One of my small websites was hacked, but it took my host forever to diagnose, and by then it was riddled with malware. Bluehost pushed hard to have us pay SiteLock to fix it, but a few hours of research and I was alarmed at how many people had negative experiences with their potentially "scamm-y" behavior. I found a thread where Astra was recommended, and took a leap of faith that they would be straight up and not hold me hostage like it seems so many other companies do.

ASTRA CAME THROUGH 100% They were affordable, human, and helpful, and navigated the complexities of the issue even when Bluehost flat out refused to provide them with the tools they needed (I am guessing Bluehost were having a hissy fit that I didn't use SiteLock). They figured out a work around and cleaned my site within 48 hours. Their follow through and follow up was amazing.

When something like this happens, it can be really overwhelming, so it feels great to know there are good people out there who truly want to help. Now I just need a good recommendation on an ethical hosting service!

Having suffered multiple attacks from all over the world, we were recommended to contact Astra by our Web developer. Their service was amazing and SO fast. They neutralised the treats and gave us very clear input as to how to improve our Cyber security, they are VERY reasonably priced with fixed band costing. They also stepped up and went way above expectations this weekend when our web site crashed due to a hosting problem. Although it was not their remit, they found a solution and implemented it in the early hours of SUNDAY morning!! This saved us lost business over the weekend! I cannot thank them enough for their outstanding Customer Service. We are now in a very reasonable contract with Astra, I would recommend them as FIRST PORT OF CALL for any cyber security issues!

Our website got malware attack on 10/15/2018 That was Horrible Horrible Horrible !!!! anyway,The most biggest companies(sucur** , Como** ) were saying like it should be fix it within 12hr or 4hr so I trusted damm sales person.
The funny thing is the customer service!! On the livechat, they gave me same answer like our website is so messed up and please leave them to fix issue~ EVEN already passed 1day or 2days.... long story short!!! they never made it and they kept lied to me. so I was very very disappointed..
However, I finally find ASTRA company.. They said they can fix this issue within 24 hr but I couldn't trust them cause of my previous experience! But I had no choice.. so.....I decided to trust one more company..
Do you know what is the result??? THEY FIXED ALL OF MY ISSUE ON THE WEBSITE WITHIN 12HR!! They were not Big Mouth like them and then They kept the promise

The response rate was great, they removed > 200 malicious files from our server and requested a re crawl via Google search console getting our site and search results back on track within 24-48 hours. It's rare these days to find an online company so ready to communicate with their clients – and not just for sales. After a good deal of online research into a third party WAF (web application firewall) security partner for my wordpress websites Astra were the stand out winners. Real people with real knowledge immediately available on livechat – and I'm beginning to wonder if they go to bed! I needed to talk to them late in the afternoon (GMT) and again at 07.30am GMT today - still there and still helping.
You just can't fool around with website security – especially with Wordpress, which is a wonderful tool but seemingly irresistible to the hacker community. Having Astra on my side helps me sleep at night – even if they don't. A great level of security, fair and competitive pricing and really well thought out user interface on their own site.
