager. Both are an absolute pleasure to deal with - any queries are answered swiftly and they clearly go out of their way to ensure the very best customer care is delivered. Overall to date the team at firstcom have been fantastic ! We continue to use there services for several sites and have just renewed for another term. After some horrific experiences with BT, they have restored my faith in the telecoms industry. Bravo ! Gary (Professional Carers)

Absolutely outstanding service

Absolutely outstanding service. We’ve used this company for years and they never disappoint, but this latest phone system upgrade was genuinely faultless. Every member of the team — sales, coordination, and engineers — was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout.

We expected at least some downtime during the installation, but there was zero disruption to our working day. The engineers did a fantastic job and everything was completed smoothly and efficiently.

Special thanks to Carly and Luke, who were both brilliant to deal with and made the whole process easy by answering every question quickly and clearly. I would 100% recommend this company.

Great communication and seamless switchover

We are a small preservation company based in the North East and have been with Firstcom for a number of years now. Our communication services are vital to our workflow and day to day running of the company. With recently moving to a new premises this is always a daunting task porting communication services, but the whole process has been enjoyable and seamless. Callum our on site engineer has been an absolute delight. Very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful in explaining how our new systems work and the back end portal system, which allows us to make changes ourselves. The whole process has been a positive experience and can't thank everyone involved enough. Especially our main man Callum :). Was a pleasure dealing with you all.

Exceptional service

From start to finish our experience of this company in the installation of our new telephone system has been amazing.

New phone system…

We have just had new phones installed and would like to thank Firstcomms for their excellent company service. Ashley and Ellie provided all the necessary information and kept us informed of the progress of the installation. We would also like to thank Joe and George who installed the phones system. They were both courteous and respectful when working around the school and explained how the phone system worked. The made sure we were happy with the installation and who to contact for any queries or help we may need. Thankyou Firstcomms

Just a quick thanks to the lovely Charlotte, she picked up my installation half way through as the other person left the company.
Charlotte was very helpful and always a pleasure to deal with,she thought out of the box to check our system before cutting off the analog line saving us from what could have been a disaster.
