Proximity Coach Travel Reviews

Super Communication with a Personalised Service :

Though I spoke with or emailed several members of Proximity Coach Travel over the process of organising travel for our group, my main contact was with Astrid. I highly recommend this company - they conduct themselves professionally but have the customer’s needs in mind as they tailor the transport to them accordingly. This is a copy of the body of the email I sent them because I was so impressed with their service:

I just wanted to say thanks so much for all you and your company have done throughout this process with our community group. They all enjoyed the trip to the Lancashire Science Festival on Saturday.

It has been a pleasure working with you - and the driver with coach that you sent us on Saturday was brilliant! He was punctual, personable, good with communication, the coach was lovely and he was an excellent driver too along some quite tight turnings.

We are very pleased with the professionalism your company offered along with the personal touch in terms of flexibility to meet our individual circumstances, your accommodation of our requirements and your communication. Your emails have always friendly and helpful, making me feel at ease with asking questions when I needed direction or clarification. It’s the first time I’ve organised a group so large to go anywhere and you have been absolutely excellent throughout. Thank you very much indeed! If we do any future trips (which I hope we do!) I will definitely be using your company as our first port of call.

Our community group organised a retail therapy trip for 57 women to raise awareness for mental health, which meant lot's of short stops at different shopping outlets with limited parking/restrictions, this requirement increased price and issues, Proximity Coach Hire took all our requirements and expectations onboard and tailored a package to meet our needs. We had a wonderful day with exceptional adventure. The driver was accommodating and chatty. All future trips, Proximity Coach Hire will be 1st on our contact list. Thank you :)

We found Proximity Coaches at very short notice, but they rallied around us to ensure that our young people could have the best day out. Khawar, our driver, was incredibly friendly and ensured that everyone was welcomed onto the bus. We would absolutely recommend Proximity to others, and will be looking to book future trips using their services in the future.

Would recommend to anyone, booking staff were really helpful in organising and we were really happy with the price. Coach driver was brilliant too.

Amazing company. So helpful and reliable. Clifford our driver was fantastic, so friendly. I will definitely be using this company again!.

Fantastic lads easy to organise, couldn’t ask for more! We even changed our times and they was happy to accommodate,
Thanks Matt and Graham!

So helpful and amazing to work with !

Brilliant team brilliant people, would highly reccomend!

Such lovely people who were so helpful and made our experience very smooth and easy. Very comfy and sophisticated travel! Thanks so much, highly recommend and will be using again in the future!
Love the sixes in the city team x

Brilliant service from Proximity. We were let down the night before we travelled by another company. I contacted Proximity at the end of the day when we were due to leave at 10am the next day for a long journey to the ferry, and Matt & Kath couldn't have been more helpful. Quickly found us a coach. Great service provided in a lovely coach. Thank you. Will 100% use & recommend in the future.

We chose Proximity Coach Hire because of their great reviews and also because they are family-owned. They didn’t disappoint. In January, Proximity took our group of 31 from Liverpool to Wrexham to see several sites and to watch the Wrexham Ladies F.C. game. Several days later, Proximity took the same group to Manchester Airport. Both drivers were prompt, friendly, capable. I’d say that we would definitely hire this company again except that we already have!
Proximity Coach Hire is easy to work with and offers a solid service at an affordable rate.

Excellent service, our driver was very friendly, professional and flexible. We had a fantastic day out, thanks to Proximity.

From start to finish we had no issues, everything was explained and when we couldn’t fill the full coach we originally asked for they managed to sort us a smaller coach for less which they didn’t have to do. Would 100% use again and recommend.

I am very grateful to coach travel, although we did not have a reservation with them, there was a delay situation with a flight that arrived from Barcelona to Bristol with my daughter and a group from the university and since the original company with which they had the reservation never answered the phone to confirm the delay the coach travel company solved the problem and everyone arrived home without problem

Brilliant experience from first booking to the initial event. The team were prompt when I made the booking and on the day the driver called us beforehand to let us know where he would be parked and everything ran smoothly. Excellent company and I would not hesitate to book again.

2nd time using Proximity, again amazing service and competitive pricing.

Great communication from start to finish

Understood the needs and what we wanted, exceeded expectations with the transport provided.

Highly recommend

We booked a mini bus for a corporate event for Cheltenham for a group of 34 guests.

Before travel they contacted us to let us know we had been booked a corporate bus, driver details etc., checked if they could park and pick up guests at the pick up point and if not accessible they found an alternative without too much hassle for the guests.

On the day we were sent an email to say mini-bus was on its way with a link to a tracker so that we could monitor its arrival.

Driver was friendly and arrived early!

Thank you so much for making this an excellent, informative, friendly and efficient service - will definitely be booking again for any future events!

We booked our coach for travel from Derbyshire to huddersfield for our girls football cup final.
The service provided before travel was very organised, they confirmed the booking, and we got confirmation immediately, they contacted me 5 days before travel and then the coach company called me the day before to go through details.
The coach arrived on time, was a very clean coach and the driver was friendly and careful, which made us feel comfortable especially with having lots of children on board. We had a lovely drive back as well and can not fault the coach or the service in which proximity coach travel provided, we definitely will use again in the future, thank you.

The coach is very poor and dirty, Delayed it's passenger not time conscious. Posed her passenger to danger and risk.
Fuel got finished on the highway and we have a lot of children on board.
I can't recommend this for anyone.

Company were lovely, and the driver made our experience wonderful. He was very reliable, and the coach company were very dedicated to ensure our travel was well organised and communication was reliable when requested! Thank you from the cheerleaders :)
