Vectis Toy Auctions Reviews 

This is the first time that I have dealt directly with Vectis Toy Auctions and from start to finish they could not be more helpful. All the staff that I spoke to on the phone were very polite, and when my items arrived today they were all very well packed indeed many thanks once again I will be looking for the next toy soldier auction.

Items sent and received by them in October 2022.
Items actually put up for auction in... MAY 2023.
I appreciate that they handle a lot of items but I don't think an 8 month delay is acceptable.
Furthermore - funds from sale not available for 25 days. Hmm, wonder who is getting a month's interest on that money?
Finally - commission charged on the sale is far too high for the service provided.

I've used Vectis in the past but am unlikely to do so in the future due to poor value and poor customer service.

Sellers beware!

This the first time I have been successful at a Vectis auction for some super lots, very pleased.
Now to see what the other side of the service was like for the significant amount I purchased and the were fragile modern day super hero action figures so they needed to be packed very well .... and they were superb. Excellent strong boxes with internal trays to spread the weight, support the box and materials which protect the items from damage and moving around the box.
Then there was the communications, another 5 out of 5. The Vectis colleagues I talked to by phone gave excellent customer service, friendly and helpful as well. Top class auctioneer.

Although I have previously left a positive review I feel another is appropriate. I won a bid in the September Model Railway Auction and due to my error paid twice. I advised Vectis by email and received a refund within 24 hours. I then received the models within 7 days from the Auction. Absolutely first class customer service. Vectis continues to be my favored Auction Company.

Some training in packing wouldn’t go astray with Vectis. No apology in reply to my advising of damage to my lot either. I wasn’t asking for a refund but at least some acknowledgment that they will try harder next time. There won’t be a next time for me. There are plenty of other auction houses.

I consigned Star Wars and other memorabilia. I got my money for Star Wars sold but nothing for the other two boxes of toys and no explanation despite several emails and telephone calls. Avoid at all cost if you are selling.

Great service, the lots are as described.
Who ever packs the lots for postage deserves a huge pat on the back, I am sure I could not be so tidy and careful nothing has arrived damaged

Professional Staff and excellent service!

Always good items and very well packaged. The biggest thing letting this company down are the delivery times. Absolutely shocking, 4 weeks plus is standard.

Purchased a number of items in their toy auctions and they were as described and I received them well packed in the post around 2 weeks later, posting hundreds of items out is a big job. No problems with payment or delivery. Would use again. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because nobodies perfect.
