They came in,diagnosed the problem, asked for money up front then didn't come back with the repairs in a timely manner. Now my oven is missing the main control board completely. Reviews on their website said quick and easy repairs etc but my fault for not looking at Google reviews. I'd give 0 stars if I could

Dishwasher was not draining. called a team appliance repair.He quickly decided the drain pump was not working or control board was not sending signal to pump. But for 280$ and parts it could be fixed.

I called another company. A subsequent technician identified and resolved the problem within a short period of time by performing a standard diagnostic procedure, which included checking for a blockage in the drain line. This revealed the actual cause of the issue: a simple obstruction (pieces of popcorn) in the drain tube. Once removed, the dishwasher functioned normally, confirming that the drain pump and control board were working correctly.

I contacted A team appliance repair and requested my money back. They said it was for a diagnosis but a service call so no refund.

I responded Your technician did not perform this fundamental step. Had a routine diagnostic been completed — including inspection of the drain line — the root cause would have been easily identified. Instead, I was given a speculative and significantly more expensive potential repair involving major components that were, in fact, functioning properly.

This is the core concern:
the service provided did not meet the standard of a reasonable diagnostic inspection, which is precisely what the service call fee is meant to cover. The issue was not complex, hidden, or requiring extensive disassembly — it was a basic obstruction that should have been checked as part of the initial troubleshooting process.

As such, I do not believe it is accurate to characterize the visit as a completed or adequate assessment. The technician did not fulfill the expected scope of diagnostic work, and therefore the service was not delivered as required.

If I had researched the company prior to calling them, I would not have used them. The guy came in his own vehicle and not a company vehicle - which I thought odd. But the people on the phone were very nice and helpful. So was the tech. He showed me the problem, explained what was needed. They called late that night to say parts would arrive the next day and be installed. I may have overpaid but the fridge works again. Didn't like the debit or cash only option though. Actually my bank blocked the transfer until I explained about the repairman. I agree with other reviews re pricing. The Hourly rate for assessment was stated as $80 when I phoned. I was charged $280. The company is also listed on the Ontario Consumer Protection site and was fined $14,000+. I don't know why my experience is so different than everyone else's. I pray my fridge continues to work.

Wish there was a ZERO star. They are scammers, probably not even technicians. Said will charge $80, then on visit added $280 for diagnosis, + replacement parts without telling you which parts needs replacement and then on top of that additional labour charges. Quoted $550 to fix a dryer. Why would someone pay that much and not buy a new dryer. They are scammers...stay away from them.

If you want to meet them face to face their headquarters they are located and operate out of 220 Viceroy Rd, Concord, ON L4K 3C2. They are a classic travelling gypsy repair scam they will screw you over and then just opens new company in a new location. I went for an interview to join their team and the place was a foriegn telemarketer scheme had about 50 people working phones mostly take advantage of people who do not have permanent residency. Stay away from this company at all cost. Their other name is pro tek appliance repair

I called in to fix my Samsung built-in oven. Came fast, charged $280 + tax, asked about $1800 for parts. Nothing was fixed.
Put a review in their website, but don’t see it now.

DON'T CALL THEM!!!! They are the worst company to deal with, they rip people off and their customer service is TERRIBLE. They will quote you $80 on the phone for the visit and then charge you $290 when they come because they add a diagnosis. They will charge you so much for a part, they charged me $950 for a $250 part. STAY AWAY FROM THEM, you've been warned.

They are horrible. The give you s quote of 80.00 .When the technician shows up it is totally different pricing. I had dealt with Raheim. They make you sign before they start snd told you they are going to save you money. It took him less than 45 mins to open it to tell me tge dishwasher mother board was fired. He then charged me 316.00 later. Labor was 200. They only take debit or cash. No visa transaction to be traced. I called tge company and the women was rude. Please go through tge better business bureau with this company as tgere is an F rating. I got scammed as many other customers. They also have s 5 star rating on Google. They got there family and friends to give a 5 star. I hope they get a lawyer suit slap on them.

I would not recommend this company.
The technician arrived and said he needed to fully diagnose the refrigerator before making any repairs. He identified what he believed was the problem and charged $280 for the diagnosis and repair work. Unfortunately, the repair did not fix the issue.
Afterward, I was informed that the real problem was the compressor, which is a well-known issue with many LG refrigerators. In my opinion, this should have been identified during the initial diagnosis before charging for unnecessary labor and repairs that did not resolve the problem.
I was then quoted an additional $1,200 to replace the compressor. Paying $280 for a misdiagnosis and then being asked to spend another $1,200 is extremely frustrating.
Based on my experience, this felt more like a money grab than a professional repair service. I would advise others to get a second opinion before using this company.

