Poor communication
As previously addressed by other clients. We have found communication to be extremely poor. Our daughter’s referral was made on the 14th January 2026, all forms were completed by parents, school, and my daughter quickly. I emailed for confirmation that she was on the list. Got a reply in April asking about email addresses and forms. I replied requesting to know if they had received the completed forms as we have done them all. I have had no reply since April. I have emailed again today. Hoping that we will hear something soon. We are approaching the 28 week time frame stated on the website. I just hope we have the positive experience of assessment as those rating 5* because so far this has not been our experience.

Overall fantastic, early communication needs improvement
The clinicians we dealt with for ADHD were brilliant, clearly knowledgeable, experienced and we felt well supported throughout.
Communication is lacking in the early stages, which is why I put 4 stars. If they sent an acceptance email to say, 'we've received all the required documents and your child is assessment ready, we'll get in touch as soon as an appointment date is available. Your rough wait time is: XXXXXX', this would make a huge difference to parents and would stave off the many many emails and phone calls to check.
Parents are worrying that HH don't have all the info they need or the referral hasn't gone through correctly and most have already been waiting many months or years and don't want to run the risk of the new referral not having started.
Once we had an appointment date, everything went very smoothly and communication was significantly better.
Edit: Just wanted to add, I'm in a very large RTC Facebook group where many many other parents report the same issue with lack of communication with HH, I don't feel it was a one-off error and unless it's a very recent thing, other parents did not receive an automated email either

I also want to thank you for highlighting your experience during the early stages of your referral. You've made an excellent point about the reassurance that an assessment-ready confirmation email can provide. Parents have often waited a long time to reach this stage, so not knowing whether everything has been received can understandably create unnecessary worry.
In your case, there was unfortunately an issue with one of our automated communications, which meant that the usual confirmation email wasn't sent. I'm pleased to say this has since been identified and resolved, so families should now receive confirmation when their child becomes assessment ready. We hope this will provide greater reassurance while they await an appointment.

My daughter was assessed for Autism by Held Health. The process was great and all of the professionals we met with were friendly and informative. The only thing that was a minor issue is that making contact can be difficult via phone.

I approached my GP back in May 25…
I approached my GP back in May 25 regarding a referral for my son to Held Health via RTC. The application was submitted in June 25 and I heard nothing for around 10/11 months. I contacted the office regularly by phone and email and got zero response. I was beginning to think it wasn’t even a legitimate company until one day a lovely lady named finally Vicki picked up the phone and apologised profusely for the issues I had experienced. From that point on, things have moved exceptionally quickly and we are now mid way through the assessment/diagnosis process for ADHD/ASD. Everybody who I have interacted with so far has been kind, professional, friendly and thorough. We have a way to go, but hopefully will have our diagnosis meeting early July.
Meanwhile, my son has been on the waitlist for assessment with CAMHS via his school for 3 years and there is still no end in sight!
I highly recommend Held Health and so far I am very impressed with their assessment process.
