Lovely Shellfish excellent quality good delivery what more can I say except would not buy fish anywhere else. Sometimes some seafood is a little bit expensive, but you get what you pay for, and good quality is worth shelling out a little more, so to speak, my crab shells are stacking up now .

Definitely Recommend for Frozen Food Orders
Food order was delivered in very good condition all neatly packed in padded packaging surrounded by dry ice packs keeping everything frozen & fresh on receipt of delivery. Any issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently. Oven ready foods tasty and easy for the need of quicker meals, meat, fish orders fresh and sufficiently portioned where necessary. I do recommend this company and have used several times myself and all orders received as advised. Will definitely be using again.

Hi Maureen, we spoke to Dene last week about the crab claws, it’s unusual for the meat not to just come out easily so we think they had been next to the dry ice in the parcel, we try an protect any crab, scallops, prawns etc from the dry ice touching it as it can in some cases freezer burn / stick to the product. So i think thats what has happened here. We don;t want you to be disappointed and we will always look into things for you, luckily we don’t have many issues. So we have refunded the amount for the Crab Claws and Dene said everything else looked great ( you have picked some great items so hopefully that was just a blip). The review is for the whole order for delivery, service, food, packaging etc - if you want to review another you can on the website and i also mentioned to Dene you can edit this review if you feel things have been resolved. Enjoy the rest of your order and please let us know if we can help with anything at all. Thank you

The best fish by a country mile
The best fish by a country mile. Our favourite is salmon but the cod and hake are also excellent. Ordering is straight forward and delivery is always on time. Totally reliable and we will continue to order from this 1st. class operation.

sub-Tesco quality, with nothing to sing about at all, but at a premium price.~
Well, I tried the crab first and it failed to impress me much. Tasteless. Salty, but lacking any Umami.
I then tried the swordfish steak, and it was like chewing a slab of tasteless pointless something. Meaty, but unsatisfying.
I was hoping the ribeye steak would redeem the order, but I am sad to say, that it was sub-Tesco quality, with nothing to sing about at all, but at a premium price.~
So sadly I have to downgrade my review to 'boring' and not to be repeated.

However, when we get a complaint about 3 out of 3 products ..... we have to accept that on this occasion we have lost you as a customer.

Crab was sub-par.
We ordered three different items, and so this review is based on the only one we have eaten so far - the dressed Cromer crab. The review might change after eating the other products,
I would describe the frozen crab as disappointing. I've eaten fresh dressed crab in Cornwall, Oban and Fife, and this is below par in flavour and presentation. Frankly the crab - once defrosted carefully according to the instructions - was lacking in the crabby delights that I would expect - it was not what a crab should not be - it was rather dull and tasteless.

Hi Robert, it's not often we have a two star review. Usually anything below 4 star relates to a delivery issue rather than a food quality issue. The dressed crab is one of our top selling products and usually the subject of rave reviews. However, we're not perfect - so please accept my apologies if the dressed crab you have had is below our usual standard. If it's okay with you I'll let you try the Ribeye steaks and the Swordfish before deciding what to do about the crab. Thanks

Superb seafood!
Very prompt delivery, superb packing, everything as described. But, the food quality was way above expectation! It’s still a matter of puzzlement to me that it’s so much better than even the premium product of the supermarkets.
Still, we are where we are, and I’m just about to re-order along with some food parcels for friends and relatives. They need to experience the difference.
