Always very helpful and and sorts out any queries very promptly.

My mum lives at Hillcroft Court Caterham she moved in 2 years ago and is very happy here. The whole site is run extremely well. The site manager Rita is very organised and knowledgeable, always sorts out any problems that may arise in good time. There is also a good social side in the communal lounge area with various evening activities, such as monthly bingo and quiz nights and residents meetings. The complex feels safe and the building and gardens are well maintained. I am very happy with my choice, as my mum was very reluctant in moving to a retirement complex after living independently in her own bungalow.

Comfortable retirement site located near the town . Tranquillity prevails on a well kept site surrounded by lawns & some trees so attractively presented.Gardeners attend regularly
One can be private or enjoy the common room activities & facilities provided for socialisation each week if desired .
Reassuring to know help is available in the face of any adversity as indeed is practical advice if requested .
Reassuring to know that site management support is available during the working week & backed up by a 24hr electrical call system at all times .
We enjoy a monthly newsletter which features salient topics/ dates of importance & recommendations if site facilities eg: rubbish disposal or recycling are compromised .
Living alone with no family in the immediate geographical area it is reassuring to know help & support is always available particularly as one ages .

The main reason for my 5 Stars is Julie at Jenner Court Weymouth. She has made the whole experience of moving my parents into an apartment an absolute breeze, helpful doesn’t begin to cover what she has done. Without her, I think my parents would have struggled to get settled and sort out the things that were needed, but she has been a god send. A credit to her position, and an asset to First Port.

Since Rose has become our DM , the whole mood in the place has improved immeasurably, she is amazing. Approachable and helpful every day .

Over the past week, I reported an issue in my building and received assistance from Laiba(FirstPort Group Limited).
I was impressed by how quickly she responded, how courteous and professional she was, and how effectively she handled the situation. The problem has now been resolved, and I’m genuinely very happy with the service I received.

Of all the many calls and emails I have made and sent, this fabulous young lady has showed up every time.
Her kindness, interest, compassion and understanding made what was a really bad and stressful situation, bearable.
She listened what I had to say and acted accordingly.

our Manager Caroline Newbury is kind and helpful to all our residents and always makes time for us if we have any personal problems.
This is as well as dealing with the many professional issues involved in keeping a safe clean and healthy environment for us all

FirstPort’s service has been absolutely appalling. I originally reported an issue in March this year, yet it remains unresolved. My claim has now been closed twice without the problem actually being fixed. When I raised a new claim to complain about the mishandling of the original one, it was simply marked as resolved and closed again, without anyone contacting me or taking any action to address the issue.

As a result, I have been unable to use one of my toilets for nearly a year. This is completely unacceptable and has caused ongoing inconvenience and frustration.

We pay for a service that we simply are not receiving. The repeated closure of claims without any resolution, combined with the complete lack of communication and follow-up, demonstrates a shocking lack of professionalism and accountability.

This is, without a doubt, some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. FirstPort needs to take responsibility, stop closing claims just to mark them as resolved, and actually address the issues residents are reporting. Absolutely disgraceful service.

For over a year we have had a blocked vent stack in our block of flats run by First Port. Over a year of not being able to open our ensuite bathroom door because of the stench. Over a year since we first informed First Port. 10's of emails begging them to sort it out. 10's of phone calls being left on hold for over an hour a time. First Port just do not care. We had our walkway to the flat overgrown with weeds and bushes, after 6 months of begging, finally we cut them. Trade button not working being reported for a year. After all this, being hit with massive bills paying for things that were never fixed, paying for things from over blocks of flats. Worst customer service I've ever received.

Dre, the new development manager at Homefirs House, is very helpful and pleasant to everyone. He deals with all situations confidently, and finds solutions to issues when necessary.

When the new manager came in May 2026, I asked her to send a message to a resident who was expecting me the next day. She said she was busy but would try, and I was so pleased that she had popped a note in his door explaining my predicament that day. This straight away showed me that she cared about the residents and their relatives and friends. I have since found her friendly, always with a smile and a 'hello' to my brother-in-law. I feel she goes the extra mile, and is always thinking of how better to serve the retirement home residents.

Tami, does a fantastic job keeping Belvedere Court running. She is always helpful and does so with a smile on her face.

Gavin is very friendly, approachable and interested in what i have to say and will do his utmost to help me if i have any queries.
