RUTH'S ROSES IS A HORRIBLE "FAMILY OWNED" CROOKED COMPANY. They repurpose funeral arrangements. The don't deliver what they state on their website--false advertising. I ordered a vibrant rose-filled birthday arrangement and what appeared to be repurposed funeral flowers of white daisies and lilies was delivered. Ruth's Roses Yucaipa lists 2 affiliated addresses--both of which are mortuaries. I'm sickened by this "Family Ran" business. CROOKS!!!

I wish I would have read the reviews before calling them.
1. Ruth’s Roses aren’t in Port Huron. They are in Richmond.
2. I asked about delivery fees - told there weren’t any but upon finalizing there is a $18.00 convenience fee.
Ok - but just call it a delivery fee?
3. I ordered an arrangement specifically in the colors shown. Peach roses with little lavender flowers.
I even asked - will this be in the colors shown? Was told
Oh yes!
4. Flowers received were PUMPKIN ORANGE roses with big GRAPE PURPLE carnations. They were GHASTLY
The recipient actually separated the flowers and put them in different rooms.
I don’t know why these people continue to give bad service when they must know they only have 1 star with the BBB. I will say that they credited me $30 on a $100 order but they really abound have made it right. We still pad $60 for a GARISH arrangement.

I placed my order and gave a time to deliver. I was assured the arrangement would be delivered. I called back about an hour later to find out the status of the delivery. I was told at that time that the order was not delivered because they were out of the flowers for that arrangement. Had I not called, they would have kept my money. I asked why did no one call me to let me know. I was not given an answer.
I asked for my refund and was told it would be returned in 7-10 business days. They were quick to pull the money from my account but slow to refund. SCAMMERS!!!

I asked the delivery to be made after 4pm since my daughter was getting married earlier. They arrived and sat outside all day. I also ask specifically for no lilies because my daughter and her husband have cats. Lilies are toxic to cats and some species are deadly to them. They included a lesser toxic Lily, but Lily. Nonetheless. I will never use them again.

The product I received was not anything similar to the product that was ever test. I was expecting a large arrangement of flowers for my niece's birthday and what she got was a small pot with a couple of roses and a couple of daisies. This place is a ripoff

I ordered a funeral spray for my daughter's mother-in-law's memorial service today. When we got to the mortuary, the director told me the arrangement had been dropped off 3 days ago. So the spray sat in the unairconditioned mortuary for 3 days. The mortuary was not going to run the air for a spray of flowers! I checked my paperwork and I gave them today's date as the delivery date. The flowers were wilting and turning brown and the leaves were all curling up. I spent $232.00 on this spray of flowers and they weren't worth a dime! I called the florist and they said to take a picture and send it to them and they would decide about a refund. I called my bank and filed a dispute. I strongly advise you not to use this florist. My next step is to contact the Better Business Bureau.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. My daughter received half-dead flowers, no balloon, and no card. I called to complain and received no apology and no refund. I did call my bank to stop the payment.

Very disappointing experience. I ordered a birthday gift for my mother and received an order confirmation. Apparently, a cancellation email was sent moments later due to a supply issue, which I unfortunately missed.
The result was that my mother's birthday came and went with no gift, and I didn't find out until four days later. Had I been made aware in time, I would have simply ordered something else and avoided the situation entirely.
I understand that supply issues happen, but for a company handling time-sensitive gifts, I really wish more effort had been made to alert me that a confirmed birthday order would not be delivered. Customer service simply reiterated the supply issue and refund, which didn't really address my concern.
I received my money back, but unfortunately you can't redo a missed birthday. I personally wouldn't rely on Ruth's Roses for an important occasion.

The website picture is for Deluxe products but pricing is for standard products so when you check out you would have to upgrade to get what you are looking at. Even the vase is considered deluxe. The advertise free delivery but then add an $18 service charge. Very poor service

I would rate zero if possible. This is a scam. They claim to have delivered the flowers. I’m supposed to accept the word of a foreign telephone operator over the word of the person I sent the flowers to. They told me they have proof of delivery I believe my proof of no delivery is more reliable. Terrible

I truly wish I could have gave him a minus four star. They lied to me and told me that I was being sent a picture of the flower arrangement when it got there. I was not. I'm not in the state to where the flowers supposedly went. I have no idea if the they got them. When I asked them about the picture. All I hear is we have not heard back from our delivery people. The flowers are supposed to be there at 10:00 a.m. It is now so 4:03 p.m. and we still don't know anything about this delivery? Did they offer to to check that out? No they did not. I was told to wait until whenever there company decided to try to get a hold of them. To say the least. I am furious. Don't order from these people please. Out of five sites I have seen two. Good reviews. Only two. Please save yourself.

