I had high hopes for this, yet it continues to not serve my everyday banking needs. They have a long way to go before everyday features work. In this day in age, you need a bank that you can count on, you need a bank that can deliver a seamless user experience, especially for business banking. Customer service lacks significantly. Do any humans work at this company?

can not tell you enough to NOT COME TO VENN. surface level looks so great, but the second you have any sort of issue you’ll learn how horrible their support system is. Closed my account & has been holding 6K in funds claiming that their “ops” team will reach out - PLEASE STAY AWAY - There are actually so many better options that WILL NOT SHAFT YOU do your research

I keep spreading the word about Venn Bank to other Businesses we deal with so they can sign up to Venn and see how good it is. 👌

Anytime I have a question or concern, they are always quick to get back to me. Platform is easy to use and constantly being updated. I didn't realize how valuable it is to have virtual cards until I created about 60+ of them. Makes it easier for our staff to buy stuff on our account rather than having to reimburse them. Controls are a good plus too. Being able to lock, set limits etc. EFTs are cheap too.

The only thing they don't have is cheque depositing and the ability to give our creditors pre authorized payments. I hate cheques and I hate giving access to my account for someone to take whatever amount they want.

It was less than 12 hours from when I finished the sign up to receiving account approval and activation. I made a mistake during registration and my business name had to be corrected. I started talking with their chatbot, and was virtually instantaneously redirected to a real person. The account was updated and corrected seconds later.

The only way this could have happened any quicker is if they had used clairvoyants and corrected the account before I contacted them.

Venn is a refreshing change from the big banks that seem to nickel-and-dime you at every turn. With Venn, there are no monthly fees, no e-Transfer fees, and they even offer a no-annual-fee credit card that's super easy to use and manage. The app makes it simple to upload invoices and keep everything synced, which has been a game-changer for us.
I love that my money actually earns 2% interest in the account (way better than the almost nothing at RBC), and the free USD account is a nice bonus. Their customer support is genuinely excellent too, Taylor went above and beyond to help us with a recent issue.
The only downside was linking our RBC account to transfer funds, it was more of a hassle than it should have been. But Taylor stuck with it and got everything sorted for us in the end.
Overall, highly recommend Venn if you want fair, transparent banking without all the usual fees and headaches.

I was having a lot of trouble getting into my account, but Taylor (the customer service agent) was patient and knowledgeable, and figured out what was wrong so it could be fixed. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable... and able to resolve the issue. You can't ask for better than that!

Great customer service. A human stepped in when the bot wasn't able to work through my query. All customer service experiences have been prompt and effective. No waiting in queues or waiting for the agent to respond to 10 chats at once before responding.

Venn’s platform is reliable, easy to use, and makes managing finances simple. The features work smoothly and give real confidence in the product. On top of that, Riley provided excellent customer service, quick, professional, and supportive. Great product with great support!

They have an AI chatbot to try to handle the easy stuff. It's not very intelligent.
But the customer service team is on the ball. Frequently, they have interrupted the AI conversation, jumping in with human help.
In this specific case, the AI didn't have a good answer and said that someone would be there within 15 minutes to answer my question.
The showed up, they resolved my problem. And to be fair to the AI, it had given me the right answer; I just didn't notice.

Venn is just what I'm looking for - a good internet bank that has amazing rates, and excellent customer support.
