I got many solar quotes and met some scammers. Finally, I chose InstaGroup. It was the best decision.
They are the most reliable service I have ever found. All the staff members are friendly and very helpful. There are no hidden charges. Everything is clear and exactly as described.
I highly recommend them. If you want a proper solar system, go with InstaGroup!

Our experience with InstaGroup has been extremely disappointing and has reached a point where we feel compelled to make our concerns public.

InstaGroup presents itself as a long-established and professional organisation within the insulation, ECO and social-housing sectors. Having worked with the company for several years, our experience—particularly over the last couple of years—has been very different from the professional standards we would expect from an organisation operating in this industry.

Our most serious concern relates to outstanding payments. On several occasions, we were told, in substance, that if we wanted outstanding monies to be released, we needed to submit further work. We found this completely unacceptable. Faced with significant sums already outstanding, we felt we had little practical choice but to continue submitting work in the hope of receiving payment.

Instead of resolving the problem, this resulted in our financial exposure increasing further and further. In our view, no contractor should be placed in a position where it feels compelled to provide additional business simply to secure payment of monies it believes are already due.

Even more concerning has been our experience when attempting to resolve the matter with senior management. We have made repeated attempts to communicate, visited InstaGroup's offices on several occasions and specifically requested a meeting with senior management, including Dave Robson, to find a commercial solution to the outstanding payment issues. Despite the seriousness of the situation, our attempts to secure meaningful senior-level engagement have, in our experience, been unsuccessful.

The consequences for our business have been severe. Contractors have employees, subcontractors, suppliers, creditors and families who depend upon them being paid for work they have completed. Withholding substantial payments does not simply affect numbers on a balance sheet—it can place enormous pressure on an entire business and the people whose livelihoods depend upon it.

We have reached the stage where the continuing non-payment of the sums we believe are due is causing serious financial distress, including difficulties meeting salaries, supplier obligations and other business commitments. Meanwhile, our own creditors are understandably pursuing us for payment.

After years of working together, we find the way this situation has been handled deeply disappointing and unacceptable.

We would strongly advise any contractor considering working with InstaGroup to carry out thorough due diligence, obtain very clear written payment terms, carefully control the amount of outstanding exposure they allow to accumulate, and think extremely carefully before accepting requests for additional work while significant previous payments remain unresolved. while they are not paying us they are further hiring more staff.

We remain willing to resolve our outstanding account professionally and commercially. However, after repeated attempts to achieve a resolution, we believe other contractors are entitled to know about our experience.

I wanted to install some extra solar panels.
InstaGroup gave me a quote which seemed to be quite reasonable. They installed 5 extra solar panels and an EV charger. The work was done on time. The crew doing it were very good.
All in all a good experience.

I am left very impressed with the service received in getting an EV charger fitted at home. Very professional, very strong technically, clean and friendly with full explanation of how to use. Very happy and would definitely recommend. Thank you.

I have genuinely been so impressed with the service received from the team at Insta regarding my solar panel and battery install. The team are knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and have done a fantastic job from start to finish. Jack was really great at getting us a good quote and giving us all the information we needed to make a decision and the install team were great - efficient, knowledgeable and couldnt do enough for us (a shout out to George who did the electrics as he was fantastic!!). I would highly recommend the Insta team for any solar/battery installs - so much so ive already recommended them to family who are booking in installs with them now!!

My mother had solar panels and a battery installed at her home, and was absolutely delighted with the entire process. She said the man she dealt with (Jack) during the process was very helpful, the team who installed the products were really friendly and polite, and when she had questions about the app afterwards everyone was happy to help explain things. Just wanted to pass on her feedback that she's really pleased with the service from InsatGroup!

I recently enquired about a battery storage system and a week later I'm waiting for someone to reply. I've had to send a complaint to the CEO regarding this, but this is not a very good initial view of Instagroup as it indicates how they are likely to conduct business with you, the customer, later down the line.

Very smooth and efficient process - made it easy to understand what products would or wouldn’t work for my house. Easy to deal with and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

Very easy to deal with this company.
They extracted old cavity wall insulation and added new all done very professionally. Also topped up my roof insulation.
All done with due care and attention very pleased customer.

As a retired construction site manager, I have used Insta for many years (20+ years) on the new build sites that I managed so when we purchased a house that required roof insulation, I natrually contacted Insta Group, the job was priced competitivly & the work was completed to my satisfation on time & without delay

Recently had some loft insulation installed by insta group.
Very pleased with the whole process. Was contacted very quickly after my initial inquiry by Jack Gibson-Barton in the office to talk through what was needed and the survey was booked for a few days later. Surveyor was on time very helpful and explained the work that was needed and took me through the costs etc.
Actual installation was done last week and again installer turned up on time, went through the work that was to be undertaken and then shared photos of the completed work.
Would recommend.

The installation was very rushed and overall pretty slapdash. Also left quite a lot of bits of insulation on the stairs/landings for us to hoover up afterwards, and pick up from the street outside the house. Ultimately very expensive for what it was, but part funded by a rebate. Even with that, it left me wishing I’d just done it myself.

We cannot fault this company from the survey, solar panel installation to battery commission. Everyone we dealt with was polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Even the scaffolders were careful of all our plants. The director Ed Andrews ensured everything ran smoothly and was available for any concerns; we felt in safe hands. We honestly cannot rate them highly enough, excellent company.

My survey was carried out by chartered Surveyor
Mr Garry Low ,very pleasant experienced man,carried out his work very thuraly and explained everything as we went along,Garry told me he was more than sure I had a gas leak at my boiler he assisted me in contacting transco ,who attended well within 1hour ,Garry was spot on boiler fixed quickly,thank you Garry.
After work whitch took Garry good few hours,it’s time for surveyor to go ,if the installation is as good as his survey I can’t wait.thanks again to Garry Low
