Seems like the pharmacy doesn't care anymore. 6 months ago took in a prescription was told be ready in 20 minutes,came back an hour and half later still wasn't ready and had to wait another 30 minutes to get it. A month ago had prescription for antibiotics faxed in at noon which I was suppose to start immediately and took them over a day to fill it. Prescription was faxed in yesterday and I am still waiting for it to be filled. Why has the customer service gotten so bad. People need their meds and shouldn't have to wait over a day to get it. Been a customer for over 30 years and never had such bad service . Time to look into another pharmacy.

Store 1743 is a joke. The management does not now how to run a store and they do not now how to treat employees. One employees name is Chelsea and she is always causing trouble and lying to everyone to make her self look good. BEFORE employees or management start at Rexall they should take a course on how to treat people and also a better course on management duties.

Honestly the Rexall at International Village mall is absolute B.S the security and staff act as though every paying customer is a Theif and they uncomfortably follow you around the store spying on you as you shop it’s extremely unsettling and the prices are way too high compared to Shoppers, Walmart or London Drugs. Just skip this place all together and save yourself the negativity and overall waste of money and time, not to mention energy. Use your money somewhere you get treated as a quality customer!!!

Said it would take a half a hour to process my prescription — after 45 min. I had to ask about it. Then they didn’t bother to advise that they were unable to process claim through my insurance.

On July 7, 2026, took a prescription for acetaminophen and hydromorphone there after knee surgery. Had to decipher some head down, mumbled semi-English from a woman at the counter saying they could not fill my prescription because they “have no acetaminophen”. Really? And this is a pharmacy? Is it legit? Who knows!
This location must be at the very bottom of Rexall locations with poor interpersonal communications and no stock of basic drugs. What a farce. Why are they open?
So, I took my prescription to a Shoppers Drug Mart further down on Laurier. They had acetaminophen (and hydromorphone).
Never go to Rexall in Minto Place at 407 Laurier Ave. W., Ottawa. A waste of time.

This is specific to the weight management program to obtain glp1. SO many appointments and no prescription. Not worth it. Such a waste of time.

I switched to Rexall expecting reliable pharmacy service, but my experience has been nothing but frustrating. Prescription orders were frequently delayed, and getting updates from the pharmacy was nearly impossible. Every time I called, I received different information, and no one seemed willing to take responsibility for resolving the issue.

The lack of communication and customer care made an already stressful situation even worse. When dealing with important medications, accuracy and reliability should be a priority, but that was not my experience here. I will be taking my business elsewhere and would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone who values dependable service.

I am beyond disappointed with the home healthcare equipment services provided by Rexall. My 100-year-old grandmother was renting an air mattress/pump for a pressure point, and the experience has been a nightmare from a pricing and service standpoint.
First, the rental costs are astronomical—at $300/month, we were able to purchase a brand-new bed for the cost of just three months' rent. It feels like a predatory pricing model for elderly patients on fixed incomes.
Second, the communication is non-existent. I have been trying to coordinate a pickup for the equipment for some time, yet no one calls back to schedule it. Despite my efforts to return the items, they continue to charge my Visa without authorization.
Lastly, the lack of professionalism is stunning. During my last call to resolve the billing and pickup, the representative didn't even hang up the phone before he began disparaging me to his colleagues. To be treated with such disrespect while trying to manage care for a centenarian is completely unacceptable.
I would strongly advise other families to look elsewhere for medical equipment. We expected support and empathy; we got overcharged and insulted.

I go to the post office at 1036 princess street in Kingston. The woman is absolutely so rude every time I see her. She was so rude to me recently even a lady in line looked at me super surprised. I’m always friendly. I try to kill her attitude with kindness. But I’m not sure. She just seems to dislike me the moment she met me. Gives me a hard time.

