Delivery took longer than expected
Delivery took longer than expected. Stated 5-10 working days on website. Came on the 13th working day. I ordered a cot, they kept blaming yodel till I found out it hadn’t been dispatched from their warehouse in order for yodel to pick it up. Approached customer service but did nothing until the 10th day.

I was looking for a pressure fit baby…
I was looking for a pressure fit baby gate but couldn't find one with the right width. Found one from Oliver's baby care that was ideal. Ofcourse I was dubious ordering from company I hadn't heard of, but couldn't fault the experience. Order arrived quickly and as described. Wouldnt hesitate to order from again and nice to have made my purchase from a lesser known business.

Order never arrived, waited one month.
My husband ordered the Maxi Cosi Oxford bundle on the 21st of April for £750, which was in stock and stated it would take 3-5 working days on the website to be delivered. Since the 28th of April we have been chasing for updates from the customer care team, where we were told they were waiting for a warehouse delivery of the stock. We trusted this would be delivered in a reasonable time as we weren’t told otherwise. The experience was terrible, we constantly chased up the store, on occasions the team would forget to get back to us even though they said they would. Lots of false promises stating “it’s on its way”. We waited a month for the delivery and nothing. We cancelled the order as we urgently needed one. Truly poor service.

Regrettably, the delay arose because the brand itself experienced unforeseen stock issues. As soon as we became aware of the problem, we did everything within our power to chase the supplier and expedite your delivery, but by the time the items arrived we understood that you urgently needed a pushchair and could no longer wait. I apologise that our team failed to keep you informed as promised; we will be reviewing our communication procedures to prevent such errors in future.
Although it was beyond our direct control, we accept full responsibility for the communication gaps and for not keeping you better informed at every stage.
Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment. Your feedback has been shared with our team so that we can improve our communication and ensure such delays are handled far more smoothly in future. Great reputable company with lovely staff members
We have bought a few items from Olivers for our baby now including our Pram Bundle in-store and a play gym online. Both are experiences I can not fault.
Staff are lovely in store and when we had an item missing in the Bundle, they arranged the item to be issued to us from Silver Cross directly within a week and we were given phone calls updates to keep us in the loop.
Can not fault them and would highly recommend.

Quick delivery and pleased with product
Our learning tower was shipped the same day despite us paying for standard delivery. And we are really pleased with it. The instructions to put it together weren't very clear / helpful, but we completely missed the QR code on the front page which said scan this for simple instructions. So that's partly our fault. But the tower is great.

Avoid, should have listened to the negative feedback
I paid £40.13 for a baby gate, extension and p&p. I loved the gate mesh design unfortunately though, these didn’t come with sticky pads as standard like most baby gates therefore it didn’t secure well to my wall and my children kept knocking it off the wall, I tried to use the extension and it wouldn’t fit at all. I rung Oliver Babycare to explain this who then told me that the sticky pads are sold separately and that I would have to pay more money. I decided to return the product as it wasn’t secure due to lack of sticky pads. I sent the item back using brown tape, I secured the item well, made sure I kept all the original packaging. I was told I would have to pay the return fee as they didn’t class this as a faulty product. I paid £13.45 to send it back so lost money straight away. When they got their gate back I was expecting a full refund p&p including which was the £40.13 I paid, not only did they not refund my p&p cost, they told me due to using brown tape they are deducting a further 10% as they can’t sell it as new, only 2nd hand. I wasn’t happy about this, I have only been refunded £30.78, not only have I lost out on £13.45 due to posting this back to them, I have also lost a further £9.35, paying out £22.80 in total! Avoid!!

As noted in our returns policy, when a product is returned for a change of mind rather than a manufacturing fault, return postage is the customer’s responsibility and cannot be refunded. In addition, we ask that all returns arrive in a fully resalable condition, including undamaged original packaging. Unfortunately, when we received your return—sealed with brown tape—the outer box showed noticeable wear and tear. This meant we could not resell it as new, so a 10% restocking fee was applied in line with our policy.
This is why your refund came to £30.78 rather than the full £40.13. I appreciate this isn’t the outcome you expected, and I’m sorry for any frustration caused.
If there’s anything else we can help with, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Stair Gate
Few other stair gates were at this specification. This one fitted our uniques door size, was a good price, delivered promptly and is great quality.
