What a refreshing change - This was a very smooth transaction from the moment I entered my car details to the point of collection. Rosa was great with communication and helping with the paperwork, honestly it was very easy and they made it so. Professional, polite and actually really care, funds arrived the next day and exactly as agreed. Top marks 10/10 for this company who are doing everything right. Well done.

Firstly, based in Hertfordshire and used Assington Autos to scrap my 16 year old Peugeot. In Sept 2025.
From the price comparison online followed by the follow up call to book in collection was so smooth. Then email and WhatsApp confirmation arrived. Any and all questions were answered by Lou on email and WhatsApp so quickly!
Collection driver called me 30minutes before arrival, completed the yellow part of the log book and collected the car, he was a very professional and polite chap!
I then got a follow up message by Rosa to make sure all was okay as and a thank you for using their service.
Payment made within 24 hours as promised, a few days later I got certificate of distraction (which you have to request at time of booking).
I got the best price compared to all the other website, I would not hesitate to use them again.

I think using a direct company rather than a comparison site who gets a 3rd party to collect the car is much better.

Highest value offered of all the companies I contacted. Particular thanks to Rosa for the advise she gave regarding the paperwork and arranging the collection. Contact less collection so I wasn't around to meet the driver but evidently it was timely and efficient. Payment was made the next day.

Very quick and easy process. Asked for a quote to scrap my car through the website and had several follow up phone calls. Lady on the phone was polite and helpful. I advised them I may not be home when they came to collect and was given all the information I needed regarding a contactless collection. The day of collection, I got a phone call 30 mins before arrivals to let me me know they were on their way. As it turns out I was home when they arrived and the driver was friendly and super quick. My road isn’t the easiest to get a big recovery lorry down and I was slightly worried he wouldn’t have the space to get my car on the back as it was a non runner and there’s parked cars either side of the road. But he managed it with no problems, without blocking the road and was so quick! Payment was received the next day with absolutely no problems. Would definitely recommended and will use again if I need to.

Excellent communication on the initial call, all the information was given in a clear manner. Follow up communication after booking was made was also extremely good. On the day of collection I had a call 10 mins before, was going to do a contactless collection but as the driver arrived really early I was still home. Drive was very friendly and everything was done in a matter of minutes. Money was paid promptly the following day as advised

Great service from the start the finish not so great.

Had to call 48 hours after my car was collected I hadn't been paid.

Apparently the paperwork was filed in the wrong pile. It was filed in the paid pile ( spoke to Charlotte) she apologized. That's the reason I gave a one star. So not so great.

Arrived when they said they would, called ahead and we're very helpful. Would definitely use again.

The driver phoned 1/2 hour to say he was on his way, he was very polite.
When the lorry arrived to pick up the car the driver was quick & efficient and very polite & helpful.

Ive used this company on 3 occasions, they have collected the cars when they said they would, confirmed with a phone call when on route and money in the bank a few hours later. Great team 👏 wish all companies were as efficient
