I had Wandsworth Sash Windows replace seven sash windows in my house – five at the front including a bay on the ground floor, and two more elsewhere. The whole process was really straightforward and easy. The work was done by Nishan and Bipi who were brilliant from the moment they arrived. They had a long drive to get to me in Heathfield every day, but they were always cheerful and positive. They worked incredibly hard and barely took a break – even when I tried to offer them tea, they just smiled and carried on.

The windows look amazing and you can really see the quality in the finish. I’ve already had a few neighbours comment on how nice they look from the outside, which says a lot. It’s made a real difference to the house. You can tell Nishan and Bipi really care about doing things properly, and they left everything clean and tidy when they were done.

Overall, I’m really happy I went with Wandsworth Sash Windows. Great team, great windows, and a job really well done. Would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking about getting their sash windows replaced. Solid five stars from me.

These guys really know their stuff!!! When they arrived the technicians clearly explained their method of working and what they were going to do. I really appreciated that because replacing windows is not something I have ever done before so it was all completely new to me. I was really reassured and the technicians did the job so well. I did spot a couple of bits that I thought needed a bit of extra work which I pointed out to them and they happily dealt with for me.

WSW replaced 8 sash windows, two of which needed extensive repairs to the box just shy of a full box replacement. Despite the challenge, John and Shaun did a great job and the results look as good as new. Excellent team and I can't recommend them enough.

I had two rear casement windows fitted and, despite a slightly longer lead time than expected, I am very satisfied.

The windows themselves are excellent quality and have made a big difference to the comfort and appearance.

There was a small issue I noticed just after installation, but I was really impressed with how professionally and quickly the team responded, it was dealt with without any fuss and to a high standard. It’s clear the company genuinely cares about delivering a great service and standing by their work. The installation was tidy. I’d be happy to use Wandsworth Sash Windows again.

I had 3 windows fitted by WSW a few years ago. Recently I had a problem where one of the windows was difficult to operate up and down as has normally been the case in the years since the window was fitted.

I knew I had a guarantee with WSW so I contacted them and asked for their help. There was no wrangling or quibbling, they helped me right away and got someone booked in to fix it for me.

The fix only needed 10 minutes on site but it is beyond my capabilities to know what is best to do. I’m glad they were there to help and it’s impressive the service they are still willing to provide many years after I had my windows fitted. It reduces my stress knowing that they can do that for me.

Had four new front sash windows installed by Wandsworth Sash Windows and couldn’t be happier with the result. The quality of the windows is excellent, and they’ve really improved both the look and warmth of the house. Jon and his colleague were fantastic — professional, skilled, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I had a mixed experience with Wandsworth Sash Windows. The craftsmanship was good, and the staff helpful, but there were small issues like paint finishes that needed fixing later. They did address the concerns, but overall, their service was not flawless. It’s decent, but I wouldn’t call it perfect. 3 stars.

I had Wandsworth Sash Windows come to my house in Tooting, South West London, to fit four new windows, and I have to say, I’m really happy with how everything turned out. Two of the windows were just new timber sashes fitted into the old box frames, and the other two were complete new box sash windows with timber double-glazed sashes. The windows look fantastic, and they’ve already made a big difference in keeping the house warmer and more comfortable.

The fitter, Vasile, was great. He worked hard, was super tidy, and clearly cared about doing a good job. You can tell he takes pride in his work because everything was done to such a high standard. He cleaned up really well after himself, and it was nice to see someone pay attention to the little details. Honestly, it’s rare to find someone with that kind of attitude, and it made the whole process a lot easier.

James in the office was also really helpful and always got back to me quickly whenever I had a question. He made sure everything went smoothly, and it felt like the company really cares about their customers, which isn’t always the case with tradespeople.

The windows themselves are top quality — they open and close perfectly, and the finish on the timber is really nice. The house feels a lot warmer, and the noise from outside has definitely gone down too, which has been a nice bonus. I’m sure the better insulation will help with energy bills as well, so it feels like a worthwhile investment.

I was so pleased with the whole experience that I’ve already told my neighbours about Wandsworth Sash Windows, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone thinking about getting new windows. From start to finish, everything was straightforward, and I felt like I was in good hands the whole way through.

WSW were able to respond incredibly quickly, easily located the issue and solved it quickly, professionally and at a fair and reasonable price.

Work is of a very high standard and work area was left clean and tidy.

A huge credit to the trade and highly recommended.

Had Wandsworth Sash Windows round to my place to swap out all 7 front windows for new timber double-glazed sashes, and honestly, I can’t believe the difference. The house looks so good now that I keep randomly stepping outside to admire the windows like some kind of proud parent.

The team were brilliant — proper friendly, turned up on time, and worked like absolute machines. The fitters were tidy, careful, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. It was almost hypnotic watching them work, though I had to stop lurking around because I was worried I looked weird.

The windows themselves are amazing. No more rattling when the wind blows, and the house already feels warmer (which I’m hoping means slightly less horrifying energy bills). It’s like living in a quieter, cosier, much fancier version of my own home.

Now the only downside is that my back windows look tragic in comparison. It’s like having a posh front room and a student flat out back. I guess it’s time to start saving up to get Wandsworth Sash Windows back to finish the job — unless I can convince the dog to start earning his keep.

