Bought an engine from here through EBay at a cost of £650 that is knocking badly once fitted even though it was described as good running condition.

Unfortunately due to a water pipe being damaged whilst being removed by them I had to wait on a replacement part which took me outwith the eBay 30 day returns policy.

A week of this was actually waiting on delivery…

I contacted them through eBay and they refused any liability and refused to help me even when I sent them a video of their engine fitted knocking.

Be very careful when buying from here.

Was looking to scrap an old vehicle, filled in the online forms to get a quote from Assington Autos. Shortly after I got a phone call from them and the lady has asked if I want to accept the quote and proceed further. I accepted and she then explained, both verbally and in writing the whole process. The car got collected on the date as agreed and payment got through within 24 hours. Thank you for an easy, no hassle process.

Collection was arranged for a day that week which suited me. Driver arrived in a very professional looking truck, taking away my vehicle. Very happy with the service, would definitely recommend!
