Quite shocking really. I had a text on my phone. Saying this company written to me a while ago, ( No you did not) even gave me a ref number in the text. Anyway I contacted them straight away. They asked for my name I was reluctant at first but for security reasons. As soon as I told them my name and phone number there agent said Sorry this is not you and we will take you off our system. So how in the first place did you get my number to send me the text. And what was it about. This has to be a scam. Be very wary of this company. Something doesn't quite add up... Very concerned individual...

I settled a claim with them and paid the settlement using the reference provided. They chased payment. I provided evidence of paying and they ignored my messages and emails and issued an N244 for the full claim with 30 days to pay before I had a permanent CCJ. I tried and failed to speak to them to check their records. The front line staff listen and but are powerless to do anything except message their litigation team internally. And the litigation team never respond. So I paid the full claim (in effect paid again) in the hope their automated systems would remove the CCJ and 4 weeks later it still hasn't. I have issued a letter before action and now going to sue them for damages. Not just cowboys but deliberately negligent. Going to try to get the ombudsman involved too.

Spoke to Julie C today and just wanted to say she was excellent on the phone - courteous, clear, and dealt with the address update on my account efficiently and without any fuss. Easy to talk to and helpful considering the circumstances.

The one frustration sits with the firm's setup rather than the staff: there's no monitored email channel - messages to the published address (help@) auto-bounce as 'not monitored' and direct you to the portal or telephone. Arduous and seems shady as you are relying on their systems to keep a record of your correspondance for legal matters, and it's a shame because Julie was exceedingly helpful. A monitored inbox would make a real difference.

Hopefully the rest of the matter is handled with the same professionalism.

Incredibly poor.

No letters sent! Then had the audacity to send claim letters and court proceedings with zero evidence delivered to my address.

Unbelievably poor claim management and bullying.

Couldn't speak to anyone who spoke English or understood what was happening.

Very poor debt collection. Looks like on companies house they have had all new directors from poor claim management and bullying. Company number 15069347

As usual with these companies not interested in the truth or behaving in a manner that makes their mistakes dealt with. Just divert, no manager available, we don't accept calls other than for payment.
WELL WHAT ABOUT WHEN SOMEONE HAS PROOF THEY PAID THE PARKING ON THE DAY IN THE APP AND YOUR CLIENT NCP CR PARKS HAS MADE FALSE CLAIMS.

Ok how can anyone get a parking ticket for been stuck in traffic as a lorry has Brocken down in front of you and you cannot move.took me to court without any communication ,forced to pay infull of £305 as a ccj was threatened .paid still got a ccj ,complete scum

Ropey company dealing with historic debts from parking tickets from 4 years ago. Cowboys. Don't provide any form of contact.. Only via the portal won't discuss any aspect of the ticket. Just the debt. The fact they have failed to see the original ticket was completely unenforceable and was happy to take on the debt means they are also ambulance chasing scumbags.

I am writing this review as the formal Power of Attorney (POA) and Authorised Representative for a vulnerable individual with dyslexia. Our experience with Moorside Legal has been deeply concerning, bordering on professional misconduct.

Despite providing a formal Authorization Letter and a Notice of Conditional Acceptance (NOCA) in November 2025, Moorside Legal has failed to address fundamental legal requirements. Specifically:

Breach of Equality Act 2010: After being notified of the Defendant’s disability, this firm appears to have "hard-blocked" my representative email address. This is a blatant failure to make reasonable adjustments and an obstruction of lawful representation.

Lack of Standing (Deed of Assignment): They have repeatedly failed to provide a Deed of Assignment or Notice of Assignment under the Law of Property Act 1925 s.136. Without proving the "Chain of Title," they have no legal standing to enforce this alleged debt.

Disclosure Failures: They have ignored a 56-day-old request for the unredacted Landowner Authority. Under Pre-Action Protocols, they are required to provide the evidence they rely upon; their silence suggests the evidence does not exist.

Unjust Enrichment: They are attempting to add a £70 "bolt-on" fee without any contractual breakdown or proof of genuine administrative loss.