I purchased a Libre 3 sensor, as i have diabetes. They are supposed to stay on your arm for 15 days. Once again, it has fallen off prematurely, after only 7 days. Even after my benefits coverage, I still have to pay almost $130.00 for this sensor, and expect it to stay on for the time advertised. When I contacted the store to ask for a replacement, they told me to contact the manufacturer, as it is a known problem with the product, and is happening in large numbers, and they wouldn't be responsible for replacing it. I told him that I am not rich enough to replace it whenever it doesn't work properly, and inquired as to why they would continue to sell a product that doesn't work as advertised, and at that point I was told that there was nothing else to be said, and to have a nice day! Quite the scam! They get double the sales on a faulty product they knowingly sell to consumers, without any warning whatsoever, and I get nothing but a headache from a company I have dealt with for 15 years. Time to switch to SHOPPERS! Do the right thing people, and STAY AWAY FROM REXALL!

it should be illegal for them to sell pills this big!! I bought myself and my 77-year-old mother-in-law Calcium 1200 vitamin D3 from Dollar General,, she used her OTC card and Dollar General accepts the card but will not accept returns because they said it's government, they advertise all over their store that they accept OTC but they do not advertise they did that they do not give refund. Rexall should be ashamed for selling pills this big! too bad I can't post pictures on this site but you could check it out on Google and yelp under Dollar General in colonia And you cannot see inside the bottle before purchase

Booked an appointment online when searching for a wall in clinic after I slipped on the ice and dislocated my knee. Answered 2 pages of questions, explained why I need see a Dr. Drive ½ hour to get to my appointment to only find out no one showed up for work today and these guys aren't medical doctors they are pharmacist. Would have been nice to have this knowledge before hobbling in and out of the car and across the store on an injured leg.

I went to this branch tonight to purchase a package of Benylin All-In-One (40) caplets. Upon entering the store, I was met by a woman who seemed Friendly, and when I asked her who was on the till, she was indignant and said "I'm watching it, I was on my way there when you walked away!" I had forgotten one thing I wanted to purchase; but as I went back to pay, the total amount was $115.00 after my senior discount. Because of a head cold, I wasn't thinking clearly. The package of Benylin I purchased had an expiry April 2026 (2 months from now) which I never noticed till I got home. I called to exchange it for a newer package. Upon return to the store, I was met with the manager, who wasn't very understanding or friendly. Obviously doesn’t know customer satisfaction. I informed her of the expiry date, and that I wouldn't be using the whole package of pills within the 2 months, and I didn't think that $26 was a good deal for near expired product. She told me emphatically that their policy is to have all medicines on shelf, (whether they are near expiry or not). And, I should have looked for a date. After a few words exchanged, she said she would exchange it this time, but next time check the dates! I didn't feel like I was treated with kindness and understanding; and left there deciding that I would never shop at that branch again. Did you have a bad day, or is this your regular character? After reading the other reviews, I can agree with many of them, and this is only the 2nd time I’ve been inside this branch since moving to Winnipeg in the summer.

They are hopeless do not use this pharmacy,,,unless u like to write reviews like this ....

Store closed a half hour earlier than website indicated. Sign on door read closure due to "lack of pharmacists". Wanted to buy a drink, not sure why the entire store needed to close due to pharmacist issues. Staff inside observed us reading the sign, shook their heads and laughed then ran away. Extraordinarily unprofessional way of conducting business.

Dealt with some grumpy pharmacist that didn't want to help... I thought he's in the business of helping people. Store #7152. It's Christmas, smile. Sorry I wasted your time.

Please retire soon.

I attended the Harvard Square Recall in Hamilton and Christine was so helpful and patient, highly recommend.

Nice clean store but the pharmacy is one muddle-ip mess. Husband called to refill prescription, they said no refills so he went to doctor and dropped off new prescription last week. Today he called to refill 4 prescriptions and they could not find his file so he printed out his list of meds for his heart, drove there—nope. No file BUT they did have the prescription he had dropped off. Not filled yet, of course. So….this is long weekend, clinic is closed until Tuesday and he has”just enough” heart meds. And the darn pharmacy hasn’t a clue even though we have been getting his meds there for over a year, thanks for nothing,
