Jim (maintenance) at Park Hill, Sheffield is amazing! We can’t sing his praises enough. Have lost count of the number of times he has gone above and beyond to help out, including helping my partner re-attach a cupboard door within our flat which is certainly not in his job description. Nothing is too much trouble and have often seen him stay past his finish time. It is clear to see he is a very busy man but he is always approachable (same can’t be said for some other members of staff), always has a smile on his face and considering the number of residents always seems to remember us.

He’s a real credit to an iconic building in Sheffield as well as to Great Places and Plum Life. Give the man a raise!

Ian Burns our sales advisor from Plumlife has been fantastic, with the completion period changing constantly (through no fault of plumlife) he was always keeping us updated, whenever I had a query or concern Ian would always respond to me promptly with an answer, and if he wasn't sure he would go out of his way to find out.

After moving into a Plumlife property in February I had issues with contacting the housing developer to sort a defect in the kitchen. I contacted Plumlife and Liam has gone above and beyond to resolve the issue after constant back and forth with the developer and me personally getting nowhere. Within days of contacting Liam he has this sorted and a technician was arranged to attend the address.

He made the acquisition of the property as smooth and as hassle free as it could possibly be from the initial phone call to completion of the property and dealt with everything in a friendly professional manner. I work with developers Urban Splash on the PR and Communications for Park Hill. I have been fortunate to have been on the project for many years. Over much of that time the building manager for Phase 1 has been Gamal Martin, known to everyone as Jim. I just felt it was time to recognise the great job he does and to appreciate how much he cares for the upkeep of the place and how he is such a well known and trusted figure of the community. He and I have worked together on resident events and he has always been so helpful with all the many varied activities I present him with including accommodating the media, film and photography requests. We have been through lots of challenges and had a lot of fun along the way. Ultimately he is such a lovely guy who always has a smile and I am pleased to say he has turned from a colleague into a friend. There is not just one date for this experience - it's past, present and I hope future........

Great service, explanations and patience with first time buyers from Ian. He went through everything in plenty of detail. We appreciated the good mortgage brokers and solicitors that he advised.

Great customer service from Kelly and Ian. Available when needed and helped the process of buying our first home as a family go so smoothly especially with the run up to Christmas. We were worried that we wouldn’t be in our home in time for Christmas but Ian pulled out all the stops to ensure we were. I couldn’t recommend them higher. Where do I even start?.... I now live in my dream home and it is all thanks to Ian Burns, who has been so amazing, personable and professional throughout the entire purchasing process. Ian has made the whole process with Plumlife so smooth and seamless, with constant communication and updates, to providing reassurance and support when certain things didn't go as planned. I was a first-time buyer so had limited knowledge about mortgages initially, but Ian recommended a trusted mortgage advisor and solicitors who literally did everything for me. Ian went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me secure my home and has still been on hand to sort out any issues (minor ones may I add) following moving in, and I know I can still contact him with any future queries, which adds an extra layer of security. I am so grateful to have had such a positive experience with someone who genuinely cares about people and doesn't just want to make quick/thoughtless sales. Ian is an absolute asset to Plumlife and I really hope that he is recognised for all his hard work and dedication towards the company, particularly towards the families that he deals with.
