Absolutely disgraceful service. I ordered a full dinner (Order ID: 161339493) and the restaurant literally delivered nothing but a single tub of gravy. No food, just liquid.When I contacted customer service about this absolute joke of a delivery, a "Senior Advisor" named Yamasani Shivani flat out refused the refund. They claim their automated computer system has flagged my account for "high frequency of claims" and therefore they are keeping my money.Let me be perfectly clear: Your internal IT system and company algorithms do not overrule Irish statutory law. Under Section 50 of the Consumer Rights Act 2022, you cannot legally retain payment for goods that were never provided. Charging a customer full price for a tub of gravy is a blatant breach of consumer rights.Just Eat is now completely ghosting my emails because their staff are too lazy or restricted by software to fix a genuine error. I have formal photo proof of the single tub of gravy that arrived. I have already lodged an official complaint with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).Fix Order ID: 161339493 and have a human manager contact me immediately before this escalates to a formal chargeback via my bank. Robbery.

Delivered wrong order,delivery driver showed me google translate saying I am indifferent forced through a delivered order on app even though it was for alcohol and I didn't show I'd or give dob and when I complained they told me in an email it was my fault

My order was wrong and they told me I wont be refunded. What's more they offered no reason and just gave a lazy generic response to this blatant error

We ordered food for delivery which was not delivered. I went to the restaurant last night who remembered the order and which driver they gave it to. We are at a hotel 4 doors from the restaurant and the concierge was expecting the order. The instructions for the driver were to give it to the concierge. I just got an email from just eat stating that they will not refund the order. We did not receive any food!!!!

We spend hundreds of euro a month through Just Eat, so this wasn’t some random one-off order. When €79.98 worth of dog food simply didn’t arrive, they first refused the refund because the delivery code had been given. Then the reason changed to “too many recent claims.” Then we were told the original decision was still correct without anyone actually addressing the evidence.

We had timestamped PhoneWatch footage matching the delivery time and showing the courier arriving with only the bag we actually received. That still didn’t seem to matter.

Eventually we escalated the matter directly to Maxi Zoo, who actually investigated it. After all of those refusals, Just Eat then issued the full €79.98 refund, which has now been received.

What bothers me most is the logic behind using previous claims against a customer. If previous orders were genuinely wrong or incomplete, that’s a service problem. It doesn’t magically make the next missing item less missing.

We’ve spent thousands with Just Eat over time. Being treated like repeated service failures are somehow suspicious customer behaviour instead of something the company should investigate properly is a very strange way to treat a regular customer.

We eventually got the money back, but it should never have required this much escalation to receive a refund for goods that simply weren’t delivered.

Good deals cover loads of restaurants and take aways

Have decided to never use them again after been so disappointed with receiving wrong food orders, cold food, etc, the customer service is just awful, when you live chat with them they are so aggressive in their tone and have so many excuses as to why you cannot get a refund. Never dealt with such rude, horrible people in my life. Plus all the added taxes every time you use it is gone just ridiculous, a total rip off. Very disappointing service when things go wrong they just do not want to know or even care.

Liar fraudsters don't use their services because they can't even prove their food

I ordered this evening with Just Eat and my delivery was left at another address without asking for the code or phone number!
When I contacted them they said that they couldn’t give me a refund because the driver told them that I was texted him to confirm the delivery and when I asked for a screenshot with my conversation with the driver they said that this is impossible because they don’t keep the conversation between their costumers and drivers!
Do not order food with Just Eat!
They are SCAMMERS!!!

The food was of the utmost quality and tasted absolutely delicious.

Excellent service

Ordered a meal for my family on a Friday evening less than half the order was delivered when I completed issue with my order form I got a response with no explanation saying that a refund could not be offered. From reading a lot below this seems to be deliberate policy for them. Will never use this app again. I am reporting them to the European Consumer Center Ireland and the competition and consumer protection commission and would encourage all with similar complaints to do the same.

Courier delivered to stranger for 40+ minutes, didn't notify me and marked order as complete.

Contacted for refund as when I got food form the person food was cold, congealed and inedible.

No attempt to call my phone nor knock on my door.

Told me was my own problem when contacted via help center and to accept a 4 euro token voucher for allowing a food chain safety breach.

Food not delivered then made up a load of bullshit about it being delivered and the driver trying to contact me, bloke doesn’t even have my number to ring me so f all of you. Give me my money back

I wouldn’t even give them one star, ordered a voucher for a friend who lost her mum and payed extra for fast delivery, which she never received. Kept emailing them with no response at all. All very frustrating

The deliveries were inconsistent. Several times they were at wrong delivery place and one courier was extremely rude

Terrible experience. I ordered from dominos and mcdonalds first of all the dominos drive was EXTREMELY rude for NO reason he came up to the door and we had no clue it was our food cause someone else beside us ordered dominos and he said "theyre not answering wait this is YOUR FOOD you couldve said that in the first place and hands the food aggresively then mcdonalds OH DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED the driver was suprisingly very kind for the code JUST EAT NEVER GAVE ME A CODE!!! Then it took us like 10 minutes to figure it out when he handed us the food all of the coke SPILLED IN THE BAG! So the paper bags COMPLETELY RIPPED he handed the food and the coke SPILLED ALL OVER THE GROUND! And he just walked away... THEN! We went into the elevator and the bag COMPLETELY RIPPED chicken nuggets OUT fries DRENCHED TERRIBLE DONT ORDER!!!

This is not the first time this has happened. Ordered and then says its delivered and its not. Both times i had to spend at least 10 mins or so online getting my money refunded. I then have to wait for the money to be refunded. Not really quick and easy delivered to the door is it?
