Very efficient helpful and polite

A really exceptional mechanic, very knowledgeable and an asset to the AA. I would wholeheartedly recommend the service and clear conscience communication diagnosing the car’s issue. Give this individual a pay rise!

Turned up on time, did great job on car brakes very tidy

I booked and paid for a full service of my vehicle at my home address. They advised it would take 90 to 120 minutes for the service.

First off the communication was very poor. I was told I would be given a time slot that morning but that didn't happen. I phoned up to be told oh yes the service will be happening you are on the schedule and the mechanic will be there this afternoon, 4pm latest.. well 4pm came and went no message no nothing so I phoned again to be told he was held up but was definitely coming. He arrived at 17.39 chatted for a few minutes and was finished 45 minutes later. I complained as this was not a full service. That was 20th August, complaint made 21st August and still waiting for their 'investigation ' to be carried out. Its 1st October tomorrow. Not acceptable. I did not get what I paid for and you are not addressing that fact at all. Not happy!

Improper service

Horrible service and extremely poor communication.

I booked an afternoon slot for a Major Service and received a text message yesterday advising that I would be contacted in the morning with an estimated time of arrival. However, I received no contact at all and was left waiting in all afternoon with no idea what was happening.

I eventually rang the AA myself, and the woman I spoke to said she would find out what was going on. I heard nothing back for several hours, so I had to call again for a second time. The man I spoke to said he would contact the mechanic and get back to me.

Just five minutes later, at 16:39, I received a text message informing me that the mechanic had gone home early and that my appointment had been cancelled. I was then told that I would have to rebook a new appointment myself.

After wasting an entire afternoon waiting around with no communication, I rang up again and requested a refund.

This was an extremely frustrating experience and, in my opinion, completely unacceptable customer service. The lack of communication throughout the day was particularly disappointing, and I should not have had to repeatedly chase the AA for an update only to find out, at the end of the day, that the appointment had simply been cancelled.

Really good collection and drop off service and a competitively priced MOT and service. Highly recommend. Thanks again.

Great service friendly mechanic.

AA didn't contact the garage for service instructions. So I had to wait there for hours because others took my spot while I waited for AA's instructions. Very disappointing.

Booked in at garage for MOT by AA only to be told by the garage on the morning of the appointment that they were fully booked . AA advised that this happens a lot as their diaries aren’t linked 🤷🏻‍♂️ Thankfully a garage 15 miles away was found last minute for the same day . Stressful situation as I’d booked time off work to sort it