We have now issued a Final Ultimatum. If Moorside Legal continues to ignore the POA and fails to remove the communication blocks, we will be escalating this to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and filing an N244 Application for an Unless Order in the County Court.

Treating vulnerable individuals with automated threats while blocking their legal representatives is not "legal service"—it is a breach of SRA Principles.

Moorside Legal Services are a complete hash!! From the point of contact all the way through was terrible. My daughter is away and I need to deal with a Civil National Business Centre claim on her behalf. So to deal with this on her behalf she sent them a email to give me access. The email address they gave me help@ and Customer@ are both not manned but they gave me these addresses to email! Half hour waiting on the phone to be told-computer says no! They need striking off! Finally I have paid through the portal the payment has gone through but it paused at the end not saying this is successful I did get a email through saying it was paid but I am now trying to login and the portal wont let me login. I can safely say I hate this company and its not just because it a fine situation they are crooks!

My mum just got charged 300$ from this lot, we live in Australia and have never left the country, we don't know who they are or what they do, also a similar transaction from deliveroo London GB.

This stinks of a card sciming fraud and y'all should not pay them and contact your bank right now, if they send any links don't open them

Today I won and Moorside legal lost along with the parking company who use them UKCPS. Hopefully more people will stand up !!!

I paid on 16.04.2026 the amount of 67.72 pounds but this does not appear deducted from the total amount I have to pay! I want to know why and where the money I planted, with the card, and using the reference number disappeared?
This company continues to threaten me with the court but from what I see they are thieves! I can't wait to get to court with them and see what a judge will say!

I am unsure whether I need to pay this imaginary parking fine , as I don’t want a CCJ , I have cleared my credit score over 10 years and would be so disappointed if this affected my score .
Have they ever took anybody to court ?m

A disgraceful company, despite having paid the parking ticket they progress with a court case even though I had confirmation from them that the ticket had been settled. They insisted that I rectify it myself with the court as it was their error. I will be taking this further through the Legal Ombudsman and the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Not sure yet if it’s damaged my credit score

Sent of muppets. Wouldn't even give me a email address so I could be compliant with my court submissions. Guy gave some false name and wouldn't let me speak to a manger. Jokers.

Thought my experience with this company was a one off. Having read other reviews clearly not. Contacted them after receiving a fine for non payment of fuel. Photographic evidence clearly shows me entering the fuel station after fueling. Paid for fuel, cash, but didn't get receipt (wont do that again). Disputed this but ended up agreeing to pay fine. Paid by faster payment and they are claiming they didn't receive it as payment failed. Sent payment advice and statement showing payment having been made, not failing not returned. Yet they are still chasing. Bank also confirmed payment made. To be honest I am looking forward to court if they take me as they threaten at every opportunity they get. Surely a regulator needs to stop this company trading. The sooner the better...

Had to pay £170 for parking for 2 mins at Gatwick. Sent me multiple letters threatening me and refused me an affordable payment plan. Until i screamed down the phone then miraculously they let me do it over 6 months! False advertising from them on the letter, bunch of scumbags who are useless

People keep complaining about Moorside Legal, but I really don’t see the issue. They’re definitely not the absolute bottom feeders of the legal profession with paralegals breaching Mazur left, right and centre. The SRA have regulated them, so there’s obviously nothing to see here, right? An absolutely poverty level “law” firm, and unashamedly permitted by the SRA.

My case so far with UKCPS's "Law firm" made it to mediation a couple of weeks ago.

Even though I have written confirmation from the land manage that my car is on their exemption list as well as receipt of purchase of a second parking pass, for the second vehicle - all of which can be verified with a single call from either Moorside or UKCPS to their client, the land manager.

They ignored all these facts, offered me a discount (which I refused to pay a single penny) and continued to proceed to court. (Date to be confirmed)

My advice is NEVER give an inch to this law firm.

But make sure you show up to court. They rely on no-shows and wins by default in order to remain in business.
