I bought a xl sirloin
I bought a xl sirloin
Firstly the price…. Doesnt look cheap but i got 22 x 8-10oz steaks plus 2 portions trimmed diced steak for stroganoff and trimmings for my 2 dogs . It worked out at £3.60 per steak without anything else.
Secondly the quality…. Marbled fat all the way through, not alot of trimming to do and great beef colour. Cooks to perfection with a fantastic taste and you dont need a steak knife to cut through it.
Thirdly the service… arrives very well packaged, on time , on the day you select with plenty of notifications.

Updated: My Mistake — Everything Was Correct
Update: Resolved I originally believed I had been overcharged by £10 on my order, but after Meat Supermarket checked the order history it turned out the pricing was correct and the error was mine. I’m happy to take responsibility for that and have adjusted my review accordingly.
The steaks were very good had fat on and all temps spot on, the delivery was good also.
I will adjust my rating to 5 star once the over paid problem has been resolved.

Already posted a review but a £50 sirloin should AT LEAST look like that cut of meat. 1/2 kg of hard, waxy fat that was fed to the birds = £12.50. Very expensive bird food. I minced the rest up for burgers. Will not be buying again from you. Please remove me from your email list.

I ordered a 2kg sirloin roasting joint…
I ordered a 2kg sirloin roasting joint and wasn't expecting 1/2 a kg to be hard, waxy fat. I'm not talking about the cap, that's to be expected but sirloin is a lean cut of beef, not this suet lump.
That's my last purchase from this bunch. I'll bite the bullet and stick with the local butcher from now on, a bit more expensive but without the extra rubbish included.
Edit: just cut off a piece and pan fried it - shoe leather
