Great company - highly recommended. Four years ago, Green Pulse energy installed our solar panels and batteries. All went well. Great immediate after care service, eg they guided me through how to apply for MCS and the export tariff. Three years later, they patiently supported us over the phone when we thought there was a fault in the system, however it turned out it was a power supply issue in the local area. Thanks Erin. Any minor issue, they are there to guide you through it, such as today when I just needed to change the AA batteries in the solar iBoost sender. If you phoned up most companies on a Friday afternoon at 4:45pm you might not even get your call answered. Big shout out to Paul! Thank you.

Brilliant company; beginning with full information of benefits, drawbacks, "packages", explanation of installation through to completed installation. The aftercare has been amazing and remains so 4 years on.

Really good, the installation went smoothly and so far so good. We had a slight problem when we changed internet suppliers and lost connection to the app. Paul helped me to reconnect and I must say he has the patience of a saint!

Very good service – fast, professional, and responsive. There were a few minor hiccups, but everything was sorted quickly and efficiently. The electrician even offered to complete the installation on Good Friday, which was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

Green Pulse Energy provided a positive experience with the installation of a Tesla EV charger. Jamie conducted a free survey to assess the feasibility of the installation. The pricing was reasonable, comparable to competitors, and involved a payment plan with half due upfront and the other half after the installation. Jonny, the installer, was friendly and patient, answering numerous questions. Overall I was happy with the service and I would consider using their services again.

Very helpful when I needed technical support to reconnect a data logger after a broadband switch. Paul took the time to understand the issue and contacted the supplier multiple times to get a solution that worked and followed up with a courtesy call to make sure everything was connected.

I had a SolarEdge system installed 2.5 years ago by GPE. After the inevitable setup tweaking issues were resolved, I had a system that effectively took me off grid for 10 months of the year and is still on track to pay for itself 5 years after install with 50% of power generated exported to the grid.
I recently decided to upgrade the system by adding a second 10KWH battery and an auto switch to run circuits in the event of a power cut.
Paul very quickly came to the property, and we agreed his quote. Just a couple of weeks later it was installed.
Did it go 100% smoothly, No, but Paul was always on the case, keeping me in the loop and pushing SolarEdge to make the minor admin adjustments so I ended up with a system that operated how I wanted it. A marvellous job done by Paul and Jonathon the installer has left me with a system that works very effectively and I highly recommend GPE.

The actual work undertaken by Green Pulse has been perfectly acceptable.
However, failing to include a bird proofing mesh in the original contract is not.
I had pigeons nesting under the panels for a year and finally the frustration of cleaning up every day prompted me to look into what to do about it.
I was informed that birds can damage the installation and that I should definitely correct the situation.
A quote for this included a price of £600 for the mesh and £600 for the installation.
It was an expensive mistake for not including it in the original works.
In conclusion I feel that I was taken advantage of, both for the price of the mesh (£600 for 25m x 0.3m of mesh) and for Green Pulse taking no responsibility for their lack of putting bird proofing in my original contract.
Warning. Don't assume that your best interests are being looked after by Green Pulse Energy.
After receiving a response to this review I can now add that my expectation in my original contract was that bird proofing would be included. GPE did not discuss a removal or omission of bird proofing from that contract. If it so important, why was it not brought to my attention at the time.
I spoke to the contractor at the time of installation. I was waived away with excuses about it not being feasible, and wasn't in his directives. Clearly, I was being fobbed off as GPE was happy to undertake the task with another new contract.
So, my original critical review still stands, and I still feel let down by the company.
Therefore I will now reduce my 3* to a 2*.

I had my solar panels installed 2 years ago, shortly after they were installed there was a problem so I contacted Green Pulse whilst walking my woofs upon returning to the house a Green Pulse van was outside! What an Amazing response. This year I was contacted by Paul as a follow up, I explained I had changed my broadband and was having issues logging onto to SolisCloud. Immediately, he suggested he would come over to my house and help resolve the issue, which he did. I then decided to have some batteries installed a few days after installation Paul was again checking everything was working okay. I had a few questions which he happily answered. I have been extremely impressed with Paul and with the overall work ethic of this company.

Great follow up customer service today. We changed our broadband provider to full fibre which required resetting the wifi n
and dongle on the Give Energy system. Helpful conversations with Paul put me on track and I got the system reset using the Givinstaller app. Paul kindly followed up with a remote monitoring review of the system which was very helpful.

Excellent service! Had a tweak to my solar system with a change of invertor and switch install encase of power outage. Paul Mason has been fabulous! His dedication to his clients is second to none and his taught me quite a lot over the last couple of weeks! Thank you Paul x

I had an issue with my battery two years after it had been installed. I spoke to Paul Mason who was extremely helpful in liaising with GivEnergy. Paul was very professional and continued to monitor my systems performance for a few days to make sure everything is running as it should. I would certainly recommend Green Pulse Energy for any installation and the aftercare (which customers don't always get), is very much there to assist and fix any issue you may have putting the customer's mind at rest.

In January 2023 I became locked into a 2 year contract with EDF at 72.2 pence per unit, and was quoted over £100,000 fine should I want to leave early. My only alternative was to invest in Solar Panels to reduce my monthly EDF bill, the system was installed in September 2023 during a good spell of weather, all the Green Pulse Staff were very helpful.
Forward to 11.2.2025 I received a call from Paul Mason that an alarm had been noted regarding my batteries, following a period of dull weather.
It was the first time I had had contact with Paul.
The following afternoon Paul took the time and trouble to talk me through how to resolve the issue. I felt guilty because I am so useless when it comes to technology. I am very grateful to the time and patience Paul showed me.
