Avoid this auction agent is involve in fraudulent activities.
I had won on one peice of land very cheap and their fee was 6 time higher then price of land.
They were very pushy for payment I got suspicious when went to see the land there was any land access by land to reach this peice of land. Land was surrounded by and other land which belongs to some one els.farmer told me they are busy with this activity since 3 years and trapping people get bunch of money with legal method and when people pay and go land they find out there is no land.so avoide avoide avoide and tell ur friends and family

Couldn’t have dealt with a better auction house ! Adam and his team were fantastic they dealt with all the million questions we had and guided us from start to finish. With only one auction round on the market to completing soon we couldn’t be more happier.

Terrible. Premises rented to my son in such a state of what I can only call neglect to the point of dangerous. At no point have they admitted any sense of responsibility for this or that issues raised were of concern. Beware before renting from them and complete any safety checks yourself including the whole property if taking a flat or studio apartment.

I recently bought a house from Pattinson. Lyndsay Greenwell is very helpful person. You always get quick response from Lyndsay and other staff.

Pattinson's adverise property on their platform.
You make a purchase in good faith, only to find some years down the line, that the information pertaining to the property was not true.
When you contact them to raise the issue of having been sold property under false pretences, they will have a tendency to remove blame from themselves. Even though they have not done their own research prior to selling a property on.
Always make sure, that you are provided with the facts, rather than listening to a company, that makes its living from the misery of unsuspecting buyers having being duped into purchasing a property, where the details to that property are false,as pattinson's in their wisdom will not accept liability, once they have off loaded that property on to you during sale.

Ellie K has been invaluable in responding promptly to every query I had in a property on auction I was interested in. She contacted the seller and solicitors to ensure that I had all the information I needed to make the most informed decision. It didn’t result in any purchase however it was for reasons other than Pattinson s customer service.

We cannot recommend Pattinson Estate Agents in Houghton le Spring highly enough. From start to finish, the entire team – Sue, Lily, Hilary, Daniel and Janine – provided an absolutely exceptional service.
They were consistently professional and clearly acted in the best interests of the seller, while also being incredibly supportive, honest and helpful to us as potential buyers. They even brought a property to our attention that we had completely missed online, which turned out to be our dream home.
The auction process was totally alien to us, but the team truly held our hands every step of the way, explaining everything clearly and reassuring us throughout. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

Shocking Service, having paid fees upfront in May 2025 we have had yet another sale fall through. Communication is terrible we were not advised that a sale we agreed in June was not going ahead until November by which time we had bought a house we have now lost. They are refusing to take any responsibility or refund our fees. Avoid at all costs. I am now having to take legal advice to try to get a refund so we can use another Estate Agent

Just used Pattinson to rent out my property as have been very good when used them in past , just to say service was once again excellent especially as was just before Xmas but they found a tenant for me really quickly and sorted everything out in a really prompt time , they really are the go to estate agent in the North East can’t rate them highly enough as never been let down by them and must say didn’t expect them to find anybody till the New Year , they’ve excelled themselves once again big thank you from their team I’m sure their all very good across the board but special mention to Bedlington and Gosforth office team , great service once again.

I can’t recommend pattinson estate agents enough, from the first gentleman that showed us round for our viewing to every person we’ve dealt with they have been amazing. I’ve mainly dealt with Emily and she is an absolute credit to the company she helped us so much with everything even things that she didn’t have to deal with she went above and beyond for me and my partner. Estate agent negociator Louise from hartlepool team was extremely professional while helping me to get the spurn walk property, even though i couldn't bid higher i felt she was supporting me throughout the bidding process, she was trying to help the buyer as well as the seller to get a fair price for both sides.

Adrian Lindsay was the estate agent I had with dealing with buying my first house and I can’t praise him enough! From start to finish he was helping me when I needed it, keeping me updated with everything that was going on. He would also chase things up if I was unable to just due to work and would also give advice too. I really appreciate everything he done for me and i would 100% deal with him from now on and would recommend him to everyone!

Pattinsons sold my house quickly and kept me in the loop every stage of the way, I also was using another two major named estate agents (purple bricks & yourmove).

I was a first time buyer and they trapped me dus to my lack of experience in buying property. Lie after lie. They made me pay seller's solicitor fee of £3500 which was written at the bottome of the special conditions in very small words. Told me the property will be in a vacant possession but it wasn't as this was another trap just to make me bid on the property. And they are so many things I can't be asked to write as I am so annoyed and frustrated with their service.
