Their customer service is disgusting!! Do not offer any credit or compensation for their mistake on a gift card I ordered online. I ordered 2 gift cards and one was incorrect. Called them and they advised there is nothing they can do except, suggested I drive an hour and a half to the City for them to print me a new one!! Will never shop with them again.

I love the look/aesthetic of their products, but the markups are just excessive. I had a gold soldered stinger chain bracelet in 2023 and paid $220. Today in 2024 the exact same item is sold for $450. How do they justify this? The cost of their silver items are also shocking. I used to make my own silver jewellery so I know how much it’s actually worth.

I contacted SARAH & SEBASTIAN via email to request a replacement or refund for my permanent soldered bracelet, explaining that it fell off unexpectedly despite being advertised as permanent. The company responded by stating that their policy does not cover "lost jewellery" and refused my request. They emphasised that since the bracelet was lost rather than broken, they could not offer a repair or replacement.

This response did not meet my expectations as the bracelet was marketed as long-lasting. I believe their refusal to address the issue, despite the product failing to live up to its intended purpose, is unfair and misleading.

Poor quality. Two necklaces broke from normal wear. Customer service was a disgrace.

Absolutely poor quality earrings, spent $300 for them to continuously break not once but 4 times. the quality is extremely bad and even worse customer service. Better buying from shien.

If I could give zero stars I would. Be very careful of their studs - extremely high price point and they fall apart after a few months, like literally fall out of your ears. They don't tell you this when they put them in, that the front of the earring screws on to the post that goes into your lobe. Over time apparently they "come loose" according to their customer service. They only tell you this once the earrings are lost of course. They say they advise customers to check them over time. I had two double piercings on separate occasions and was never advised of this once. Even after the first earring fell out, which to be fair they replaced this one "as a goodwill gesture" as it happened like two weeks after they put them in - but didn't tell me it would likely happen again nor the reason why it happened! I would have asked for a refund and gone somewhere professional. So I had this happen twice with their studs - both within six months. Terrible communication and customer service from this brand. One of their reps actually told me the second time if it was faulty it would have happened earlier lol. But then another one says "they come loose over time". I've had earrings from many high end brands over the years and this has never happened to me before. The studs I lost were $295 and $175 EACH stud. Don't bother with this overpriced, badly made brand.

Zero customer service post purchase. Failed bracelet after two weeks and they don't even have the courtesy to reply to multiple emails. Poor quality.

Disappointing Experience with Sarah & Sebastian: Poor Quality and Lackluster Customer Service

As a loyal customer of Sarah & Sebastian, I have always held the brand in high regard for its exquisite craftsmanship and timeless designs. However, my recent experience with their product and aftercare customer service has left me utterly disheartened and disillusioned.

For Mother's Day, I received a soldered bracelet from Sarah & Sebastian as a gift from my boys. Initially, I was enamored by its delicate beauty and intricate design. However, my enthusiasm soon turned to dismay when the bracelet began to show signs of wear and tear after only a few months of occasional wear.

The chain of the bracelet started to stretch inexplicably, rendering the piece unwearable. Hoping to salvage my cherished gift, I reached out to Sarah & Sebastian's soldered aftercare customer service, only to be met with further disappointment. Despite their assurance of quality and craftsmanship, I was informed that the bracelet couldn't be repaired due to the chain stretching issue.

To add insult to injury, the proposed solution offered by the company was utterly inadequate. Instead of rectifying the issue or offering a suitable replacement, I was offered a measly $40 credit towards the purchase of a new chain. Shockingly, the replacement chain cost well over $200, making the offer seem more like an insult than a gesture of goodwill.

It's evident that Sarah & Sebastian's products do not live up to their promised quality and longevity. As a consumer who has invested in multiple pieces from this brand, including necklaces and earrings, I expected better durability and customer service. Unfortunately, this experience has shattered my trust and confidence in the brand.

In conclusion, I will not be purchasing from Sarah & Sebastian in the future, and I caution others against investing in their products. It's regrettable to witness a once-revered brand succumb to such poor quality and lackluster customer support. Buyer beware: Sarah & Sebastian may not deliver the enduring quality and service they profess to provide.

Loved my experience with Sophie at Sarah and Sebastian. I had a few issues and she jumped on board fixed absolutely everything and never hand balled the problem to anyone else. The customer service I received was excellent. She was very polite to deal with and kept me up to date on everything. Thank you so much for fixing my issues with a great outcome in the end.

I love how dainty and simple their jewellery so I bought multiple stud earrings with diamonds in it as it looked really beautiful however the screw from the earring gets loosened all the time and I have lost either the lock or the actual diamond stud which I have to replace. Its very disappointing that the price for a piece of stud doesn’t justify its value as its craftsmanship isn’t that good. 😔

Sarah and Sebastian has had a quality issue. I also have several friends in the same boat. Broken earrings and necklace- lost earrings due to backings being of inadequate quality. NEVER AGAIN! - i got sucked in a few times as designs are lovely- but the cost VS quality and warrenty is not worth it. Do Better Sarah and Sebastian.

Don’t waste your hard earned money on this company!! I purchased gold hoops for $950 two years ago. I barely wear them as I keep them for special occasions, however they snapped within the first year with Sarah & Sebastian refusing to repair them, after a lot of complaining though they agreed to repair them, however they have now AGAIN snapped a year later with barely any wear. I would have expected A LOT better quality for $950 - clearly VERY poor workmanship and/or quality! You’d be better off with Prouds or Michael Hill.

Purchased a really lovely ring as part of a 21st gift - very delicate with opals set into a gold band. Unfortunately within a few months of irregular wear, an opal fell out and few others in the setting became loose. Contacted customer service in order to get the ring repaired - not expecting any favours - just wanted the opal replaced and the others secured in the setting. In dealing with customer service, there appeared to more concern with where the ring was purchased (David Jones as an agent for S & S) than in the repair which ultimately I was told was not the possible. Very disappointing particularly as the ring was a 21st gift which is now no longer worn. If something is put on the market, then have a back up plan if customers have problems rather than saying the flaw is permanent.
