In a panic I agreed to pay them the pennies they wanted to locate my phone.
Never located it at all total rubbish.
Have since taken out 3 different figures out of my account mostly £19.95
Totaling £160.64!!!!!
I have sent them a message and pray I get a refund.
Just not on at all.

If they're still taking the money from your bank each month if your bank has on the app subscriptions on or off turn it off and it' stops!!! them taking the money each month...

Please I need help, how do I contact them to stop ripping me off £19.99 monthly. Please help, thank you

Scam It charges 19.95 after the first 24hrs then you have subscribed

SCAM ALERT. Was told to use this service, so didn't suspect anything. Paid what I thought was a one off fee £19.99, that has been debited from my account monthly - and they didn't locate my phone.

Raised issue with them. Aside from 50p initial fee I have now had all payments refunded to me, which tbh, was the most straightfotwt refund ever. One email to customer service, and a reply letter explaining the terms, with a promise to refund, which went through earlier than I was told it would.

Hi ~ Agree ~ They are a rip off and charge 19.95 a month !!!! Beware. How do I contact them to cancel as my bank says that's the only way to cancel the payments !! Help !

Did not help locate my phone at all, kept giving me my current location, stressed to the max to loose my phone and this stupid expensive site cost valuable time and money

This company is a scam.see on the website that it cost 50 pence to find your phone but now I have been charged 19.95 twice and they didn't find my phone. Absolutely useless

What another big rip off scan!! And no, they never show you where you phone is, just somewhere in UK. How they get away with this I'll never know. How do this rip off company sleep??

Complete rip off do not use this co. if you don't cancel within 24hours you get charged £19.95 pcm straight off your debit card. Did manage to call them and get it stopped and 1 month refund

Don't use. They take a months money after promising a 24 hour trial - as soon as the 24 hours is up. It's a rip off preying on the anxiety you have when you lose your phone, but believe me, this won't help you find it!

What an absolute rip off...please read all the reviews as a company they are an absolute disgrace, advertise a payment of 50p then 24 hours later take £19:95 contacted them to ask for a refund, they then asked for a screenshot of my bank statement please do not do this, I have contacted my bank and blocked them. Obviously no refund from Locatemyphone.. Update 04-01-21 Money refunded to my ACCOUNT Thank You

This is an absolute rip off.they get you to pay 0.50p for a 24 hour period.and pay through pay pal you then get billed £19.95 a month subscription if you don't cancel. even if you do cancel they still charge the first months subscription you have no way of cancelling it. So it has cost you £20.45 for an absolute useless app that does not even work.Avoid at all costs.

WARNING SCAMMER if you have already used this service beware i payed the initial 50p and a day later they took £19.95 from my account hopefully I will get it back .
And you didn't locate my phone.

if i could give 0 stars i would, rip off merchants should be illegal and probably is.
STAY AWAY...

Much the same as all the other reviews...Charged me 50p for very poor/useless advice ie no chance of finding the phone....then a further £19.95, which to be fair is mentioned, but is not prominent or clear. When you are in a mad rush to find your phone, the £19.95 is very easily missed. Also should mention that my credit card immediately had a hold put on it after paying the 50p....One more addition, following an email to the company they have said they would issue a refund for the £19.95....so perhaps not so much of a scam as a company that struggles to match its name.

Misleading Webpage, beware
They never located my phone, charged me 2 x 50p and then 2 x£19.95 (which is taken monthly) within 24 hours as I hadn't cancelled the contract. Not something you think of when you have lost a phone. After discussing this with them they have agreed to refund one amount of £19.95 - lets see if it arrives. Please don't be caught out like i was :( Please note they also use a local number.

SCAM!!! Disgusting people and practices. Just wondering how the website still exists as it needed to be banned.
