Just taken a delivery of one of their knives. Definitely not a legitimate Japanese knife supplier. BE AWARE_ this is a cheap Chinese company who has created a quality on line presence. There is no literature with the knife, packaging and presentation box is just adequate. Believe no review that is positive, they will be fake. On further research, the market is flooded with fake Japanese knives, thanks to our Chinese friends. I guess there is no surprise there. Be warned, keep well away from this company.

As most people who bought these knives have stated they are cheap stainless steel laser engraved to look like Damascus steel. They do not hold an edge, after one use they require sharpening. They look nice but not worth the asking price web site should be taken down for giving false information. Where are the advertising standards agency when you need them.

Bought knife before I read the reviews. Took weeks to get here and then it was obvious it was laser etched to look like Damascus. I asked for a refund and they assured me that it was real Damascus but offered me 25% money back. When I asked them to put it in writing, that is was not laser etched they told me to send back. They insisted it was sent tracked, rather than just signed for and the postage cost me over £8. I did get my money back but I am out of pocket the postage.
I also photographed the knife, packaging etc in case there was any dispute

Complete lie, the box weighs more than the knife itself and it was £80+. Complete crap

True forged Damascus is extraordinarily expensive. In general, it is 33 layers folded and forged. Damascus is forged from 'wooz" steel, A high-carbon mixture of specific metals. The pattern in Damascus is achieved by the metals and the forging process. Damascus was the top tier of metal in its day, but modern metals and forging processes can produce tougher and sharper blades. True Damascus forging is a lost art. Modern techniques cannot reproduce the "Damasuc effect." There are modern blacksmiths who study the lost art and they can specifically replicate as close as possible wooz steel ingots (molecular tube structures) and the art of forging and folding. These blades are valued at 10s of thousands of dollars.

The product arrived eventually however the product does not match the pictures on the web.
Poor quality product.
It is not Damascus steel and is fake Chinese rubbish.
You could buy one on Temu for £15.
I have sent numerous emails to return product but I’m not getting a reply.
The phone number you can get on the web is not working.

I bought the cleaver after reading the reviews on here and their website so took a chance. So glad I did, the cleaver arrived in three weeks, it’s very well balanced, good weight and as sharp as a razor.
It cuts through raw and cooked meat like a hot knife through butter. On the other end of the scale it will slice a cherry tomato as thin as paper without crushing it, all this at an incredible price! It comes in a sheath with a sharpening stone and the tracking only stalled between countries flight customs. The tracking was accurate until flight but then picked up by Royal Mail in the UK and delivered as said.
Super happy with this purchase!!!

So angry with myself, I ordered 2 knives for my sons for Christmas, was given a tracking number and they haven’t sent the parcel, I normally check reviews but didn’t this time, after reading the very poor comments I have messaged them to cancel and refund, fingers crossed. I will not buy anything from China so fuming.

My knife broke after 3 months I’m in correspondence but by the look of the comments here I’m not going to get anywhere . Avoid !

Found it cheaper after buying and to be fair to seller he refunded the difference. Knife is fine sharpens much better than a Victorinox, so I' happy enough with it.

Like others ordered knives which look beautiful on their site and claimed to be carbon steel/ multiple forged damascus. Arrived items priced at 400 quid are fake laser engraved non damascus steel and look totally different to those advertised. I should have checked reviews here because in their website, they mimic Trustpilot stars/reviews and those are positive and fake. Dealing with PayPal to cancel buy in 3 deal and to get my refund. Avoid unless you love trouble.

Don't buy anything form these people .
The knives are beyond poor quality when they eventually arrive .
The edge on mine lasted a week and has now crumbled .
I doubt it's Damascus either. It looks lazer etched.
I don't need tge hassle of trying to return it and getting nowhere so I'll take the loss

Terrible company to deal with. In the process of trying to return a knife set. The parcel arrived with a UK address and the website states they will provide a return shipping label. They refused to provide me with a label and insisted I return the set to an address in China. The package is now stuck in China, undelivered, and they are not responding to me. Avoid this company at all costs.

AVOID THIS 'COMPANY'!! Ordered a knife on 15th January, emailed on the 26th for an update as status was still showing as 'Order Confirmed'. Received an email in response waffling on about shipping leads without actually committing to a delivery date. Status changed to 'In Transit' and a Royal Mail tracking ref was provided. We are now on the 10th Feb and Royal Mail website is still showing they haven't actually received the item - Sakuto simply raised a tracking number to appease me it seems. When I emailed again to query I received a reply blaming Covid-19 for the logistical issues. Have requested a refund 3 times now and still haven't received confirmation this is being processed. This morning I received an email stating package will be delivered in 5-9 business days. I replied informing them it is no longer wanted as I have already ordered an alternative from a different website which was delivered in 2 days! Luckily I paid through Paypal so will be raising the issue with them and hopefully will get my money back. I highly doubt this is a legitimate company and wish I had checked reviews before ordering. Avoid at all costs - do not give them your money!!

Ordered on 23rd January, and dispatch was 26th. Arrived 9th February.
Edited my review as the seller did eventually reply but please note that the postage is not 5-10 days for the UK as stated on the website.
However it did arrive and is as described.
Changing review from 1* to 4*.

Ordered set of knives on Boxing Day, they haven’t arrived yet… have sent several emails that the company has not responded too have also tried to call them on there contact no which is a mobile that is always switched off.. starting to wonder if they are a legitimate company

Ordered a full set of knives on november 25th and as of 18th December have still not recieved, no confirmation or tracking has been provided, cannot get in contact with anyone bar an automated email to tell me my email will be answered in 2-3 days, which it is not. No christmas present and have lost almost £300 😔 AVOID!

I ordered a knife on 6th November, I received this on Tuesday 22nd November, fair enough it came within the quoted time frame of 12-19 days, however my issues are that they sent me completely the wrong item. Not even remotely close to what I ordered. I emailed to say I needed the correct item sending asap as this is for a Christmas gift, they said they would send me one out the next day but it will take another 12-19 days. I said that’s ok but I asked for the new tracking number so I can see when this is going to arrive, they have not responded to my emails asking for this and I have chased it multiple times. I have now asked for a refund and address to send the wrong item back to and again no response.

Stay clear of this seller as you’re more than likely going to encounter issues.

Am still waiting for my knife. Have sent three emails for an update on tracking and not received a response as yet. That’s very worrying. No update in tracking ordered on the 6th nov tracking updated on 7th and it’s gone no further . Will try phoning but it looks like a mobile number . Hope to hear from them now for some comforting update

Sadly I have only just read the reviews regarding this Company. They are a joke do not respond to emails and the phone number on their web site (a mobile) is always switched off. There is simply no way of contacting them. I ordered a full set of knives and received a tracking number from Sakuto. I placed the order in Oct 22 and it showed the order as being processed and subsequently out for delivery in May 22!! After finally getting hold of Royal Mail they confirmed that the order was not even for me.

Please avoid this company that are not what they seem from their web site.

What I am experiencing seems par for the course so I suspect I can kiss my money goodbye
