Dolphin Alliance care we’re truly lovely. Andy W came out quickly and although he had to tell me bad news, he didn’t try to force me to spend a stupid amount of money on a washing machine that is broken, he was honest and supportive. Claire and Zoe were really lovely, they accepted my frustrations with Ipswich Appliance who they got the job through and handled the call empathetically and professionally. Didn't fix the problem, and didn't check to see if the appliance was working.
Smeg sent a Dolphin Appliance Care engineer to come and fix our combi oven that was showing an error code. The engineer arrived when he was scheduled to, took a photo of the oven, said he knew exactly what the problem was and ordered the part on his phone all within 5 minutes. He then returned with the part the following friday (both days I had to take off work to ensure someone was in). He was here for no more than 20 minutes, and left saying that it was all fixed. However, he clearly had not tested his handy work, as the oven touch screen wasn't working and the error code was still being displayed. Surely engineers should be checking that the appliance is actually fixed before they leave? I now have to take another day off to wait in for another engineer to come out, probably again for 5 mins, to then order a part and return for another day that I'll have to take off to fit the new part. Really frustrating, and not what you expect from a big, reputable company. Very disappointed.

I was phoned today re my appointment for tomorrow, would I like them to come today. Yes I would! Callum showed up about 2 hours later. Extremely professional and pleasant. He explained the problem with my washing machine quickly, set a date for a return visit and went to order the parts straight away. Unfortunately I'm having a new machine (!) as per my plan, so I don't get to see him again. The service from this company is first class, thank you all.
