BEWARE, SCAM, FRAUD. I called to make arrangements for my mom's unexpected passing. When googling florist in Joplin, MO, I came across Ruth's Roses. I called and let them know that my previous arrangements cancelled due to a flower shortage in southern MO. I let them know the product I was wanting and to avoid any other delays, if they could just be sure that they would be able to provide service. I was placed on a brief hold, then was confirmed that they were not having shortage issues and they could provide service. I was charged $400 dollars, and 2 mins later received an EMAIL stating that they do not have flowers due to a flower shortage and will receive a refund in 10 business days. My mom will now not have any flowers for her funeral. This place should be out of business and pending litigation.

I would give zero if I could. Horrible. I trusted them to get flowers to a funeral and 10 minutes before the service I got a text asking to deliver them later or to a different address. then I got an email saying they had supply issues. thought I was working with a local vendor in the area of the funeral. DO NOT USE

I ordered flowers for my niece's Memorial Service.
They were skimpy and looked like they cost $10.00.
I was so embarrassed and I will never use this florist again. I should have read the reviews first.
A total rip-off. The worst flowers among all the other beautiful arrangements.
Go elsewhere.

I would give no stars if this were an option. This is not a local business as it is portrayed.Made an order and payment details over the phone, an hour later still no confirmation email; I contacted them and was on hold for an insulting length of time- they could not find the order. Senses I was being scammed and rang my bank and changed all details. Avoid, avoid , avoid. My impresssion is that this is a call centre- certainly not a local florist.

BOUQUET WITH MOSTLY TULIPS UPON ARRIVAL NO TULIPS AND FLOWER LOOKED LIKE THEY WENT IN THE BACK YARD AND PICK THEM.THEY ALSO TELL YOU FREE DELIVERY AND HIT YOU WITH A 18.95 SERVICE CHARGE.YOU CALL THEM AND THEY BLOW YOU OFF.STAY AWAY.SAVE YOUR MONEY AND AGGRAVATION.

Scammed. Call them and they will flat out lie to you. When you ask where they are located, they tell you they are not open to the public at the moment due to "safety reasons ". Its because they are NOT a brick and mortar flower shop they claim to be

I called and placed order over the phone as I found online ordering was not very specific. I placed a very important order for a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to my daughter for a college graduation out of state. Beings I could not be there personally I wanted a substantial floral balloon card arrangement, beautiful enough to ease the disappointment of my absence. Nothing met my specifications or expectations. They were however, delivered on time. Arrangement looked nothing like the the picture on the website very disappointed, embarrassed.

Ruth's Roses made a flower delivery timely and professionally as I requested to my business partner's house in Port Orchard, WA. They sent me a picture of the flowers, it was amazingly pretty and beautiful. I highly recommend Ruth's Rose for the locals. Thank you very much, Ruth's Roses!

One star is too much for this company. I order a plant to be delivered to a church for a funeral. The plant never arrived. I called the old church and the new church, no plant. I called Ruth’s Roses, they apologized and set up a new order to be delivered to my brother’s home. Again, this didn’t happen. When I called to find out why the plant still had not been delivered, I was hung up on 3 times.

I have started the dispute with my credit card.

Did not delivery to the correct address and customer service is awful. I thought I was originally ordering from a local shop, but they are a third party that takes money and does not care about fulfilling orders. Still trying to get a refund on my $89 dollar order.

If I could give this company ZERO stars I would.

I ordered flowers for same day delivery. For some reason they didn't have the arrangement they have displayed on the website when I ordered. Why have things on your website you cannot ship???

Since it was same day, you'd think they would call me. Nope, they texted me and told me they didn't have my arrangement. So I called them and expressed my disappointment. They said they would have it delivered first thing when they open up on Friday at 8am. It's now 1pm on Friday, I just called and they told me they refunded my ordered. Never called, never told me they couldn't deliver. I had to discover this on my own when I called my daughter to see if she got the flowers yet and she hadn't.

