I was coerced into paying £4443.58 on the day they came out and was promised I would have a new ceiling in my motorhome because of a rain leak, along with a diesel leak repaired, repair of the windscreen washer and to have the roof fibre-glassed to ensure it was watertight. The ceiling looks ok inside, although not a professional finish, but the roof looks untouched apart from one metal plate, there is a hole in the floor the size of a dinner plate direct to the road where they removed the diesel heater and to make matters worse I still have a diesel leak and the windscreen washer still doesn't work. Trying to get them to at least refund some of my money and sort out the diesel leak and windscreen washer has been hell. They don't want to know. There is no customer service. They didn't provide a written quotation as requested and promised and won't provide either a receipt for the money taken or a guarantee for the work they are supposed to have done. Fraudulent cowboys who fleece vulnerable women.

A corner post of my trailer had broken and needed welding. Sent them photos and was quoted £400 PLUS VAT and they’d need it for TWO DAYS! I could buy another complete second hand trailer for that, and quicker.

I replied, asking if they had mistakenly added an extra zero but received no reply. I've now had it done in about 15 minutes for £30 by a honest professional.

AVOID THIS COMPANY
I paid £245 for a habitation check for our motorhome, a man arrived early morning to complete the check and informed me that I would receive the certificate by email later that day.
I received no email and I was selling the motorhome. I telephone the reception 3 days later in the morning where the man apologised and informed me he would email me the certificate. I telephoned again explaining the motorhome was being collected that evening. He again apologised and said he would email it straight away and ring me to check I received it. When he didn't call back I telephoned again and there was no answer. I left work early from Southport, drove to St Helens and the man on reception had to telephone the engineer who was out on a job for the information so he was able to write out a certificate as I said I was not leaving the office until it was sorted out.

Spoke to Will today he was really helpful and helped me a great deal. Would definitley recomend the company. Thank you Will your advise worked :)

I am writing this letter to express my disappointment and frustration with the service provided by your company. My father's hobby motorhome required recovery and repair for its gearbox, and after receiving a quote of £950, we decided to entrust your company with the job.

However, things went downhill from there. It took over a week for the recovery to be carried out, despite your promises of a quick turnaround. Once you had the vehicle in your possession, the quote for the repair skyrocketed to £5k+, which was a shock and far beyond what we had expected.

We were then hounded hourly for an answer, which was unacceptable and unprofessional. We spoke to other reputable mechanics who informed us that the price quoted by your company was significantly higher than what was required for the work needed.

In the end, we had to pay an additional £450 for recovery and labour to put things back together, and we arranged for a reputable mechanic who diagnosed the problem and quoted us £750 for the repair. We were left feeling like total rip-off victims.

We trusted your company to do a good job, and instead, we were met with delays, false promises, and an exorbitant quote. We demand a full refund of the £450 deposit paid to your company, as well as an apology for the distress and inconvenience caused.

We will not hesitate to take legal action if necessary.

Dropped car off 09.15 am for 2 x tyres to be fitted. Was advised there was one other car before me so mine would be done soon and I’d be called to pick up. 11am I called as no call back, my car was now next. No call back again. Called at 12pm and car would be 20 mins I was told. 12.30 I get to the garage to collect. Car still outside with no new tyres fitted. They then take the car in before I could get the keys after I told them just to leave it as it had been 3 and a half hours!!! Still waiting outside the garage and it is 12.50. Utter rubbish service and non existent customer service. Liars to be honest. Why not just say they would be fitted last job of the day. Keep clear of this company!!!

I am usually a generous reviewer and tend to see the best in things. However 7 months after promises that work would be done, numerous emails and phone calls, it has taken 2 lengthy in person visits to get a partial refund.

Been having numerous issues with my BMW. Took it to my main dealer who assured me the car was fine. Still having problems and still lots of orange lights reappearing. V unsatisfactory and they fleeced me of over £800. Lost confidence and was recommended to visit Fast Lane Autos St Helens. Booked in and paid the diagnostic fee, a quick call back had established a faulty sensor and replacement cost of just £69. Car fine now. V helpful guys. Wish I had gone to them first rather than overrated and expensive main dealer!!!!

They will con you off if they can. Avoid avoid avoid!!!
No communication for a week and then Quoted over 4000 pounds for work ( when I said I couldn’t afford this the guy told me my van was worth a lot of money now… which didn’t feel right). He then phoned back and said he could take 400
Pounds off the price which also didn’t feel right.
Spoke with a mechanic elsewhere ( who was recommended) who told me that quote sounded extortionate and I went to a specialist who confirmed this seemed to be the case.
I am female, young looking and not from Liverpool they were clearly trying to take advantage. Ended up spending over 300 pounds with them on nothing - in fact it seems as if they have actually broken my power steering.
You have been warned - they will try and steal from you off if they think they can.

