I've been using Simply Cook for years and I love them. Loads of variety, an easy to use app and the speedy response to emails is always great. And super helpful! The meals are all generally pretty easy and quick to cook. Tasty meals and a great price.

Simply cook offer lovely, delicious easy to prepare meals. They are highly responsive to any queries and questions and I’ve always had a positive experience with them. Great customer service. Would highly recommend

We have used SimplyCook for 8/9 years now and we absolutely love how tasty and simple the meals are. We particularly enjoy the teriyaki salmon donburi, crispy chilli beef, panneer spinach curry, miso cod donburi and moghul chicken curry. We could go on. One dish we do miss though is the west African peanut stew. I can see us using SimplyCook for years to come and look forward to any new recipes you are yet to bring out. Thank you

The food was OK and the online experience seemed pretty good. But I just hate the old school marketing ploy of trial offers that roll over into an automatic subscription. You can actually let people do a trial and then prompt them to sign up. It really wasn't made obvious, even if I'm sure there was some small print somewhere.

Good recipes, however was marketed to seem like Hello Fresh. Misleading, as they only send you "flavour pots" - thankfully I realised before payment! I had a £1.98 offer from Emma's Diary, which made it a reasonable purchase. However, it is astounding that they charge £11.98 as a standard! All you get is a recipe card and 3 "flavour pots" (better described as Mcdonalds ketchup packs) per meal.

Edit: Despite not signing up for this past the one discounted box, they have, without consent, put me on a subscription list. I was given 1 days notice to cancel, before they would have charged us £11.98 for a box we didn't order!

Really tasty easy to use recipes and ingredients that give you inspiration when you have no idea what to cook. Very responsive team when you need to pause or delay deliveries. Ideal for students to use at uni when I'm feeling generous about sharing my boxes. Would definitely recommend.

I won a 97 pence "pay postage-only" one off pack from SimplyCook after purchasing an applicance from a different retailler. However, a month later they have charged me £12 for their service even though I never signed up to any kind of subscription! This practice should be illegal - I never gave them consent to store my card details or to start a subscription. I will be attempting to get my money back for this fraudulent charge.

I’ve had Simoly Cook now for a lot of years and have several favourites dishes, so easy to make with minimal ingredients and I could never replicate the lovely sauces at home. Always excellent customer service too and nice touches such as complimentary boxes occasionally if your favourite recipes are being phased out etc

Have used Simply Cook for many years. They save me time deciding what to cook some nights, I love to cook fresh food, but do love that these pots save me time making my own sauces/rubs/seasonings from scratch. I must have tried the majority of recipes, all are tasty.
The recipes can be adapted to suit family needs/likes/dislikes and I can make a decent portion size, I find the subscriptions which include all the ingredients have tiny portions. Now my daughter is more adventurous with what she eats it would cost a fortune to buy those meals to feed 3, but with Simply Cook it's just a matter of adding a bit more meat, veg and carbs, and occasionally reducing the spice content for her....but adding more to the pot for me and my husband, once her portion has been plated up.
Have never had issues with pausing or delaying my subscription.

We got way out of step with our deliveries due to work and travel commitments and asked to pause our programme for a couple of months but not cancel. Simply Cook were simply brilliant and totally understood.

Look Fantastic were offering a £1.79 deal for Simply Cook which I purchased, needless to say it automatically signed me up for monthly deliveries at nearly £12 per month. That’s two months of payments before I realised what was happening. So, my advice? Don’t sign up for any “offers” on other websites.

I updated my delivery address in my account before placing my order, so I reasonably expected that address to be used. Despite this, my trial box was sent to a different address and I never received it.
When the delivery window passed, I contacted customer support, explained that my box hadn't arrived, and confirmed my correct delivery address. Rather than investigating where the parcel had gone or explaining why an incorrect address had been used, I later received an automated email asking whether I had enjoyed my order. There is also no telephone support, so there was no way to resolve the issue quickly.
As things stand today, the issue remains unresolved and I have cancelled my subscription because I have no confidence that future deliveries will reach me.
If SimplyCook investigates what happened, resolves the issue promptly and professionally, I will happily update this review to reflect that.

It is a Great Help for Meals Preparations.

Easy recipes, only have to buy a few ingredients to make the meals.
All the meals come to under £5 (with the simply cook sauces). They’re really tasty and varied. Makes me understand cooking a bit more, what goes together etc.
Would recommend.

The recipes are excellent - I would say exceptionally so. I have been a subscriber for quite some time but take the occasional break etc. The only reason I did not give 5 out of 5 stars is because it has been a bit tricky trying to contact anyone. You have to make contact via email only. They are getting better! The response time is no longer 12 days and this time it was within 24 hours but, they are a big company now and I would have thought a phone option or perhaps a chat option would be available. Every single recipe we have tried/tested, has been lovely. We do often order one or two which we have had in the past but, we do like to try new and interesting additions on the list. There is a lot to choose from. This is much better and more suitable for our family than something which includes the actual food. We had too many disappointing experiences with other company food boxes. I nearly always keep items like chicken and prawns in freezer (we are not vegetarians!) but, their veggie dishes are also excellent. These little boxes have given me more inspiration, enthusiasm and a bit of excitement into cooking after years and years in the kitchen wondering what to make! One other thing worth mentioning is that we find their dishes classed as MEDIUM - spice - are actually quite hot. Perfectly ok for us but, perhaps a little too hot and spicy for young children. We tried one of our friends HOT dishes a few months ago and we were still feeling the heat the next day!

Was under the impression all ingredients came in the boxes, this is what would save you time and money like other companies that provide the same service but was disappointed to find out it’s such flavouring/sauce pots which most people have in abundance at home anyway. So still have to go to the supermarket and purchase most of the ingredients. Not to say it was bad because they did taste nice and provide instructions but yet all this can be found online anyway.

Works perfectly for me! I get a recipe and the seasoning… and enjoy bringing together the suggested ingredients. Love it 👌🏻
