Delivery issues, poor customer service over phone

Absolutely horrendous. They charge so much and what you get is nothing like you picked out ! I ordered a white daisy and pale yellow wreath for my grandmothers funeral . I paid for the larger arrangement and a banner . The picture I ordered was absolutely beautiful. What I recieved was a wilted not fresh arrangement. It also had no daisies, which is the reason I picked the piece. my grandmothers favorite flower was a daisy and they didn’t put any in !!!! It was also supposed to have vines and those were replaced by ferns . And the full wreath that was pictures was nothing like I got . I got a small thin circle of flowers . And the banner I was charged $25 for was a little bow on the bottom . I am so disspointed and upset . This was supposed to be for my grandmothers funeral from all if her grandchildren. Do not buy from this company !!!!!

I purchased a $225 arrangement (before tax and delivery) for a dear friends funeral. What I got looked like something that was stolen from a graveside of a funeral that took place a week prior. It was an embarassing and humiliating to have our name associated with it. It was more dead than alive. I couldn't believe it! $225!!! I asked three times if they were a local shop and they assured me they were. I should have done more research. Shame on you for this! Don't do business with these people!!!

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Flowers by Nora. I ordered a sympathy arrangement during a time of mourning for a family member, and what was delivered looked nothing like what I paid for. The flowers appeared cheap, old, and already dying. It felt insensitive and unacceptable given the occasion.

To make matters worse, the response offered was only a small partial refund, which does not reflect how wrong the entire order was. Customers trust florists during important life moments, and this company failed badly. I would not recommend using them.

I would not even give this experience one star but had to in order to write this review. I wanted to order flowers from a store in Bemidji Minnesota. Flowers by Nora was listed as a local store. I ordered from Arizona and then flew to the Memorial in Minnesota to find that the flowers never arrived. When I called the agency (in Florida ...even though the guy that answered said they had a store in Bemidji), they said my order had been canceled and that they notified me via email. I never received an email. I wasn't notified of anything. Don't order from this group. They are terrible. I believe they are a scam as I would have never known that my flowers didn't arrive, if I hadn't attended the Memorial myself or asked about the flowers.

I ordered funeral flowers from Flowers by Nora on April 16 for delivery before a funeral service on April 17. I received confirmation that the flowers would be delivered, but then got an email at 1 PM the day before saying they could not fulfill the order due to supply issues. By then, it was too late to arrange flowers elsewhere. While I understand issues can happen, the lack of timely communication during such an important and emotional moment was extremely disappointing. When I called, I was unable to speak with a manager and received no real explanation. This experience was very upsetting during an already difficult time.

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH FLOWERS BY NORA! I ordered a floral arrangement for my daughter's Birthday and the floral arrangement never got delivered. Their website states: "Order By 2 PM. For Free, Same Day Delivery". I placed the order yesterday > Monday, April 13th by 9:30 a.m.; yet my daughter DID NOT receive the arrangement...THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! To emphasize, in addition to the cost of the floral arrangement, Flowers by Nora charged $18.99 for a Servicing Fee...a service which was never rendered!!! I've called several times and requested to speak with the Owner and/or Manager to demand a refund. No call backs; no response. However, their website advertises the following: "Flowers By Nora is a family-owned and operated business that has been building long-term relationships with the community for just over 25 years! Flowers By Nora has grown the business from a small-town flower shop to a nationally recognized florist because of her attention to detail and timely delivery." AGAIN, THIS IS FALSE ADVERSTISEMENT! ALL of the Customer Service Agents I've spoken to are based out of their Call Center located in Florida. When questioned, one of the Agents I spoke with said "they have a storefront in Vienna, VA". This supposed location is down the street from my daughter's employer. Therefore, there's no acceptable reason why the arrangement was not delivered!!! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH FLOWERS BY NORA!!

Same feedback as others. What I purchased did not remotely look like the pictures from the site. I repeat do not place an order with Flowers by Nora. I wish I read the reviews prior to ordering.

They sent a smaller arrangement than what I paid for and they sent the wrong arrangement, using cheap flowers and not the ones clearly pictured. Then when I called to complain they said I had to send an email to show them how the flowers were supposed to look! I was in the middle of asking a question and they disconnected the call. The person who took my call had a very strong accent and was difficult to understand.

Worst florist ever used! Placed order on a Monday afternoon for next day delivery and did not deliver until late on Wednesday! Had to make two phone calls and additional emails to try to get status but just ended up with a run around. Would not recommend to my worst enemy!!!

I would rate them zero but not an option.

Terrible experience. Flowers were for a celebration of life, hoping for a statement arrangement. No delivery, no apologies and so far no refund. Worst experience ever. This is probably a scam operation. It is “under investigation” and someone will call me back. I have no faith I will hear from this group again.

made a custom order. Did not deliver the flowers that were promised. Politely called to have corrected and was told i need to go through a formal email process and send pictures. After my 92 yr old Aunt got help taking a photo and i submitted formal complaint was offered a third of the price as a refund. I asked them again just to send the correct flowers but they refused. They don't care about bad reviews. Run from this company.

Ordered early 4/7 for same day delivery as website presented to be local in Anna, TX. Was charged 83.18 for something that was never delivered. Was told it would take 48 hours to investigate. A week later and still no resolution just that it as been escalated. When I asked for a physical address to report to the BBB I was asked why and told they could not provide me with that information. That right there screams scam. Please do not use this business.

I ordered 160.00 memorial service flowers for my dear friend who passed away. I received order confirmation, and the charge. When I called on day of delivery to get confirmation they had been delivered, I was informed that my order had been canceled. I received NO email cancellation of order. I received NO phone call of cancellation. Now 1 hour before service I have no way to send anything. Per flowers by nora, they stated they tried to call the deceased person to advise order had been canceled. REALLY! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. RUN!!! F- SHOULD BE THEIR RATING! NOT 1 STAR!!!

Bought a premium basket, got a vase. Offered a $20 refund, basically only covers their dubious service charge. Admitted they only sent basic in email. Complained to FTC, MC, and charging back with card. Everyone should. This is scam 101.

Everything was wrong! Completely wrong arrangement sent - nothing like basket that I ordered. Multiple emails suggest their policy allows “substitutions” but surely not just allowing them to send whatever bruised flowers they have leftover. Two calls answered by different people said “email team had it and they would have to resolve it and then THEY BOTH HUNG UP ON ME! Some customer service! I’m not done with this!

My wife had to walk 4 buildings away to pick up her own flowers.

The delivery girl called my wife 3 times back to back and when my wife answered the delivery girl was clearly frantic and confused claiming that the campus was just too big and she was lost.

All the delivery girl had to do was google the info I left on the directions. There is only 1 Career Center at UTD. I'm just glad my wife had enough foresight to tell her to stay put and she so she could go and track down the delivery girl.

So needless to say the flowers weren't a surprise for my wifes birthday. Lesson learned.

Ordered flowers for next day delivery, but received an email two days later saying 'due to supply issues' my order was cancelled. I only received this email in response to my inquiry about the order.

I wish I read reviews...I thought I was supporting local business. This is obvious scam; take your money elsewhere.
When I contacted the business to tell them that the bouquet I ordered doesn't resemble the one received they replied to me with their terms and conditions contract. Just wow!

This company misrepresents its services and fails to meet basic business standards. I order get well flowers for my sister. I was very clear when ordering that the order taker should help me pick something the florist had the flowers for. Several hours later I get an email saying we have no flowers today and we are refunding your order. Meanwhile my sister is in the hospital without the flowers to cheer her up. The organize acts like it is a local business but it is actually in Florida running a national web-based business. Stay away from the company.