Auto electrician came out .
Gave part diagnosis.
£174 . He couldn’t fix it and gave report to investigate further .
Had to chase the information of the company. Didn’t supply it same day . Waited till 1040 next day give them a chance to ring with report and cost of second stage repairs. No one contacted me . Used there chat section to find out some info , and I transferred to phone around midday for more details. £625 to bring in and strip down , and still on top of that , the repair ie the fix , would be extra
Felt alarm bells ringing, too late after the event . If your here reading this review, trust your instincts. Mine were proved right based on other reviews. Very polite and pleasant while they are speaking with you , but slow and poor communication to get to the heart of things . By the way , the name of the chat consultant was Brad Thornberry . On talking with the guy on the phone , whose name is Josh , he confirmed he was the same person. A little strange in my opinion!
By the way , I found this out after this event so added for those of you out there wanting to know something about this company.
I eventually went with a word of mouth company that a friend has used . The company I went with take on work off companies and do it on there behalf. On speaking with the new company I’m going with they said Fastlane use their services.

So to me it just looks like they send out the work to someone else , the other company fixes the issues. It’s then returned to them who make out like they’ve done the work.

They appear to me to just be middle men adding on top their cut which grossly inflates the price !😳🤔
The cost of the full repair including vat was £360 .
So you can see based on what I was quoted the enormity of the mark up .

On checking this company a year on from my original review I see that they are still in business.
How sad in today’s world that this company can be allowed to rip peoples hard earned money .

WOW WHERE DO I START!!! Please if you’re reading this never use this company to repair a caravan. I brought a 1994vintage caravan to restore. Didn’t realise how much needed doing and as we started to inspect noticed it was damp!! Should have got rid of it then!! Decided to call the PROFESSIONALS!!! Wow I wish I would have read these review before I handed over any cash to these cowboys!!! They came, inspected and said “Oh yes one whole side of the caravan needs re-framing and boarding and the floor too and all the awning rail to come off and re-sealed. It needs doing properly for it to be water tight. The took away to repair and upon further inspection said the back legs need repairing and the floor at the back. We paid this company over £3,000 and can’t BELIVE how stupid we were sending this payment before we seen it in person. I did actually ask for photos of works carried out before I paid them and then sent a picture but it never had the ply boards on the wall just the frame showing, I asked if this was being finished and they said yes on the phone. YOU SHOULD HAD SEEN THE STATE IT WAS SENT BACK TO US!!! I felt so upset and made countless calls to this company. Ben the manager agreed to have the caravan collected and fix all problems and put ply on walls ( which should have been done) they hadn’t done anything they promised the awning rails hadn’t been touched!! They come and collected the caravan and took back to repair. Put ply on walls etc and sent a few before and after pics back to us. I received the caravan back and still wasn’t convinced that the awning rails have been removed and sealed properly but they assured me it had been done and was water tight. LOW AND BEHOLD as soon as we’ve had a bit of heavy rain these past few weeks the whole left side of the caravan with new ply!!!! Is damp!!!! So they basically have done nothing and we’re back to square one!!! So angry with this company and proceeding to take further action. Surly they can’t get away with this false advertising, claiming to be a professional caravan specialist!!! I have never wrote a bad review in my life but I've had to do this as feel we’ve been robbed and lied too by this company.

Failed to refund a cancelled call-out.

County Court Judgment obtained against the company.

Highly recommend not using. And if you do, use the UK government claims scheme.

Had multiple works done and a full service on my Peugeot, had a few engine fault lights. Staff got me in straight away and got her back on the same day running like a dream! Great, friendly staff and very good prices.

Full service was done on my car and two new tyres. Very reasonably priced and excellent customer service. Will definitely visit again

Absolute scam stay away do not recommend!

Charged me £174 for diagnosis on my motorcycle

Mechanic was there for no more than 20 minutes told me it was the stater relay was broke (it wasn’t)

Said they will come back after the weekend to fit the part, no one showed up

Called them they said it would cost me £380 to fit a £15 part!!

Did it myself and it wasn’t even the issue with the bike

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had my caravan serviced in August 2022 using their mobile mechanic. I payed promptly then had to chase them for weeks for the service report and receipt of payment. They did send me the invoice eventually after about 8 phone calls, however I am still chasing them in October for the service report. (that's if they did a service)

OMG where to start with this company all I can say is at least Dick Turpin wore a mask these thieves don’t bother, charge £174 in advance to do a diagnostic test (which my garage do for free I might add) found a few faults on his machine said I’ve cleared them now I said well what if it’s not sorted he said we will come back out to fix the issues, we’ll no it’s not sorted it’s worse there’s more wrong with it now than before I rang them this morning to say they needed to come back out to sort the problem to be told if they come back out to me it will be another £174 when I told the smart Alec on the phone that my garage do what his lad did for free his reply was why didn’t you go to your garage then, I told him I’m stuck here 55 miles away as my father is in a hospice and dying of cancer he couldn’t give a monkeys so in short this company is a shower of robbers don’t do anything for the extortionate prices then want paying again to put their mess might. That won’t be happening and I won’t be letting this matter drop either, so my advice to anyone going to use this joke of a company DON’T save your hard earned cash and get someone reputable that won’t rip you off or a disabled vulnerable woman
