Impossible to actually speak to someone, you are directed to use either email or WhatsApp, but you don't get replies to these either - it says they will get back to you 'as soon as possible' - which is when, exactly?! The excuse seems to be that the team is busy picking orders, but the 1-3 day despatch estimate doesn't seem to happen - when you read the small print, it says that 'during busy periods, times may vary slightly' - with the caveat that sales periods are particularly busy, but then it looks as if they always have special offers on, so...?? Now, a week after having ordered, sent two emails and one WhatsApp (apart from the phone calls) no reply and no updates - very poor service, and therefore cannot recommend Singer Outlet at all.

Ordered and paid for a sewing machine on 18th April. It is now 28th April and I’ve heard nothing more. Tried tracking but got nowhere, except to,say they’re really busy. Left 3 emails with Customer Service with no reply. Tried a Chat online but Jason was “not at his desk” and would send me an email. Tried using the contact phone number found on line and the number is unknown. Now what ??????

Upon ordering I requested double stitch needles that were not supplied.

The machine that was purchas was reduced in price over the next week or two.
I contacted Singer as I was within my consumer rights to return and obtain a reduction but the price was not honoured.

I was disappointed to say the least.

Ordered a dress form. Item is not upto the job measurements given to order are Bust, Waist and Hips which were fine. However the form does need to also have length. It does not lengthen out. TRIED THREE times to ask for returns process via e-mail. WAS IGONORED. Tried to call and the answer message said e-mail. Eventually got someone on Chat who said they would answer within the hour. The same person answered the e-mail and tried to infer they had replied to my previous e-mail. Then we get to the returns process. Due to time delays IGNORING my request to return the cardboard box it was sent in had been disposed off. Singer Outlet say they will accept the return but only in their box, and they will charge me £20.99 for a box. I was not aware I had bought a box for £20.99 or that my proposed packaging is sub-standard. Consumer Act 2015 states that the returner can bear the cost of return but not that the seller can stipulate a cost or profit from selling goods that aren't fit for purpose. I have asked for verifiable evidence that the 'box' cost Singer Outlet £20.99, if this can't be provided it would be clear that this is fraud.

11/04 Singer Outlet now ask me what is wrong with the dress form, had they read the messages I sent at the start and numerous times they would know. I ordered a size small that covers 6-16 all horizontal adjustments can be made to fit, but it does not lengthen to adjust for body length. I am a dress size 10 and 5'4". Even better they state they send out 100s of these and get less than 1% back. I ordered one on their site which stated a customer returned to order a different size, therefore conclude mine is not an isolated incident. Due to the dire customer service and lack of faith in the product I asked for a refund as it is not fit for purpose.

I ordered online & it was straight forward, delivery was on time.

Goods arrived quickly. Range of sewing machine feet was impressive. Found exactly what I needed. Will definitely look here when I need anything else.

Singer have always been my preference. The Singer site is excellent, lots of choice, good prices and if course quality products.
I bout my Singer sewing machine and the overlocker foot. Both work well and make my stress busting sewing times a joy!
