I went to Martin Lewis' site to help me with choosing the right mortgage. He recommended that if you need something in particular that you use a broker and gave a list of brokers that help you for free. I contacted Habito and from the second that Vanessa messaged me via email I felt I was in excellent hands. She found a solution for me that was perfect she even advised me on something that could lower the interest rate of the mortgage which no other broker has ever mentioned to me before. I felt absolutely safe in her hands, no pressure at all. She replied straight away to any questions I had and everything was completed via email. I rarely put recommendations on here but I really cant tell you how easy this process has been. I remember my last mortgage application where I was on the phone for nearly 3 hours and it was awful. I have asked Vanessa to contact me in 6 mths time for further advice on other products that I am interested in.
Please consider Habito if you are unsure and overwhelmed like I was, you wont be disappointed.

I found the Habito team readily available, flexible and thorough with us. We initially started out looking to remortgage on our current home but made the decision that we wished to sell.

Our broker, Sameer was available at all sorts of hours through the web chat and was happy to explain everything to us. If he was off on leave there was always someone available to jump into the chat and answer any questions that we had.

Once we had agreed on a product and checks had been carried out we had Sharlene help close the deal. She kept us informed in a timely and friendly manner, helping reduce stress in what can be a stressful situation.

The Habito website was clean, modern and easy to understand. You could upload documents from your phone without too much hassle at all. I imagine it could be built into the Monzo app in the near future for further ease.

When it comes to remortgaging, I’d happily use Habito again.

Seb has been really helpful throughout the mortgage process, keeping us updated and answering all our questions along the way. He took the time to understand our circumstances and find a mortgage that worked for us.

I’ve had a really positive experience with Habito, particularly with Becky and Kyndra.

My remortgage became unexpectedly complicated due to delays with the legal process, and they have both been incredibly helpful, responsive and proactive throughout.

Becky took the time to understand the situation and found a sensible temporary solution with my existing lender to protect me while the main remortgage is being completed. She explained everything clearly, answered all my questions quickly and made what was becoming a very stressful situation much easier to manage.

Kyndra has also been great, keeping in touch and helping with the NatWest side of the process.

Very disappointing experience. Our application was passed between around five advisers, important details about our circumstances were recorded incorrectly, and my business bank account was missed despite Revolut being discussed in the chat.

When the lender then couldn’t reconcile my self-employed income, nobody identified that the account containing a substantial amount of my business turnover was missing. I wasn’t even included in the discussions initially, despite the queries being about my finances.

Poor communication, lack of continuity and attention to detail throughout.

Great service accessed through the Monzo app. The advisor, Seb, was really helpful and transparent, helping us to find a new deal for our mortgage. We also appreciated the free protection advice call which made our options super clear.

This is my second time using Habito, first for my initial shared ownership mortgage and now for my remortgage.

On both occasions, Antra has made the process feel easy. She clearly explained the process, the options and her recommendations. I felt able to make an informed decision about my mortgage and when I selected my option the next steps through to completion felt smooth. Moreover, when a better deal popped up - Antra & the team recommended a switch before the final confirmation.