Don't buy anything from this store. The workers don't even seem like they care. Don't deal with horrible service as I did. Take your business elsewhere.

Won't make this mistake again. Read reviews before ordering from an unknown company! How are they still in business? 94% of customers gave them an awful review!

So sorry I didn't read reviews before ordering. My 89-year-old Mother's favorite color is purple, so I ordered an arrangement called Perfectly Purple. It was delivered to her for Mother's Day, and the flowers were red. Cost me $98 and they would not give refund. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS PLEASE!!!

WOW! Like so many others on here, I wish I had read the reviews first. I too placed an order for my MIL for Mother's Day that never arrived. They were insistent when I first called that the arrangement was delivered, but they said they were opening an investigation that would take 24-48 hours anyway. Four days later I still had heard nothing, despite calling back several times. Today when I called, I was hung up on, twice. This place is a SCAM - they don't deserve any stars. Complete ZERO!

Total scam. Added on $19 charge on receipt. Claimed 'free delivery' then added on this 'service fee'. CAlled 3 times and I was transferred and then cut off. Somebody needs to shut down this FRAUDULENT SITE.

If I could give this company less than one star, I would. It's a 0! I ordered flowers for a beloved family member's funeral out of state. I was unable to attend. I called the day of the funeral to verify my flowers were delivered. Come to find out, my order was cancelled and refunded. They said they sent me an email. I found it among my junk mail. I never would have seen the notification. They claimed supply chain issues. Terrible!!!!!! I feel so bad. I wanted to do something nice for my family.

I sent my Daughter in Law Flowers for Mother's Day. I paid $100 for the flowers plus $18 service charge plus tax. The flowers did arrive as promised but many of them were dead or dying. Might be due to the fact that there was no water in the vase. I called and complained hoping that they would offer to send a replacement bouquet - I was asked to send pictures which were sent, we then received an email asking for further explanation of what the issue was - Design? Quality? etc, etc - we responded that the issue was that there were dead flowers which should have been apparent from the pictures. No response. I had been told by the woman who I spoke with on the phone that they were going to "do an investigation" and we would have an answer within 48 hours - about 54 hours later I called back and the same young woman answered the phone - again asked for the order number and stated that this was the first time she was hearing about this. I asked to speak to the manager but was told that they had already left - it was 3:15 in the afternoon. She once again told me that she was going to report this "higher up" I'm sorry I didn't check the reviews first before ordering from this company - stay far away.

I wouldn’t even give them one star but that option is not available horrible company, horrible lady rude inconsiderate. They did not deliver the flowers that were supposed to be delivered. I didn’t get a phone call. I didn’t get anything. Just there was no delivery done and when I called to find out, she said oh we didn’t have all the flowers we needed for your delivery so you just didn’t do it after I paid you $100 yeah never use this company

I WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE THEY RIP PEOPLE OFF, THEY TOOK MY MONEY 89 DOLLARS AND THEN 5 SECONDS LATER SENT AN EMAIL SAYING THEY APOLOGIZE BUT CANNOT MEET DEMAND AFTER THEY UPGRADED TO 59.00 FROM 49.00 BECAUSE THSY DIDNT HAVE THE SMALLER BOUQUET... OF COURSE ITS 3 TO 5 BUSINESS DAYS TO GET MY REFUND

If I could give 0 stars I would. We placed an order on Wednesday for Mothers Day flowers to be sent to my boyfriends mom who lives away from us. It said the flowers would be delivered between Friday and Sunday. The flowers NEVER came, we were not contacted about this or nothing. I called today they said they had a “supply chain issue” and will issue a refund. Refused to resend any sort of flowers they had in stock after ruining her Mothers Day. If they would have even called us it wouldn’t be such an issue we could have tried to order from somewhere else. Absolutely a disgrace and I never leave bad reviews, but this was entirely wrong. They also refused to let me speak to a manager.
