This is my 2nd time buying a watch from Watchfinder with a trade and dealt with Daylan both times, Daylan was great to work with and would recommend you ask for him. The first time I bought a Rolex Daytona Zennith tutone box and papers and traded 2 Breitling's, smooth deal beautiful watch. Next I had an Omega to trade on a Tudor big block 79170 1991 box and papers excellent condition, the watch is flawless.

Honesty is the best policy … or is it?
I was given a quote for a Rolex DateJust based on preliminary pictures. I sent the watch according to their instructions. Then I receive an email withdrawing the offer based on condition. When I asked for more info, I was told the bezel was severely damaged. I bought a new one from an authorized Rolex dealer and took it and the watch to a reputable jewelry store. Their inspectors found the original bezel to be in good shape and to have about the same amount of wear as the rest of the watch - consistent with the age of the piece. I understand if y’all changed your mind and no longer wanted it. That’s ok. Just be honest up front. It goes a long way.

All watches undergo through inspection and authentication tests. This involves a full physical inspection of the watch at the component level including the crystal, hands, dial, bezel, case, crown, case back and bracelet.
In some cases, we may need to carry out work, such as polishing, or repairs, before we can sell the watch, however if we feel the cost of this is too high, or the watch does not meet our authentication requirements, we may decide not to go ahead with the purchase. I have recently sold my watch to watchfinder which I am quite unhappy about. I gave a low score of 1 star. I was contacted by Mark from watchfinder who contacted me to say they had made an error with the price and paid what was offered with no service charge as the watch was under warranty.
