Citro Reviews 

A good experience so far. I have just recently received my Citro card and had a lovely young man contact me to explain exactly how I can use the card, and he told me that they had put $50 credit on there (bonus!) for me to use wherever I want. He was very helpful and polite and told me I could message him anytime if I had any questions at all.

The easy and explanation of how citro works

I decided to sign up because it was being endorsed by Denis Drysdale, Kate Langbroek and Julia Morris. Id like to think we can trust them. Just had a call from Josh who set up my card and now I have $50 to spend. Everything is simple to navigate and I look forward to using it. I also know I can delink my account at any time if I need to.

It was a pleasure dealing with her and I really appreciated her support.

If you are thinking about getting this card - Don't! I used it for products at Chemist Warehouse and Temu both of which they refused to pay the expected discount. They also would not pay the advertised $50 sign-up bonus and the $50 advertised credit when they didn't pay within 7 days! After these experiences I withdrew my banks debit arrangement. The so called celebrities who promote this useless concept should be embarrassed by their association! If you are thinking of using this card I have one word for you - RUN !

Josh took me patiently through setting things up and answered all my queries. With $50 start up and an extra $30 in a couple of weeks due to a promotion I’m stoked.

Great follow-up and customer service

I have been trying to have a conversation with Josh about the Citro card for a few weeks now - unfortunately "life" was always holding me up and I was unable to talk at the specified time. JOSH was very understanding and we just kept on changing times until FINALLY one worked.. thanks so very much for that...

Another scam promoted by celebrities. Doesn't deserve a single star.

I spent over $300 on wines from Virgin Wines, which is a partner merchant on Citro. No cash back. The reason? I had to read the fineprint.

Want rewards? Use your credit card.

I'm closing my account. Warn your friends.

Be warned this is not a card you need big corporate scam to get your money🤬
Please don’t waste you time or money if you make a mistake your bank won’t cover you and Citro don’t care all they want is your money be warned us older people have enough scams thrown at us to try and get our money this is just another one. I hope this card dies a natural death don’t do it!!!!!!

I did not get the signup reward promised.
I have not received cashback into my super as promised. I have purchased two big ticket items which promised cash back when bought through their promos and have not received ash back. T28he activity always said no Cashback.

I have just had over $300 stolen from my account in unauthorized transactions and have been told I have to Google and contact the merchants that took my money before Citro will investigate.
What an absolute load of crap.
Do yourself a favour and don't use them!
You can only contact them during business hours, you can't unlink your account all you can do is freeze the card.
It's not worth the hassle for the pissy amount of cashback you receive.
Stick to Flybuys and everyday rewards.
I wouldn't recommend these guys to my worst enemy!

This is why you should read reviews !! Thank you to those other reviewers on here who told their stories and convinced me to not apply for a Citro Card. Obviously false advertising, getting all those 'celebrities' to say how great the card is. They probably don't actually have one but got paid nicely for the advertisement. Thank you also to the reviewers who said that all the positive reviews are about their newsletter not the card. Don't waste your time!!

Appalling customer service.
Three phone calls and two emails to get a response to a query regarding a refund for a purchase made with my Citro card.

I signed up to this “rewards” card that was supposed to give you cash back with purchases etc
It did not fully explain how it worked until you’re actually signed up and have your bank account linked to it. Info was very limited. I used this card for 2 purchases. I got home & my bank had blocked my card, believing in possible fraud. Had to call the bank explaining the new citro card was used that’s linked to my bank account and they suggested to cancel & block it. Famous actors on ad’s recommending a product that they obviously know nothings about but just securing a paid promotion job. Do not recommend. I now have no bank card for 7 days til a new one comes.

Interesting that all the so called 5 star reviews are about the newsletter. All the 1 star reviews are for the card itself. Dont be conned in by them using celebrities in the advertising. It’s part of AMP.

I love the variety of articles, some apply, some not some are very thought provoking & some really make u think …
I have also learnt stuff I didn’t know existed eg all the different shopping apps…Thanks so much