I recently had new windows installed by Wandsworth Sash Windows, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and incredibly skilled. The fitters were punctual, and courteous, and took great care to ensure everything was installed to the highest standard even making sure my cat didnt escape at any point.

Not only do my new windows look fantastic, their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction truly set them apart. I highly recommend to anyone looking for high-quality windows and exceptional service, shout out to Matthew who helped me with many questions!

Windows arrived with noticeable scratch marks.
Contacted Nathan at the first instant who expressed installers would make good these flaws and re-manufacture if needed.
Installers eventually were able to fix these.

I requested a 2nd visit as there was a gap between the bead and box. This was scheduled with no quibble. Furthermore, took place within 3 days.

Lastly, there seemed to be a discrepancy with payment schedules between a document I was sent and the most up to date practice. However, Nathan and Matthew kindly went with the schedule I preferred.

Very happy with the manner in which problems were resolved. Windows also turned out splendidly, with the Victorian look I expected.

Finally I have been able to asses my experience with Wandsworth Sash Windows which is as follows

The first issue was with the communication with instillation was very confusing. I chased for an update as I’d not heard from my contact and it had passed my estimated date, I was then informed that she had left but assured all was well

There then was a lot of back and fourth with if we should leave the shutters up or take them down, this was also the first time I was told that I would be providing the scaffolding?!! This had never been mentioned to me in the whole process and James and Nathan both knew this to be true with my reaction which was of total shock and anger!
This was never mentioned to me at any stage including when visited by Mark,but of course was hidden in very small print in the contract that I had signed. I do hold the company responsible though as on the recapping of the order this should have been flagged to me, I’ve also never heard of a window company that doesn’t provide the equipment needed to install the windows this shouldn’t be at the customers cost.
This was an additional cost to me of £900

Installation day one the scaffolding goes up in the neighbours garden this isn’t used until day 2 as the removal of the living room window is first

I understand there would be mess but the level of mess, dust,dirt and damage to walls around the flat were unacceptable
There was damage to the communal hall way,scuff marks to the walls even a hole in the wall on one of the levels, dirt on the carpets

In the flat it was like a bomb had gone off only a couple of dust sheets were used but not enough to protect the surrounding areas

Day two the kitchen window is removed only at the end if the day when the job was supposed to be completed were we told they would need to come back to finish the job as the windows had been delivered without the hinges and handles !

The job shouldn’t have been booked in if it couldn’t be completed due to missing parts this is so unprofessional and inconvenient

The fitters then came back the following day saying the missing parts were to be delivered on the day so they could complete the job, it got to lunch time when I got an email from the office saying the missing parts couldn’t be delivered until later that evening but the fitters weren’t able to stay and finish the job so the kitchen window was nailed shut with a wooden post

It wasn’t until Friday that the job was to be completed by a different fitter so this two day installation is now day 5 which has caused massive issues with the neighbours who have the scaffolding in their garden

On completion day the window frames are filled and sanded but to a very low standard, the living room window had been painted/freshened up as quoted in the contract but again to a very poor standard the paint was almost see through. There were numerous marks and scuffs on the brand new windows caused by the fitters which had had to be repainted

On completion day we couldn’t get any answer from James as to when the scaffolding would be taken away,he even gave us the number to arrange removal ourselves

Two if our neighbours complained about the mess which included glass and rubble on their roof and in their garden which wasn’t cleaned up by the fitters, one if the fitters was a young boy obviously training up so there’s no excuse for the mess to left and not cleaned up after themselves

The disappointment and stress caused by this company is disgusting, there’s a real lack of care and when questioned there seems to be a lot of blame thrown towards other people rather than the company taking responsibility for the errors

We also have damage to our very expensive shutters that was caused by the fiiters which James has told me to source repair for and they will cover which I’m in the process of doing

So on summery the windows are good but the whole experience was one which I would not repeat. There needs to be a level of compensation for the numerous errors and stress caused by this company as I’ve paid for a service that wasn’t received. When I spoke to the fitter he didn’t seem surprised by the errors and even comentated that James in the office was used to getting complaints! In fact he even enjoyed it ! So I’m guessing this complaint will come as no surprise

Had a number of sash windows replaced by WSW. They were not the cheapest quote and so I was expecting good quality for the money paid. I am pleased to report that they exceeded my expectations. Their service and product is great, these guys really know what they’re doing!

Great communication and very efficient work! I was quoted 2 days, but the guys who fitted my new windows did it in a day.

This company gave first class service , the work teams were helpful , polite and are excellent craftsman .Any problems were quickly solved by Matthew , one of
of the directors. The wooden sash windows are beautifully made . I would certainly use this company again and would not hesitate to recommend them .

The company, Wandsworth Sash Windows, is not a cheap one, but it delivers top quality products and services. We were installing complicated new double glazed bay windows in the living room and two smaller windows in the bedroom, in our flat of 19th century Victorian house in a London's preservation area. The fabricated windows were top quality, fitted perfectly, the whole work was done by just a duo of workers, nothing was disturbed, or damaged on the facade or interior of the rooms, and all that had to be dismantled prior installation were perfectly reinstalled by them. The whole work was done just in three days, right on time, by masterful carpenters -- Matt and his assistant Owen. They were both kind, considerate, helpful, funny; it was such a pleasure to deal with them! Overall it was a great experience. Thank you!
