Ordering was straightforward. Then I hear nothing for 15 days. 2 phone calls from me and the oil was delivered next day . Got to do better than that.

I've used Certas a number of times.
I've used Certas through Value Fuels a number of times and found the experience smooth and efficient, it was good this time to be able to choose the actual delivery day to suit me, although as they say there was no need to actually be in.

Service is great shame about the price
Placing the order and the delivery are excellent, just a shame about the price. I got a quote, phoned back 3 days later to order and the price had gone up by £75 pounds.

However, when a real person is allowed to respond - post the bot hassle- she (Chelsea) was very efficient, professional and charming.

Delivery of heating oil went like clockwork
Heating oil came in the time slot specified. I was allerted 10 mins before it arrived so I was ready for the delivery. Driver was friendly and helpful.

Dumfries office 6 STARS !. Long term customer of Certas (previously Scottish Fuels). Requested an online quote for heating oil. They quoted 135.72p per litre. Total £678.60 plus VAT £33.93 TOTAL TO PAY £362.92 ? NO SENSE, Doesn't add up !
Questioned why price so high, compared to other suppliers ! Reducedit to 114p per ltr !!! Asked for Email quote, put on hold for 15 minutes, then cut off !!!
Rang Dumfries, quoted 109p, excellent response, excellent service, all within 5 minutes.

Overall satisfactory, but not online.
I was unable to place an order online and, when I telephoned was told that this was because the software "didn't like my PO33 postcode". The man who took my order by telephone was very helpful and gave me dispassionate advice about whether to order a 2,000ltr tankful or half. The delivery was absolutely as predicted and went without a hitch.
