My freezer stopped work.They were quick to respond. No annoying web site logins or bots. Clear, reasonable pricing and an efficient polite engineer. Because they came quickly I did not have to throw away any food!

Well my oven hasn't worked for about 12 days now. Engineer came and was quick and efficient. In the process of fixing one small problem on my fridge, he broke the oven
Unplugged and bashed it about in and didn't check or reset it when put back in.
I asked the office for help for a week. After saying the engineer will contact you (they told me to do something I had already done- 3 times then disappeared) they ignored me for 4 days.
I called and spoke to an exceptionally rude woman. Eventually she agreed to send someone and asked if Monday was OK. (Since I have things to do and couldnt be there all day). I asked what time and she never responded. Nothing was confirmed so I intended to follow up. I received rude messages saying someone was at my door. I wasnt there. With no confirmation, no email or text, no phone call, nothing saying someone was on their way and a rough time. I explained as such and received a barrage of disgraceful messages, shouty texts
exclamation marks. One said they told me monday 9am. I screenshotted the message history where I asked what time with 3 days of no reply. And received more rude messages. I called and they hung up twice.
I am sure there are perfectly decent engineers, but mine didn't check his work, broke my oven while fixing my fridge and the company itself is an absolute disgrace. If they cause damage in your home apparently you're on your own. Really nasty and unprofessional.

Engineer Edward was excellent - very clear and helpful. Customer service from office was poor - had to call multiple times to get information.

Engineer came promptly. Evidently hugely experienced, fixed washing machine within 30 mins. Clear explanation of all parts and costs involved. Would heartily recommend this company.

Edward came to fix our leaking washing machine this morning and had everything sorted in less than 30 minutes. I also mentioned that our dishwasher wasn't working and he immediately took a look and was able to fix that as well. Cannot recommend enough!!! Thank you, Edward.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM

I would give zero stars if I could.

My Indesit washing machine is broken: a normal washing cycle takes five hours or never finishes at all, and the door does not unlock, leaving my laundry stuck inside. In my desperation to get the laundry out, I tried to open the door a little too forcefully and broke the handle. Therefore, the machine had two issues: a faulty cycle and a broken door handle.

I found 1 Home Service when googling for an engineer that could come on the same day or the next day, as my laundry was stuck inside the drum. I booked an appointment for the next day, but the chap never turned up. I called the hotline, and they told me he would come first thing on Monday. I wasn't happy, but I accepted it.

Come Monday, the 'engineer' finally arrived. I explained the issue with the machine. He took one look at the machine from the outside and told me the handle needed to be replaced and that otherwise, the machine was fine; the drum 'looked okay.' He said he would order replacement parts for the handle and come back to repair it, quoting £98 for the handle plus £69 labour plus VAT, totalling £210!

I got my phone out, and a quick Google search revealed that an authentic replacement handle kit costs £11. I felt that his quote was extortionate and that I was being scammed. The 'engineer' did not have any tools on him, and I had to provide him with a screwdriver to break open the washing machine door! (Which I could have done myself. I called an engineer because I expected him to open the machine and release the lock mechanism from the inside, not force it open!)

I am angry with myself for even paying the £70 call-out charge, as he did not fix the machine (in fact, he broke the lock!). He did not even open the machine to diagnose the issue with the faulty cycle, he had no spare parts with him, and he didn't even have any tools at all! So I paid £70 for nothing. I ordered the door replacement kit for £11 on eSpares and installed it myself. Needless to say, the machine is still broken, as the issue with the cycle hasn't been resolved.

I have now booked a legitimate Indesit/Whirlpool engineer. They offer a no-fix-no-fee policy. If only I had done this the first time around, I would have saved £70! Avoid 1 Home Service; they are not engineers; they are scammers!

I needed someone to look at my washing machine without me being available to attend, Jack from 1Home Services was able to attend the same day make an assessment and order the part required and return within 48 hours to fix the problem. The service was a life saver for me as I was away and people were staying in my home. I would recommend Jack and 1Home Services and would use them again.

Have used 1homeservice twice. They are very efficient and solved the problem on the same day.
Pricing feels fairly priced.
We would use again without hesitation

THIS COMPANY SCAMS PEOPLE- AVOID!!

The engineer came to look at my washer dryer which was leaking from a hole in the door seal and was not draining/spinning or working on a light load.
He only switched it on and watched it run for a few minutes and didn't even open it up to look inside and was done within 10 minutes.
He then gave me a quote of £293 to repair.
He said that the seal was £98 + VAT and the pump would be £68 + VAT plus a fee for the repair.
When I said that it would be almost the same price to replace he tried to tell me that it would cost me £650 to replace my appliance which I knew was not the case ( its more like £330)
I checked on Amazon and the Indesit website this morning and the seal is in fact £30 and the pump £16!!
Lesson learned. Always check reviews before hiring a tradesperson!

Our washer broke and we needed help. They arrived quickly and had the parts in the truck already. Less than 24 hours and it all works again

Prompt and resolved issue new pump for dishwasher within half hour

Terrible experience, bad communication, really expensive call out and not informed of the issue/ when they would be back.
Tried to rebook and had to chase, they then informed me that they had ordered the wrong part.
Whole process was really unprofessional and felt scammy.

16-05-2024 intervention for a neff error 24. Took like 30 min, 69£ plus parts (broken oump) 109£ makes it 178£. And now the dish washer works
