TOTAL SCAM - DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE SCAM- They say it is 50p but then take £19.95 out of your account after 24 hours without any notifications

Absolutely appalling scam. Pay 50p for a service which simply uses the existing - and free - Google system. Get no result from that and the next day be charged £19.99 for a month's unrequested and useless membership.
Then, use their so-called "Support Service" and get nothing but pre-prepared email blurb and - worse - call their 01253530328 phone number and have them cut off before you are even able to speak. Then they cancel all your paid credit with immediate effect.
Read all of the previous reviews - I wish I had - and do not add your hard earned cash to this disappointing money making racket. If, like me, money has already been taken from you, contact your Bank or PayPal to make them aware of the scam and try to recover your losses.

My wife had her mobile stolen and i registered with Locatemyphone. Service offered was'nt what I was expecting after paying 50p. A further £19.95 was debited from my bank which I did not see anywhere highlighted on the site. No T&Cs available at the time and called and the number just rang out. Blocked future payments with my bank. Contacted Locatemyphone by email and they refunded the £19.95 . Read the T&Cs first!

No stars just a scam am reporting to police for fraud - a lesson learned!

Took £30 out of my account, has been reported to the fraud department, Santander, resulting in my card having to be cancelled.

Stole money from my account never did find my phone SCAMMER they should be shut down

Dont trust this company. I was to pay £5 but ended up paying £30 and they still didny locate my phone.
This company is a pure scam.

I too tried to pay the 50p as stated only to find they took £29.95 out my account and did not manage to find the phone - ROBBERS

My husband misplaced his phone which was on silent so no way of finding it, I went onto Locate my phone and it claimed it had located the phone, I paid the fee as a one of with a subscription I could and have cancelled. What a joke, to find your phone they sent you a text to the phone that is missing that you have to enter on the website to locate your missing phone. DO NOT USE THIS SITE IT, IT IS TOTALLY MISLEADING

Completely missleading! Yes they advertized 50p but took £29.99. Have left numerous messages with their customer services to request a refund with no success. I have now asked my credit card company to reclaim the money. Very sharp practice!

I opened an account to find my daughter's lost phone thinking the 50p it states is all it would cost. 2days later a transaction of £29.95 was taken from my account.
I emailed them straight away with my concerns, I didn't hear anything back.
I have received an email today (4days later)
Saying sorry to see you go, your account is now closed .
I rang customer services in which they told me my account has been closed and money will be refunded 👌
I asked why it states 50p then cost £29.95, he said the 50p is a 2 day trial !!
I've given 3 stars because at least they have the decency to give the money back instead of claiming terms and conditions bull@#£t !! They should make it more clear that it will be extra if you don't cancel !

They said 50p to locate my phone i don't even used their services they stole £29.95 from my account without the location of my phone. I Will not forgave them, they are bad people

Stole £29.95 from my account after signing up for 50p. They took it straight out if my account no warning and I cancelled my account immediately. No reply to my emails either.

After leaving my review I called my bank and they have stopped my bank card so no further payments will get taken. We need to fight these gangsters.

I can't understand why this company still working because first complain on this website dated July 2016. I have been charged 29£ too. Before realising that I was contacted by my bank. but as I admitted using them, bank didn't refund me 29£ and money already left account on that point. But my bank stopped next monthly payments to this dodgy company. Bank advised contact them myself for refund. What I did but no refund.