I contacted the A Team Appliance Repair for my commercial fridge that was not cooling. Tech arrived, opened the grill at the back of the unit and said that the fan to the compressor was not coming on. He said he would need to do a further investigation. 5 mins later, he asked me to sign off on $300 labour to perform investigation on mother board, cooling system, and safety system. When I checked on him, he has watching something on his phone - then said he was checking on my compressor because it needed replacement for $1700. I told him to leave and I would obtain a second opinion. New tech arrives, says everything was in good working order except that the control switch needed to be replaced. He went on to say that the unit was still under warranty, including the compressor, if it had to be replaced. Not only did the A Team tech not do the investigations as he charged, but he also did not diagnose the issue properly. When I contacted Customer Service for a partial refund - Absolutely useless!

We had a very poor experience with this company and would not recommend them.

They were hired to diagnose and repair an ice machine for one of our clients. From the beginning, there were multiple issues with communication and professionalism. Their technician discussed pricing directly with our client even though we had clearly instructed them not to do so. Appointment times were changed, and there was a general lack of coordination between their office and technician.

Most importantly, the repair was never properly resolved. They initially diagnosed the issue, quoted and installed a replacement motor, but the ice machine stopped working again shortly after. They then had to return to site multiple additional times, yet the machine is still not operating properly and there has been no clear resolution.

This caused frustration for both our company and our client, who had already spent a significant amount of money expecting the issue to be fixed. After several visits and continued problems, we are now forced to look for another vendor to properly diagnose and repair the unit.

Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inability to complete the repair properly made this a very frustrating process.

Came to repair my washing machine and charged me $316. Told me that I need a part for an additional $410. I said that I need to think about it. When they left my washing machine started leaking and they refused to come back to sort out the issue even though they said that their work is backed by a 30 day warranty. Very rude also and condescending in the way they speak to you. DO NOT USE THEM

I had my fridge serviced and was told I needed a part so I ordered it. I waited over 5 business days for it to be installed and that didn’t fix the issue after paying 800 then I was told the Freon was low and that would cost 900. I don’t understand why I wasn’t told that from the beginning I would have not ordered the part and bought a new fridge now I’m out 800 and buying a new fridge. I feel I was scammed and I don’t recommend them.

This company is a joke. I own a Thermador Wall oven and had a very nice repair person attend and advise it needed a new board and fan. He advised 2-5 business days. 8 days later, nothing. Called customer service to speak to a manager and was advised that their managers do not get on the phone (Like they are special or something). Called parts, same answer, no date for repair, asked again to speak to a manager and got the same response. They will rush to your home to save the day, but try following up with them and they are rude, ignorant, have no answers and refuse to escalate a situation for a paying customer who has spent over $3,000. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN and highly recommend anyone reading this, choose the next guys in line as these people don't care one bit and just looking to bank money. Maybe this google review will wake someone up.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They provided terrible service. Customer service is terrible. Stay far far away.

I wished I had read reviews about them before. My fridge broke down at the end of December 2025, and at the beginning of January a repair person said he could fix it with some new parts (2 years warranty, 30 days for labour). Just five months later, the fridge broke down again and the repair person said that this time, it was due to another faulty part of the fridge - which the first person had failed to detect. Overall, I paid a lot more for the two repairs than what a new fridge would have cost me. I never saw a receipt for the parts they ordered, so it all could be a huge scam. The repair persons gave me bad advice. It would have been much cheaper and better to buy a new fridge. Some consumer watchdog should look into this company, they are definitely dodgy.

If 0 stars was an option I would have selected. Tech came, gave a very high repair price, we agreed out of desperation due to have a disabled person who needs laundry every day. After the part was ordered and agreed appointment elapsed, they called and said they couldn't make it. After a brief time they changed their minds and said they could come earlier in the week. We contacted another repair service who reviewed the part cost and labor (15 minutes of work was over $300, part cost $446 plus tax.) and let us know the total for part and repair was about $200 plus tax almost 300% less then this company. The part is widely available and honest companies keep them on hand as its a very common need.

The drain pump on our Miele dishwasher did not work. First service call was May 6 2026. The technician ordered us a new drain pump. Cost of call and pump $1442.33 of which we paid $885.01. On May 28, the pump arrived and was installed. We paid the balance of $557.31. The machine did not work. On May 31 the tech returned and assessed that the pressure switch was faulty. A new pressure switch was ordered. We paid $404.89 of a $606.57 bill. On June 7 the tech came and installed the pressure switch and we paid the balance of $201. 58 for a total of $2048.88. The machine does not work. I telephoned today, June 8 2026 and advised we had purchased a new machine. I asked why the technician who came initially did not tell us our machine was not worth fixing and instead ran up charges of $2048.88, almost sufficient to purchase a new machine. We would have gladly paid for an initial service call giving us this information. The person at customer service told me we should have called that the machine didn't work (!) and they would have sent a technician to repair it. Instead, I made my choice to purchase a new machine. She then hung up on me.

If I could give 0 stars I would, they are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. They were late to the appointment with no courtesy call, I tried to cancel, the operator would not allow it, I told her several times but she said the tech is on their way and we will give you a discount. They came, tells me it would cost more to fix than getting a new appliance.. I would not recommend to anyone. I told them about the discount they offered and was told it was only for the labour so I refused to pay.
