Accusatory, late, and unremarkable shutters
Terrible experience. We emailed customer support for estimated time as it was past 2 weeks, customer support said they had not yet shipped. Turns out the order came next day after the email, on my garage with no notification and in front of the gate to my complex. Called customer support and was accused that shipping info went to my email, all my emails and spam had been checked nonstop. Made me late to work, risked being stolen or damaged, and accusatory. Gave the smallest discount possible and shutters squeak most of the time that we open and close.
I would encourage anyone to go to another company that doesn't accuse their customers and instead insists on helping.

Regarding your delivery, I can confirm that your order shipped from our facility in California. Given your proximity to that location, the independent shipping carrier took the initiative to deliver the order without prior notification—something that, while not aligned with our standard process, does occasionally occur. We’ve already addressed this with the carrier, as we understand how important communication is during the delivery process.
We also want to sincerely apologize if we came across as anything less than respectful or helpful during our recent conversation—that was never our intention. Our agreement with carriers includes the requirement to email tracking information directly to our customers once an order ships. It’s clear this did not happen in your case, and we’re truly sorry for that oversight.
We will be reaching out again shortly to follow up and ensure your order has met your expectations.

Very disappointed
Windows came 2 weeks after estimated time. That is not what is concerning. What’s most concerning is that they are not to the size we put down in the form. They are a 1/2” smaller than requested. The craftsmanship is very poor looks like they were damaged and tried to fill will wood putty and pant over. There is lumps of paint on the shutter itself. The finished product was not full painted on the sides and shows bare wood when shutters are open. The hinges are not adjustable like the ones in the install video lastly the doors hinge placement are not the same on both sides so 1 door is higher than the other and rubs.
I hope this is just a review that goes to the store and not Google. Because if they can correct this I would be happy to leave a proper review but if they cannot I will be posting pictures on Google and the website so people can be aware.

Damaged and remake was incorrect and no discount given!!
The shutters are beautiful! I ordered in May, received damaged shutters (ink spots and bent frame) in May. I paid over $1600 for this particular window. Received remake of damaged shutters and frame near the end of June. The frame was fine, but they sent me shutters that did not match my original order. I sent them an email over a week ago and asked for a discount because I don't want to wait any longer to install my shutters. No response :(

Shutters for the whole house
I've bought over a dozen shutters now, a few at a time, as a DIY project. They have all been perfect. Very well packed. I haven't found so much as a nick or a scratch. The size I ordered is right on the numbers, ensuring a perfect fit. Some assembly required, but it is super easy. All my friends and family love the new updated look of my house.

I used The Shutter Store for all the windows in my new home. The shutters arrived on time and in perfect condition. Assembly was a breeze. I did scratch one slat while installing and had to order a new slat. The Shutter Store staff were great to work with for that and I had my new part in a few days. Amazing!!

Excellent customer service and beautiful shutter
We wanted a shutter in one of the hottest rooms in our house to stop some of the horrid heat from the recent heat waves and also to keep light pollution out of the room. We decided on an opening out slatted shutter.
From ordering to receiving the shutter it was a superb experience. My husband took measurements and we ordered the type we wanted.
We received a helpful order confirmation saying that before the order is sent for manufacturing that someone will phone us to make sure we measured up correctly and we ordered the right style for us.
Two days later we received a very helpful phone call and on my husband talking to the customer service representative, he realised there were a few things he hadn't accounted for and the order was amended. We were very impressed by the professional help and assistance we received.
Shortly after the call we had an email confirmation of changes to sign off the order, which we authorised.
Our shutter arrived within a short time scale and was very well packaged.
My husband fitted it without difficulty, although initially it did bow out a tiny bit at the top when you shut it initially, which was soon rectified by a slight push for the magnets to hold and then it's a perfect shut. Update: Happily, after a month of it being fitted it no long bows out and shuts flush straight away. The actual slats close well, but we do have to gently push them a little for a complete wipeout of light. Due to the shutters opening out, we've put on white handles bought elsewhere (adhesive ones not screwed in) to help us open them, which assists us in ease of opening and they look nice.
Overall, I'm very impressed with the customer services and I love the shutters. We would definitely order from them again without hesitation.

False leadtime promise to get my order
