Yes they responded to my complaint of…
Yes they responded to my complaint of old tasting crab but did nothing. After two more communications all the help I got was that Seafresh have five star reviews.
Responding to a customer complaint with an email, then nothing is not a good response.
Dreadful tasting crab, not off, just tasted like tin crab or maybe it’s just been frozen far too long.
Right now, after being ignored for weeks, I’m again reminded of the Seafresh high Trustpilot score.
Seafresh had the opportunity to request I send them the remaining frozen crab portion for a taste test. Seafresh did not.
A recent comment from Seafresh to myself after posting this review is that they have been preparing a parcel of replacement but because of my complaint Seafresh are now reluctant to replace my crab.
I have just been refunded the cost of the offending crabmeat plus 50% of courier costs, whilst this need not have taken weeks nor the need for me to add a negative review, most only do this in desperation which is the reason in my case.

Hi Richard, this is so unfair - Jeff was speaking to you YESTERDAY, we have spoken to you on Facebook and by email - Jeff asked you what a fair resolution would be and you said a replacement of crab...It's the day after we spoke, you have not given us time any time to arrange this and yet you have posted a 1 star review?? That is so very unreasonable of you, even after we have been working on your replacement parcel today. Is there any point? I am now reluctant to proceed with anything for you. We have a 5 star rating because we DO help our customers and DO put things right. We can't do that if you don't give us a chance to do so.
For anyone reading this review Richard Roggan is correct. We emailed Richard to ask him what he felt would be a fair resolution. He suggested that we replaced the crab. It's been just 11 hours since he sent the email. He then posted his 1 star review before we have had a chance to oblige. In my opinion you should give someone the opportunity to put things right before dishing out the insults.
For anyone reading this, Richard Roggan contacted us ONE week ago ( Facebook posts available to see). We had spoken to him on FB and by email & already agreed to replace the Crab for him ( as stated above / emails also available to see, this was BEFORE Mr Roggan posted the review and BEFORE we had chance to do this Richard left a one star review. Not the other way round as you are led to believe in his posts. Totally unfair. We have refunded the crab AND half the delivery costs for him ( he also had kippers) this was regardless of any reviews (not because of as Richard said) and this matter is now closed.

Amazing low histimine fish, life changing honestly!
I have MCAS and wanted some low histimine fish that would be ok for me to eat. I have bought frozen fish from the supermarket and it was just so disappointing so I held out little hope for seafresh. I was so wrong! The fish from them is DELICIOUS, just as good as fresh fish. The fish arrived in time and perfectly frozen and I love that I can return the packaging to reduce waste. They only have cod and salmon in stock currently but can't wait until they have more varieties I can try.

Hi Rebecca, so glad you tried us, there is a huge difference with the fish, sourcing, glaze, freezing times and how it's frozen etc. Frozen at sea is the freshest fish you can get! You can cook from frozen, lose foil in the oven 180, 25-30 mins and the fish steams to perfection :-) Hopefully we will have more types frozen at sea soon. thanks again for the review

Third delivery from Seafresh
Because of the quality of produce from Seafresh, we have made them our go to supplier of seafood. The haddock, prawns, tempura prawns, fish cakes and crab are superior to any we are able to source locally. This time we ordered chilli and mango prawns, have yet to try them but they look promising

Second order in bulk from Seafresh. Tried Salmon this time! Already a convert to their cod and haddock. Absolutely delicious fish. Salmon will be on my regular order list now too. Arrived on time, frozen solid. Will never buy supermarket fish again after finding this company.
