Well organised holiday to Bournemouth, staying at a lovely hotel. All the staff at the Norfolk Royale were friendly and attentive. Excursions very enjoyable. All in all very good value for money.

Great coach driver very nice hotel excellent trips and nice warm abd dry weather What more could you need?

We were self-drive so our needs are different to coach trips. Hotel fine (been there before). Lovely sea front. Buses to Hastings and Brighton nearby. Crossing the road to the sea front can be a problem as the nearby controlled crossing point has been out of operation for over 4 years.

Coach driver very friendly & approachable. Hotel definitely looking tired & bathroom definitely needs maintenance.
Luggage labels NEVER arrived so had to make my own..was told to collect at Skelton Lake but no-one on duty. This actually made travelling stressful as had to keep eye on luggage to make sure it stayed with us.

First time with Alfa so wasn’t familiar with feeder coach but all was good, lovely clean coach with more leg room than others, the driver James was excellent, Waverley hotel was good as was the food, only complaint was an inexperienced waiter who was so slow it was painful but he did his best and was a lovely person just needed proper training, day trips were excellent but the one to Edinburgh was too late leaving for the return journey to the hotel, most people said this . The hotel is in beautiful grounds and it’s easy to go by taxi to Galashiels £10 a lovely little town, all staff were very helpful and friendly at the hotel and the entertainment was very good, an unexpected treat was a bag piper who stood outside from 07.30 - 08.00 it was wonderful, hotel served haggis as one choice for a 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 menu in the evening I love haggis and it was delicious, had a great holiday and have already booked another for next year with Alfa , trying a different place this time. We would love to thank Becky and the staff for a wonderful and impressive stay at the Norfolk Royal Hotel in Bournemouth, we upgraded our stay to a five star holiday due to it being our 60th Wedding Anniversary we were really looked after. Thank you again.

Overall our holiday was good, meals and service as always with Alfa good, service and staff efficient and friendly, hotel clean tidy entrances and stairways ,the only downfall was our room, which needs a refurb, we have always had very up to date rooms, the bathroom shower wasnt the best and I have trouble getting into a bath, unfortunately I hadn't thought to ask for a walk in shower, I will next time I book, driver and trips out were excellent thank you

The coach(s)was very comfortable. Good driver. The excursions on the whole were good - would have liked a little more time in some towns. The hotel had all the amenities for a comfortable and pleasant stay, however, The Hydro, which is very old, is on dire need of an extensive decor upgrade. (I could feel the floor boards moving when walked on, and the carpet was extremely dated and certainly dusty - I had to buy allergy spray to stop coughing) Entertainment was very good mostly. Bar prices were competitive. The food for first 4 days of my visit had some variety and was very good - however the last two days were awful. Perhaps they changed chefs? Personally, I will not be returning to The Hydro unless I know a major refurbishment was done. One more thing - I get that it’s difficult to sort accommodate all the guests in such a large hotel - however dinner after 7pm is really a problem for most older people.

A lovely holiday at a very nice hotel, food very good, nightly entertainment excellent, great room with sea views and every thing you need. Good excursions although a little to much hanging about. Porthcall is a lovely town but a little tired and not many Pubs to visit.

The satellite hotel for our trip to Telford to visit Ironbridge and Llangollen was excellent. The restaurant was completely self-service, the food was good and the room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I have to mention Neil our driver - nothing was too much for him. In the absence of entertainment in the hotel, he really tried to get something organised for us but unforrunately without success. He took great pride with his coach which was immaculate and also well stocked with refreshments. A great holiday!

Placing my luggage for the driver to deal with and the next time you see it it is outside your hotel bedroom. The hotel was clean, staff were efficient and friendly, and the food was varied and with a great choice on offer.
Driver was exceptional.

Had an excellent holiday to Isle of Man. Driver Pete was good and helpful. Hydro hotel was OK. Staff were really attentive and food was good. Only thing we missed was a proper evening venue with music and dance floor. Picos in the basement was very basic and damp. Needs updating.

The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient, the driver likewise. i enjoyed the excursions, despite the less than clement weather. The location was attractive and convenient.

Excellent hotel with good staff. Food very good. Only issue was the reurn journey. Left LLandudno 45 minutes late as the driver (not Alfa) did not know about loading suitcases. Bad problems at Skelton, totally unorganized. You need a notice board for the bus return. Plus, the bus driver had no idea about driving to Hull and Beverley, he had not been there before.

Great holiday at fabulous hotel. Staff were amazing. Trips were good just perhaps small places bit should be shortened stay.
