**Very disappointed – significant defects not disclosed in the listings**

I purchased two AOC monitors from Supreme Auctions (Auction 19331, Lots 2554 and 2596) through i-bidder for personal use at home.

The individual listings gave detailed product specifications, including screen size, resolution, refresh rate, response time, Adaptive Sync and RRP. However, the listings did **not** identify these particular monitors as customer returns, unchecked/untested, damaged, faulty, Grade B or spares/repair.

When I collected them, one monitor had a severely smashed LCD screen and was unusable. The second powered on but did not produce a usable display and its controls were not functioning normally.

I raised the issue immediately at collection and subsequently made a formal complaint. Supreme Auctions has now rejected my complaint. Significantly, their Legal & Escalations Manager has expressly acknowledged in writing that a **“customer returns” descriptor was not included within the auction listing**.

Their position is that because their terms describe bidders as “trade purchasers”, the Consumer Rights Act does not apply. I purchased these monitors solely for domestic use and was not buying them for resale or as part of a business.

My concern is not simply that auction goods can have faults. My concern is why detailed product specifications are provided to prospective bidders while material information about the actual condition of the goods is not disclosed.

I am now seeking independent consumer advice and have raised the matter with i-bidder.

I would urge anyone considering bidding to read the terms extremely carefully and, where possible, inspect the actual goods before bidding.

What a great service from Jack. He was extremely helpful throughout the process, especially with the lot I won and the payment process. I wasn’t entirely sure how much I needed to pay or how to arrange delivery for my items, but Jack took the time to explain everything clearly and guided me through the process.

As others have noted, extremely disappointed in the lack of morals this company has.
Items I won were missing, some boxes were missing the item (a ‘boxed’ returned item with no item in the box) and one item was completely the wrong colour and style.
After jumping through hoops on their website I received a reply basically saying ‘though luck’.
They now refuse to reply and I’ve reached out to the auction site to help.

I’ve ordered 3 pallets of items from them and it’s all over £100 of missing product that they’ll lose me as a customer.

Extremely disappointed, but their reviews speak for themselves. They flog stock and intentionally mislead their buyers

In reply to the feedback response below, I received delivery of the goods 02/09/26 and raised the issues with photos that day.

I didn’t receive verification that it was looked into until 10/09/26, which was to say there was no stock error, despite there being a number of clear errors.
I have sent 5 subsequent emails to the office, all of which were ignored completely.
10/09, 14/09, 15/09, 25/09 and 29/09.
I have also emailed the auction house who said they would get in touch requesting them to email me. No such contact was received.

Saying you’ll look into it on a public review forum while actively ignoring emails is not a good look

DO NOT USE THIS AUCTION SITE. We didn’t get one of the lots we won. For over a month we have been emailing and phoning them , we got no where . After emailing BidSpotter for help , within 5 mins we had an email from supreme saying they were reopening the case. Today they said they are sending out the lot we won and paid for about 6 weeks ago. They should be called supreme con

I brought a boxed and sealed cherry xtrfy keyboard that on the site was listed as UK spec QWERTY keyboard, which when it arrived was actually a German DE spec QWERTZ spec, when I contacted them via email they referred me to the online page to advise them of an incorrect description or item which I did. Their reply was to admit that the item title and description may not be representative of the actual item and I should have viewed it before purchase and that their t&c say items are sold as seen.
In other words we will write whatever we feel will sell the thing the best while accepting no responsibility for lying about it and we'll hide behind "sold as seen" so it sucks to be you.