If there were a 0 rating, I would give Ruth's Roses a 0!!! I ordered from this florist because they CLAIMED to be a local, brick and mortar store. I recently discovered that this is a LIE! I spoke with a foreign lady in some unknown country. I ordered flowers for a friend's family visitation and funeral early this morning. I was notified by email that the flowers were not available late this afternoon. They claimed it was a "supply chain issue". So, I'm ordering from another florist at 10:30 p.m., and hoping they can deliver them for a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. I ordered 2 arrangements, one from my family, and one from our church. I am VERY disappointed that the flowers will not be there unless the other florist pulls off a miracle and delivers them. This company is NOT REPUTABLE! DO NOT ODER FROM THEM!

Do NOT use this shop. I called and placed an order for funeral flowers. They confirmed the flowers were in stock for the order, then later canceled the order. No phone call back to have a replacement order fulfilled was done. Terrible customer service.

Sending flowers to a friend who's father passed, I ordered the flowers, was promised deliver and then I got an email a few moments after the service started they cancelled the order due to unforeseen supply chain disruptions. Did not call and change the arrangement but just did not deliver. Charged my CC but did not do what they promised over the phone. Horrible company!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flowers& colors not at all what I ordered. Gave the company opportunity to correct .
Company refused offered half price back. I requested a full refund . Company refused stating that flowers were delivered, even though they were not what I ordered. I actually spoke to someone and the person sent me a picture of what I thought would be delivered. After explaining the situation. Communication stopped. I agree with the negative reviews will never order from them again.

Ok, I fully understand and do not contest the 1.2 rating. I was almost that customer. Thankfully, after 2 emails, and 2 phone calls trying to get my flowers delivered by 4:30 pm when the business closed, whomever Ruth's Flowers contracts and communicates with to have them delivered same day, actually came through. Actually just past the time limit. It was 4:38 when the flowers showed up. Fortunately I'd been in contact with the office front desk to let me know if / when the delivery was made. I was in the process of leaving a scathing review, when I was nicely surprised by a phone call - not from Ruth's - confirming delivery. I really want to help Ruth's succeed, since they do make some effort, albeit very very last minute, and sometimes one or two days later. Ruth's...please don't oversell, then underperform. If you can't deliver same day, when order is placed well before 2pm, (7:15a in my case) then please be honest. Tell us we need to place the order at least 24 hrs prior or whatever the metric is, in order to have delivery truly be same day. I hope you're paying the helpful, kind and patient customer service workers a decent wage, because I'm sure a lot of stressed out customers are calling to complain about all the things we read on the Trust pilot, as well as BBB horrible reviews. Please step up your game ..be honest and prompt and those 1.2 reviews will become 4s and 5s. Thank you for reading this. Ruth's Roses are the worst flower shop ever. I ordered what was suppose to be a beautiful Pink Spray arrangement for a funeral and they delivered DEAD FLOWERS to the to the funeral home the day before the service. I called them and tried to get another arrangement or a refund and they told me I had to wait 48 hours for management to investigate. They showed absolutely no sympathy for my situation and never responded back or picked the flowers back up. All Praise be to an Almighty God that I was able to dispute the it and can get my money back. But they took advantage of me at the worst possible time and I will NEVER use them again. There was no accountability at all they should be shut down.

I made an order on June 27th that they were unable to deliver. They said they would refund me in 3 to 5 days it's been 11 days. I have gone back and forth with them and they told me I was reimbursed and the order number was closed. Reached out to my bank and filed an official complaint. They are horrible never use them.

Terrible experience! I ordered an expensive plant order for a friend. A very cheap plant that did not match the picture online was delivered. I emailed the business and they said they could not deliver the correct plant order and only reimbursed me partially-after I asked for a full refund. I don’t m ow how they are in business

I would give zero stars.
I ordered flowers from this florist thinking I was ordering from a very reputable florist with similar name.
It was for my dad’s memorial service last Friday. The venue was at a lovely Inn who obliged my dad’s military honors, memorial service and dinner. They did a perfect job in every way (The Hopkins Inn).

I ordered on line days before the service. I followed up with a phone call to confirm the time of service/flower delivery for an 11:30 memorial.

The flowers didn’t arrive at all during the service or dinner. They were supposed to adorn the memorial table with my dad’s ashes and pictures etc. The Inn felt terrible. (They provided a lovely last minute arrangement). I learned they were delivered at 4pm, hours after we were long gone and it was over.

To think I had to argue my case with these fraudsters. They actually said “we don’t guarantee time”. Seriously? You’re in business of weddings and funerals. They rejected my request for a refund. They are heartless and shouldn’t be doing business in this country.

I was in tears. Not over the money. But that heartless people can commit fraud against Americans like it’s nothing. They’re no better than the ones who call people and scare them into sending gift cards to the “IRS”.

Please be careful when ordering anything on line. Be sure youve got the name right.
And NEVER order from Ruth’s Roses.
