Misleading Expiry Policy and Unhelpful Customer Service
Perkbox displays points with a specific expiry date, but what they don’t make clear is that the points actually disappear before the date even begins. My points were shown as expiring on 21/10/2025, so I was waiting until the last day to see if a specific offer returned — and if not, I would redeem them for something else. Instead, the points vanished around midnight on 20/10/2025.
This is completely misleading. If a date is shown, users should reasonably expect the points to remain valid until 23:59 on that date.
When I contacted customer support, they simply said this is how their system works, refused any goodwill gesture, and what’s even worse — they are not willing to correct even a single wording on their website to warn users. They are fully aware that this phrasing causes people to lose points, yet they prefer to leave it unchanged.
The whole experience feels unclear, unfair, and designed in a way that misleads users.

I've always used Perkbox through my workplace to get discounts. When I had accidentally placed a duplicate order, the customer service team responded really quickly to my query and resolved it in the time frame provided. Very impressed and appreciative of their help.

Several major issues with Perkbox:
1. You points expire without warning, I believe it’s 12 months, it could be 6, I’m not even sure because they just disappear.
2. If your company leaves Perkbox you lose access without warning to your account and all the points earned (or bought via rewards) literally thousands of points and hundreds worth of employee earned (paid for) coins gone.
3. Most of the perks are freely available online via many other means.
4. Their customer service is terrible. You’ll wait a long time for replies that just leave a bad taste in your mouth.
5. If anything goes wrong and you need to refund something… yeah, nah, that money is gone and you got a voucher you can’t use.
6. Half the time the site has errors when you want to buy a voucher so you can’t even use the perk when you need to.
If you’re a company reading this, pick any benefit you can find that isn’t this company.
RE: Perkbox’s reply, this is all within the realms of their control. They apologise like it’s the end user’s fault but all of it could be easily fixed and improved by them… it’s the same reply to every call out of their shady practices “oh sorry but you need to read small print there’s nothing we can do” :D

I no longer use the points system as…Disappointed - Perks Have Declined Significantly.
I no longer use the points system as the available perks have become really poor quality. The only perk that made the scheme worthwhile was the Nero vouchers, and they've now been removed. This has made the entire rewards program much less attractive. Not good at all.

BE WARNED
Flexible points expire silently. My points have been draining away for seven months without warning. The biggest issue is perks are nothing special and with research you will find deals that are equivalent or better. For example many attractions offer family tickets which are better value than a perk price. Often any savings are unclear, or a retailer might 'run out' of digital discounts. BE WARNED - using perkbox to get a discount removes your ability to get your money back in the event something goes wrong. Waste of time, would not recommend

Great "help" Service
I use Perkbox for a lot of my online shopping and in a few months have saved close to £100. Once you get used to the app, it is relatively easy to buy vouchers and pay using them, particularly if you save your favourite stores and your card details. I have only had one incident which failed.
Payment was taken but there was a glitch (I was on a train so not sure if poor signal affected it) and I never received my voucher. I messaged the help messaging service and within the hour they had responded with an apology and processed my refund. It was dealt with quickly and appropriately. I was very impressed as often these days you end up talking to a bot and going around in circles or waiting ages for a human to respond.
